Not for nothing, but it has to be so difficult for a "5'10" QB to see the whole field on any given play. perhaps we knew we could just force one side of the field. I mean if Groot is coming at you, that is boss level to see above/around him.

He certainly  looks really small on that football field  and has more than a few batted balls.   Makes one question how competent the folks were who measured him in combine were or  if he cheated a bit with some type of elevator device in his socks lol.

Yes, a Gruden email stated exactly the above.

yup .  that’s the simple  point that I was trying to convey .  There is no way to spin that other than a reference to someone’s big lips.  Gruden trying to explain it away as meaning something else is disingenuous lol.  Rubber lips in urban lingo isn’t slang for liar.  And lastly ,  Smith has the lips of someone of African decent .  They aren’t any bigger or smaller .

    Homophobic comments, yes.

Racist… there’s some nuance there. The only “racist” thing Gruden emailed is that DeMaurice Smith has huge lips. When asked about it, Gruden said he was referring to Smith’s propensity to lie and he often refers to liars as rubber lips. Considering that Mr. Smith does not in actuality have large lips, one may be led to believe Grudens explanation.

didn’t Gruden’’s email say that Smith has lips “the size of Michelin tires “?

The mob has decided he is racist, so he is. Why let facts get in the way. BTW I'm not sure of the facts in this case anyway, just saying that to most people it doesn't matter, they just want to look all pure. And you know, some people can say racist insults yet not really be racists. And I'm sure it happens often on the field too. But hey, we have to be perfect now, the mob demands it.

Gruden had a treasure trove of emails over 7-8 years in which he routinely used racist  ,  homophobic ,  misogynistic language .  Not sure how one would not conclude that gruden  was a bigot .

Remember bankruptcy does not mean you’re broke. It simply means you can’t afford your debts, ie. your mortgage. He could downsize and still be filthy rich.

I also obviously don’t know his situation, just stating a possibility.

Whatever assets Brown still has would need to be used to repay debts.    If he was filthy rich ,  he would not need to declare bankruptcy

He's gotta be halfway decent by now right? RIGHT?!

yes.  I recall a number of posts here stating that Peterman just needed time to hone his craft . After spending time with the great Chucky ,  I would expect he is now a finely polished QB

That's an interesting way to look at it.

I'm aware of the "ifs" that go against the Bills.  But the underlying, main point is that the Bills are rightthere w/ the Chiefs.  The games come down to a play or 2.

Would you agree?  Or are you of the mindset that the Bills are somehow light years behind the champs?  Please expound.

the playoff game against the Chiefs wasn’t as close as the score suggests .   The Chiefs were gaining something like 8 or 9 yards per play ….  while we were gaining 4 ish? Cowher made a pretty good comment about how the game wasn’t really close and that the Bills were just hanging on .
