  1. they'd probably start an illegal immigrant fighting ring...
  2. Pretty sure he's not that good, but he sure is a killer...
  3. Donte Stallworth. Cue the disses now...
  4. 1974 Pittsburg Steelers draft was maybe better?!? Round 1: Lynn Swann, USC Round 2: Jack Lambert, Kent State Round 4: John Stallworth, Alabama A&M Round 4: Jimmy Allen, UCLA Round 5: Mike Webster, Wisconsin 4 out of 5 first picks are in the Hall of Fame... i think that probably qualifies as the best draft for a team ever or maybe the 1986 San Farn 49ers draft: 2 39 Larry Roberts DE 06/02/1963 Alabama 3 56 Tom Rathman RB 10/07/1962 Nebraska 3 64 Tim McKyer DB 09/05/1963 Texas-Arlington 3 76 John Taylor WR 03/31/1962 Delaware State 4 96 Charles Haley DE 01/06/1964 James Madison 4 101 Steve Wallace OT 12/27/1964 Auburn 4 102 Kevin Fagan DE 04/25/1963 Miami 5 131 Pat Miller LB 06/24/1964 Florida 6 162 Don Griffin DB 03/17/1964 Middle Tennessee State they didn't even draft in the first round!!! Arguments?
  5. Robert Edwards blew out his knee after winning rookie of the year award for the Pats*. They were playing on the beach on Jimbo Kelly's team. That was like 15 years ago, so i don't know why that would impact the skills comps now...
  6. I think he had 17 sacks one season and was defensive player of the year, 1995. He did have the benefit of rushing the QB from Bruce Smith's side of the defense. Oh, and my softie is Corey Hulskey.
  7. I would think that if we move to a 3-4 this would be the front 7 line up (until we get all the pieces) RDE Stroud NT (draft pick) Mt. Cody (alabama) LDE S. Johnson/Williams ROLB Schobel ILB Poz ILB Mitchell LOLB Maybin we def need an off LT w our first pick, but this is a good draft for NTs too. who knows, maybe we can land a Wolfork, Hampton or Franklin (49ers) in free agency. another player on the radar fo LDE has to be Johnny Jolly. wishful thinking, but also correct thinking...
  8. Im not sure what team you've been watching, but my team, "The Buffalo Bills" could most certainly use an large infusion of talent at the linebacker position.
  9. guess i shoulda figured this was common knowledge already. ok, sorry... guess i'll go back to the comfort of putting my nuts in a vice again
  10. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_...?urn=nfl,212070 i really think/hope its the jags... it should be!!!
  11. Randy Moss, anyone? (17 Tds, rookie year of '98) Maybe Chris Carter? Even Gary Anderson not missing a fg until his last kick of the season (against atlanta in the nfc title game)? I def hope it wasn't just having those guys...
  12. Im w PTR on Mueller, but if Mallett is available (out of the top 10) i say yes. If not, wait till 2nd and take Pike.
  13. Nice avatar.... oh, and thats just silly - why not hire another broadcaster w/o any experience? i think matt millen was available at one point... got his experience... on the job
  14. i completely agree. i was watching him trail a lot of those runs and he certainly wasnt making up ground. i think he is always gonna have to play deep to be effective, which is ok for a free safety with his hands. hes definitely not afraid to come up and ring the bell either. overall, i like what i see
  15. Agreed, Suh is a beast - so is the DT from Oklahoma, Gerald McCoy. Unfortunately for the defensive minded Bills fans, I hate to break it to you, but we will be picking either a QB (Colt McCoy - since Sam Bradford will probably wait to heal and play his senior season) or a LT to help protect the body (but not the fragile psyche) of Trent Edwards - if he's even given a mulligan on this season... Let's hope that we COMPLETELY clean house and find a decent front office with a respectable scouting department!!!
  16. here's mine: we have a young team that lacks identity (if we have one, its not good). why not go out and sign someone like derrick brooks? hell, we all know he lost a step, but his knowledge of the game, let alone the tampa 2, is off the charts. even in his elder statesman age, he would be an improvement over the inexperience we have meddleing in our d. he would make a great defensive leader on and off the field. second, bring in runyan... again an older vet with that affords our o-line some flexibility. we know he's that there's not much tred left on his tires and he's not appropriate for the no-huddle, but haven't we all seen that this o isn't working? drop the no-huddle and take some pressure off the younger o-linemen... i know that this is just a pipe-dream cause its not financially fiscal, but a couple guys could really help turn this team around or, at least, give us some measure of dignity... instead of guaranteeing a top 5 pick! Sam Bradford, here we come!!!
  17. that's the best so far, although we'll prob b the 2-14ers this year. SAM BRADFORD, here we come!
  18. He meant Bryant McKinnie, and i agree - obviously in hindsight, that he was a much better choice than Mike Williams. At the same time, we had a quality, if not always hurt, LT in Jonas Jennings - who knew he would be hurt that often! Mike Williams was to be the bookend "road grading" RT that we needed - too bad he could never get his conditioning together... oh, and he just plain sucked in pass protection
  19. i think josh reed was a qb once too. He was a running back at LSU before becoming a Biletnikoff award-winning college receiver.
  20. QB - Tom Brady HB - Curtis Martin FB - Larry Centers WR - Randy Moss WR - Eric Moulds WR - Chris Chambers TE - Randy McMichael LT - Matt Light LG - Ruben Brown C- Kevin Mawae RG - Brandon Moore RT - Vernon Carey DE - Jason Taylor DT - Richard Seymour DT - Vince Wilfork DE - Aaron Schobel OLB - Mike Vrabel OLB - Takeo Spikes ILB - Zach Thomas ILB - Teddy Bruschi CB - Ty Law CB - Asante Samuel FS - Kerry Rhodes SS - Rodney Harrison K- Adam Vinatieri P - Brian Moorman KR - Terrance McGee PR - Roscoe Parrish I think that represents the best of what the afc east had to offer the last decade
