  1. over... Levitre and Mario...AND - if they stay healthy - you can add Kyle, Freddie and maybe Darius next year... Stevie is a good, but not great WR in this league...
  2. I'm not saying that I don't find that score alarming, but I remember hearing that Tracy Porter got a 4 on the Wonderlic. I think I heard about it the week before the Saints/Vikings NFC championship game. So, what did he do? He caused a fumble then later intercepted Favre in the 4th quarter to send the game into OT, which the Saints won. In a tight Super Bowl contest, the difference was Tracy Porter's interception returned for a TD. Wonderlic doesn't translate to Football sense, as far as I can see.
  3. I like Floyd better at 10, but - IF - Kuechly is gone by 10 AND we could trade down to the 15-20 range... Hill could be our pick...
  4. Everyone is talking about BPA when it comes time to pick at #10. Assuming we don't trade down and Luke Kuechly is BPA, what stops us from drafting him and plugging him in at strong side linebacker? I've watched a ton of football and would guess from his combine numbers and college footage that he has the wheels to play in space and cover/blitz... He would also be great insurance for the middle linebacker position in the event that Sheppard goes down, or just can't cover in a 4-3 D (Sheppard will have to cover more ground in this D).
  5. Oh, you poor JETS fans, just when the Dolphins had a firm grip on looking like the worst organization in the NFL, you go and pull the best joke possible. What, you couldn't wait till April Fool's day? Hey Sanchez, you think you had confidence problems before?... Try having the chosen one looking over your shoulder! Rex just bought his ticket out of NY!!! Atleast he'll finally get tickets to something... I can't believe I'm saying this, but DAMN, It's good to be a Bills fan these days!!!
  6. Come on man! We can find any kinda-fast-n-maybe-catch-the-ball kind of receiver for less than this brand-name-Super-Bowl-receiver, who, by the way, was open only because the Pats* decided to double Nicks and Cruz... PASS (no catch)
  7. He's not a running back. Quarterbacks are usually putting it all together at this advanced football age, and considering that Fitzpatrick has really spent more than half his career as a back-up hugging the clipboard, I still believe he CAN put it together. He needs some speed at WR and TE to keep the defenses honest and create more open players, so he's not constantly trying to fit it in tight spots where mistakes happen. We know he's not (GASP) Brady, Peyton or Brees - and he never will be, but he's smart and not scared to air it out. He's probably in the same category as Romo or (GASP) Sanchez - you know - the one's that play like they're infallible in one game and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn the next. Either way, he has the potential to lead us into the playoffs if he can stay somewhat consistent. GO BILLS!!!
  8. Baltimore was favored by 3 and in '86 the Giants were favored by 9.5
  9. I'm hearing the same knock on Coples as Orakpo got a few years back when he was ours for the picking and we took Maybin. Really hoping we don' t go offense till the 4th or later. We need Defensive monsters to upgrade this miss mash unit.
  10. Quentin Coples, defensive end, North Carloina. Just makes sense. He's big enough to play DE in a 4-3 and (most likely) athletic enough to be an OLB in a 3-4, thus keeping our hybrid 3-4/4-3 defense intact. I'm also hoping that we have Courtney Upshaw waitng in round 2. He's got great size and speed for a 3-4 OLB. I know there will be a call for RG3, but our D needs more help than our O, right? <edited>changed to correct pick
  11. Rodgers doesn't have off-days...
  12. I agree with you mostly. I believe that we will be (have to be) drafting heavily on the defensive side of the ball. I think getting a proven WR in FA to start opposite of Stevie to help take some coverage off, or atleast stretch the field has to be high on our list, since WR's usually take a couple years to develop. I would think they will continue to ignore the O-line in the high rounds and, perhaps, draft more project/depth players. Regardless of what D we will run next year, we will have to take a pass rusher at some point in the first 3 rounds. I say first 3 rounds because if there is a better rated D player at our pick (i.e. CB, DT, DE), we would have to take the B.R.P. at this point in our rebuilding. I'm not opposed to taking a stud LT with our first pick, if he is available, but if it's a choice between an elite LT and an elite pass rusher, it's a no-brainer...
  13. Haven't been here since J.P. was starting and the first play of the game, Merriman (just off his 4 game suspension) sacked him on the first offensive play. Anyway, I'm wondering where the best places to hang in Buffalo on a Saturday night are? Gonna be staying downtown on Saturday, so - where to go?
  14. It has nothing to do with Buffalo, its the type of defense he's in. He felt uncomfortable in the 3-4, where as the Jags run a 4-3.
  15. That's a lot of dog gone $$$... SORRY, such bad taste
  16. then I guess this guy won't be playing QB for us anytime soon... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5XK2JY2BhY
  17. I think the our friend Mr Jasper needs to get stronger before he plays any position in the NFL. I hate to say it, but he's getting pushed around by 3rd stringers out there... I know we're all pulling for him, but that won't secure him a spot on an NFL roster.
  18. We like our guards to be gentlemen... you know, the kind that open the door for the defender to sack the QB
  19. Unfortunately, they'd be more like "Thunder and Thunder". Neither is fast, in fact, I like to call Stevie "Brickfoot". They both do have very good hands, and good run after the catch ability, but not a lot of straight ahead speed.
  20. DE Marcel Dareus in 3-4/ Merriman in Nickle/Dime NT Troup in 3-4/ Williams and Dareus in Nickle/Dime DE Dwan Edwards OLB Shawn Merriman ILB Kelvin Shepard ILB Paul Posluszny (If re-signed) OLB Arthur Moats CB Leodis McKelvin/Terrance McGee CB Aaron Williams SS Whitner (if re-signed) or Wilson or Scott FS Jarius Byrd
  21. i agree with you on certain things, BUT - as a "franchise" QB, our boy has to be a whole bunch more accurate... he's not afraid of throwing the deep ball (and not so bad at it), BUT - his short passes and mid range passes aren't so great... argue that, if you will...
  22. i think the Bucaneers are gonna be mad about our new uniforms: http://www.wearitagainsam.com.au/Costume%20Hire/Gallery/Image32.jpg
