wtf are you talking about? What statement or video do you have to support these "rumblings"? Did you not see both he and Evans caught TD passes with one on one coverage. NE played two deep the whole game and we killed them with underneath stuff. TB tried to take away the screens and underneath stuff and got killed over the top. That is what was supposed to happen and if the line holds up will continue to happen. Who knows if he stays... Hardy was never and will never be a speed guy down the sideline. Doubt Johnson is that guy. I would like to see him stay. If he doesn't draft a speed guy or get Boldin. Mulitple options. The only way he isn't here mis-season is if we lose the next 4 in a row, DJ is fired, and he is traded to Minnesota, Balitmore, or either of the NY ( or better states the New Jersey) teams.

I am not the biggest fan of DJ but it would be unfair if he is not given the chance to see if the youth movement works under him.

Jackson putting his name next to OJ/Thurman?

Wait until Marshawn gets a chance to run behind Wood and company. Noone uses only one back anymore. Best case scenario they both push each other for 100/100 games!!!!!! -
Philadelphia Daily News Takes Shots at Buffalo
sharper802 replied to May Day 10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This coming from a city known for the police fire bombing an entire city block in 1980. F*&K them! Philadelphia is a dirty crime ridden piece of sh&t town that lost it's relevance in the early 1800's. Let me know when the Eagles win another NFC championship game w/o TO. Let me know when Donavan Mcnabb stops choking and/or puking with the game on the line..... -
Nice pick up. Bell is everything Walker wasn't.

Roscoe Parrish Back On The Trade Block

Please only if we get a LB Russ -
We can all agree winning the turnover battle is one of if not the most important thing to winning NFL games. I think DJ knows this but puts too much empahis on not turning it over instead of causing turnovers. I think that leads to the coaching "scared" label. I think that is where the check downs come from. I think that is where the inability to finish games comes from. Blitz baby blitz.

Wow he really took some hits and just kept getting up... Props to him...

It's a refernce to what Whitner said about Jim Loeonard. He called him "Lil Jimmy" after Leonard played great in relief of Ko Simpson. It became a bigger issue after Leonard excelled with Baltimore last year especially in the playoffs.

Pretty sure Polamalu plays SS but agree Donte was drafted as a SS. I would not be surprised if Byrd beats him out next year and then have to choose between Scott and Donte at SS.

He was the guy that TB's RT touched once each play and pushed him off the ball. He has no second move. He can't run around the RT's fast enough to get to the QB. They know he won't go inside and as soon as they touch him he is pushed backwards 1-2 yards.

Derek Schouman injury and the TE position
sharper802 replied to Golden Wheels's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Looked to me like a broken leg. I missed what happended to Nelson... Thank GOD we have Derek Fine ans Stupar on our team or we would be lost....LOL Best thing to come of this may be more Parrish and (eating some crow here) Reed on the field. -
I rememebr how he never gae up a deep ball and Moss caught most of his passes across the middle or in front of McGee. He is one of our best players. Please direct any anger toward Keith Ellison - 6th round undersized LB with poor coverage skills who gave up two TD pass plays.

Can we trade all these "circling wagons" for some tanks?
sharper802 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I too enjoyed the fact the kids on the o-line didn't take crap from the Patriot's. There is a fine line though. I saw Wood hitting guys after the whistle many times and was worried about a flag on a few occasions. I am sure the refs who reviewed the game saw it as well and don't be surprised if he gets an early unnecessary roughness flag. He won't get the benefit of the doubt as a vet would. -

!@#$ ESPN. For that matter !@#$ Peter King too. Anyone catch that he moved to Boston this year so he can be closer to Tom Brady's ballzack? -
The last Watson TD on Mon Night
sharper802 replied to grammer_police's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Try everyone watching the game since it was reviewed and shown over and over again. He had control of the ball. The ball is allowed to touch the ground as long as you have possesion first or simultaneoulsy. It dates back to the Tampa Bay St. Louis Rams playoff game. -
Can't we all just get along and agree to rip the Bills for having a sixth round undersized starting LB with poor coverage skills instead of picking apart a pretty good performance by our QB!

I for one can't wait to see Lynch get a shot at running behond this o-line. I honestly can't believe how well they did against NE. Lynch behind Wood on 1st and ten will be 2 and short a number of times a game. This is going to be awesome for the play-action. I would say at this time Jackson seems the more polished runner to the outside but beast mode is qoing to be awesome to watch between the tackles. I just wish he was back for the NO game. Lynch and Jackson could keep thier offense off the field for long stretches of the game.

Did you see who got burned Twice?
sharper802 replied to Speedy G's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The middle LB is responsible for the deep middle in the cover two. Safety help in the middle only comes with a single high safety for which the offense would throw to the sidelines or with a cover 3 or 4 where there are more safeties playing deep. I couldn't tell at the time if Byrd, Wilson, or Wendling were on the field or not. Jerry Sullivan said Byrd played well but I can't recall him being on the field. -
The fumble was just the worst play of a very bad night. In all the excitement we should not forget that the Pats opened with a 50 yard KO return and Mckelvin fumbled an earlier return. Probably worst ST performance in 5 years maybe a decade though they were awful in the late 90's and early part of this decade.

WHOA Trent PWNED Brady - check it out
sharper802 replied to SouthGeorgiaBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
First I thought Trent played great. However looking at his yards is misleading. He gained 35 yards on the final two plays and 83 yards came on screen plays to Fred Jackson. That is not throwing it downfield. He did have a very nice 21 yrd gain to Mr. Third Down Josh Reed(LOL) called back by penalty
