  1. Reed should have gotten in over Monk and Irvin. I don't even think Monk is a HOF'er and neither did Peter King(always said he should be in the hall of the very good) until he had a chat with Joe Gibbs. As stupid as it sounds Reeds window has come and gone. Too many WR's with better number will be eligeible in the next decade. Rice, Carter, Brown, Harrison, TO to name a few. Unless they expand the number of players that can make the HOF per year it just isn't going to happen.
  2. Aint going to happen. Rice and Carter will go in and face it Reed just isn't in their league.
  3. Truth hurts. Bills D was never a dominant force and played in a much weaker AFC.
  4. Has Belicheat ever traded up in the first round? I can't recall him ever doing that. It is far more likely he will trade a second rounder if he doesn't want to use the pick for a first next year.
  5. I agree with what you are saying. I just can't figure what person it could be on the SB teams. My first though was the DL or Secondary coach of the Vikings.
  6. You fail to realize the poor LB play is the primary reason they didn't win the first SB....
  7. Anyone have any idea??? Jim Mora Jr is out there. Who could they be waiting on from the SB teams? Gailey seems to be hiring guys that have coached at their respective level in the past. That would seem to go against hiring a position coach from one of the SB teams to ascend to the DC position. Anyone else have a guess....
  8. 1. OJ based on pure talent alone 2. Jack Kemp - If QB's are judged by titles he has two and a league MVP 3. Bruce Smith 4. Thurman - not far behind OJ in raw talent 5. Kelly - perfect leader for WNY fans and weather
  9. Exactly! It is perhaps some degree of false hope in Trent. But if Trent is truly a failure then you can kiss the playoffs good-bye for another 2-3 years. I would rather get a few pieces in FA and draft LT/OLB 's that can start right away allowing Trent one more year. Yes Sanchez and Flacco made it to the playoffs but with riduculously great defenses. Buffalo doesn't have nearly the caliber of defense. None of the QB's in this draft except Clausen look NFL ready. Is there a back-up QB out there that can lead right away - Kolb, Garcia, Troy Smith - that can be had for a mid round draft pick. Probably not good enough or in the case of Kolb won't be available for a reasonable price.
  10. Hell even Whoopi Goldbergh almost laughed it off on the View before she caught herself. Then she said something to the effect it is not as bad as hitting your wife.
  11. Define spectacular? Career QB rating of 75? 45 sacks given up in 2006? Career completion percentage 53.7? Vick has been far from spectacular.
  12. When Keith Ellison is a starting LB on your team, you need a LB(unless Maybin moves to OLB). The only QB worthy of the 9th pick is Clausen. There are going to be several QB's available in round two and maybe three. LT and OLB are needed just as badly as a rookie QB. Would I give my left nut for Kevin Kolb? Yes. Would I give a fourth rounder for Troy Smith you bet.
  13. Sorry about the typo... Agreed no way he gets past Jacksonville in the third. You may be right about him being slow but the inability to consistently throw the ball out of the wildcat is what stops it. Defenses automatically blitz their OLB's and corners playing zone coverage with the safeties over the top. A credible passing threat could be a huge advantage. The other issue is whether or not he could physically survive the FB or even HB position in the NFL. Can he take running into a DT or LB every down? Don't know but I just don't see him being a QB in this league even though he is on team Jesus.
  14. Get no arguement from me. I wouldn't want any of them near my team. It amazes me how easily people forget this stuff. In my mind Kobe Bryant is rapist first and maybe top5 basketball player of all time second. Never live it down in my mind.
  15. Fair enough he is a midpack QB. Is that even an upgrade from Trent or Fitzy considering the baggage he brings? And for Tebow I would love him on the Bills..... As our version of Tom Rathman or Mike Alstott. Line him up in the Wildcat from time to time. Just don't let him take a snap from under center and don't draft him before the fourth round...
  16. Bills front runners for Vick??? http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/features/rumors If they sign him I am done. From a football sense it is a dumb move. He's awful. And don't give me that mobile QB behind a bad offensive line cr@p. He was one of the most sacked QB's in the league before he was incarcerated. From a human sense it is appalling. I can't believe that Ralph would spend his last few years on this planet and the last few years the Bills are in Buffalo being linked to and defending human garbage.
  17. It's not legal. It's the Brady rule. QB can't be hit below knee. Refs probably didn't call it because it would have been essentially back to back roughing the QB calls. Although I agree with Aikman Hargrove's hit should not have been a penalty.
  18. What is the over-under on sentences until fat bast&*d complains about the overtime rules again? PS Awful calls against the Vikings in OT. That ball was uncatchable I am not even sure there was interference. I also am not convinced that was a catch. The ball can touch the ground only if the player has simultaneous control - that was the rule change. No way he had control and it looked like the ball hit the turf when it bounced off his thigh.
