Vic Carucci says Bills to make major changes

This is the word of the lord... Remember it...write it down, take a picture, I don't give a f@#$! -
Where have all the Cutler lovers gone?
Armchair GM replied to Mark Long Beach's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it's so easy to say something like this after the fact... -
moronic is more suitable than crazy...I didn't stay with you on this at all...three lines in and I thought you were high! The Bills making the playoffs would require a coaching staff with some balls, and all we have is Dick! You wasted entirely too much time authoring this hot mess and you should go kick yourself in the balls!

There's 5 guys I'd love to see in a Bills uni next year... Dansby Peppers Franklin Pickett Kampman

What's Our FO's Dumbest Move of the 2000's
Armchair GM replied to BB Fan 4 LIFE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure how anyone can argue that retaining Dick after 3 straight losing season, 1 winning season in 8 as a head coach, wasn't the dumbest thing that any franchise in NFL history did. -
Addressing the team as a whole, I would cut everyone, with maybe 1 or 2 exceptions (Moorman, Jackson & maybe Stoud), over 25 yrs old. The only guys I would sign in FA that are over 25 are on the OL, specifically LT & C...Maybe a LB with a few good years left in the tank for some vet leadership on the D...

I think last week could have been the confidence giver that our run D needed. Grated, Carolina abandoned the run in the 2nd half, but they are one of the most prolific rushing attacks in the NFL and we, in their own minds, forced them away from their game plan. Houston has a good ground game and the fact that Andre Johnson probably won't play this week, lung contusion, we'll be watching for the rush. If we hold Houston to < 80 yds on the ground in the first half, we may see a repeat of last week...good for us! We'll see...

Completely agree! Personally I'd love to see Tebo in a Bills uni! He's big, tuff, smart, and most of all, he's a winner. I think his skill set will translate most successfully to the NFL, more so than any other QB in the draft...Here's a target on my back...again!

Ok, it's obvious your grasping at shoestrings... Fitz & TE battling it out in camp? Fitz doesn't have the arm strength to throw a 15 yd out, or hit Lee in stride and TE looks great in camp every year but has yet to be able to translate that to the reg season...time to cut your losses as they are both adequate back ups. DE is perfectly fine? WHAT? I would agree if we had a pass rush...but we don't, and Maybin will NEVER be an NFL DE. LB is fine too? If you're ok with your LB's making tackles 10-15 yds downfield and not being able to stuff a hole and stop the run. Have you been watching the same Bills I have... 23rd pass D and DEAD effing LAST in rush D. I don't mean to sound combative, but your mind-set seems to be the same as our piss poor coaching, and that's NOT OK!

1. QB 2. OT 3. DL 4. LB I say we dedicate all of our picks to these 4 positions...! Opinions?

A. It's not that he "couldn't make the Raiders squad," he ASKED to be released because of the turmoil within that joke of an organization. B. He is better than Trent ever was, is, or will be. Face it people, Trent's career is over...baring a miraculous turnaround. C. The whole point is "fill in." Shoot, even keep him for a year or two to help whoever we draft develop. Fitz will be a good #3, and Jabroni Hairdo can hit up the UFL or CFL, where he belongs (not really, don't know nearly enough about his play to pass judgement, just gives impact to the point.)

Bills should sign Jeff Garcia and Andrew Walter
Armchair GM replied to RLflutie7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That was a statement to save face in Oakland. They didn't release him, they granted his wish when he asked to be cut because he wanted no part of a disfunctional organization. The situation in Oakland is really ugly, according to Vic Carucci. I am all for signing Garcia...look at his track record, he's won games everywhere he's been. Granted he's no long term solution, but given the state of the Bills, Edwards won't be around much longer after this year. Signing Garcia, Runyan, D. Thomas now would make it look like there is some effort to make this team better right now. -
Trent Edwards - Where do you stand?
Armchair GM replied to MURTR's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Athleticism, arm strength, intelligence, competitiveness, pocket presence...as if I needed to justify my "opinion" to someone who clearly thinks he knows soooo much more about this game than anyone on this board...which is evident by the fact you trash every response that conflicts with your opinion. If you know so much, whay aren't you a coach/scout/Gm? -
Can we please get COLT MCCOY

Would You Trade For Leinart?
Armchair GM replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What this fist fill of a-holes really need is a coach who'll get in their faces and call them out for being a bunch of girls...Listen morons, you are all paid very well to PLAY A GAME that you love...so stop worrying about job security and go out there and take some chances...got nothing to lose now since the entire football world has written you off 4 games into a season...jagoffs!! -
Would You Trade For Leinart?
Armchair GM replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Only way I'd go for it would be a package deal...Leinhart, Boldin & Wells for Edwards, Evans & Lynch...sooooo, I'd say no. -
Trent Edwards - Where do you stand?
Armchair GM replied to MURTR's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is a good QB! Someday, when he gets the coaching he needs, he will become a premier QB. He has all the tools, he is just a victim of "play not to lose" coaching. They've got him so caught up in going through the "motions" and not instilling the trust your instincts style that is a key characteristic of EVERY great QB to play the game...Look at Kyle Williams, he's on pace to have a career year, and he attributes that to his D lne coach telling him "sometimes you just need to go!" He said he was so caught up in his gap assignments through the previous years, that he was hindered from making the big plays. -
Do they wait until the bye, when we'll probably be 3- 5? Or does a loss to Miami seal his fate?
-
not really, it's in Toronto, and they'll probably close the dome....duh!!
-
Losing to a 0-3 Dolphins team, to go 0-2 in the division isn't huge? The Jets made it huge by beating the Pat's! Lets say, hypothetically, we split with the whole division and Miami loses out (which I think they will)...we're dead in the water with tie breakers! The Pat's will get back on track, after all they are the Pat's, and split with NY. Both of them, judging by NY's D (early observations considered) will sweep the Phins. Therefore, so must the Bills to have any chance at taking the division. Thinking that losing to the Phins isn't huge is like giving the Fat kid 3 to 1 odds at winning a dodgeball game!

Tell that to the Steelers!
