Barring any snags, Robert Woods intends to sign a 5-year, $39 million deal, including $15 million guaranteed, with Rams, per sources. It may have been posted in a different thread but thought it might get lost there. Looks like he got his $8 mil per

Does anyone else find it interesting that no one else has picked up on this rumor other than LaCanfora?
-
Hopefully it's another incorrect LaCanfora rumor?

Disagree and dislike this comment. They could do everything wrong from a football perspective and Buffalo fans still would owe them a ton of gratitude for what they have done for the city. We would likely be in Los Angeles if it wasn't for them.

Bills tried to sign RT Ricky Wagner; headed to Lions

Agreed, this is a deep draft for S and CB probably just spending where it will be more difficult to plug holes in the draft. -
https://twitter.com/rapsheet/status/839288029730770944 I just thought this was awesome.

Agree if it was just the 40 but he was already looked at as a late 1st rounder. I was thinking a team might fall in love with how they could use that speed like the Rams did with Tavon Austin.

John Ross just ran a 4.22 then said he could have gone faster. It will be interesting to see if this pushes him up draft boards especially with neither Davis or Williams running this weekend.

Worthless might be a little strong. Dilfer was a bridge QB with Baltimore and they won the Super Bowl. Not saying that is normal, but there are some successful teams that have leaned on bridge QBs.

Should the Bills cut Kyle Williams to clear cap space?
Hyphe23 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Isn't he on the fence for retiring anyways? My guess is if we even approached him about a pay cut/restructure he would just retire. He also probably doesn't want to extend his contract at this point until he decides he wants to play past next year. -
Gunner's FINAL Mock 2017 - v.3.0 now posted (see page 4)!

Seems plausible. I've heard rumors of WR going to TEN and CIN, plus QBs have a way of moving up the draft post combine more than people think so it wouldn't shock me if 2 go in the top 10. If both WRs are gone and Hooker or Adams are on the board I would be very happy going safety there or trading back since the draft is deep at safety. I definitely think we need one or two though. -
Bills look more likely to keep TT - working on restructure
Hyphe23 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fitzpatrick had better numbers than both two years ago, do you want him too? Haha Also only 2 playoff QBs ranked in the top 10 in the league in INTs thrown, Eli and Brock Osweiler. 7 of the top 10 QBs in least INTs thrown made the playoffs. To act like that doesn't matter as long as you throw for 4K yards is ridiculous. -

Jameis threw 18 interceptions, second most in the league. Way to ignore that. Eli is a shell of his former self and that's with a great receiving corp. -

They all had way more pass attempts. Looking at yards and TDs only is miopic. Alex Smith has a good defense and better weapons. Why do you call him a winner but dismiss the idea of Tyrod being able to take us to the playoffs with a good defense? -

Id take him over Bradford, Smith and Eli on that list. Jameis was worse than Tyrod last year but expect him to improve more moving forward. -

Next year his contract will be very movable so long as he keeps producing like he has the past 2 years should we decide to do that. In the meantime he's not killing our cap situation and you are getting better production than you can count on from any of the rookies this year. -

20th highest salary cap number amongst QBs is definitely not franchise money. The $30 million is misrepresented because it's cash with how it was structured and it's not all this year. Cap number is what matters. -

Yeah I'm sure different talent evaluators will have different thoughts, but based on these comments it seems like a lot of these QBs may face the same issues of going through progressions that Tyrod does at times. That would give me little motivation to take a chance on them in the first round. I'd rather get an impact player in the first then QB later. -
Just thought these were interesting given the other threads out here. Thought I'd share: Over the last few days, I studied every 3rd & 6+ throw for every top QB in this class. Also watched every INT... Worthwhile project. Big challenge for these QBs--post snap thinking. 90 percent of their decisions are made pre-snap. If the look changes, they struggle. I thought Trubisky did the best job of working through progressions and making good decisions. He needs to clean up some footwork. Watson got better as year went along but too many forced throws, inconsistent recognition/decision making. Ton of 1st read throws. Kizer much better in 15 than 16. Better protection & Fuller were key factors. Still can't dismiss issues with vision/accuracy this year. Mahomes has incredible arm talent but he lives off script. That's tough to project. 4 of 10 INTs were simply playing 3 flies up downfield. Peterman does a nice job climbing in the pocket and reading entire field. Better touch downfield than underneath. No wow traits. Watson's 17 INTs, I broke it down like this-- 11 combination of forcing ball/poor read 4 tipped balls 1 poorly thrown 1 miscommunication Webb has size/big arm, makes impressive hole shot throws. Full field reads. Needs to improve pocket presence & falls off too many throws. Kaaya has firm base & he's accurate when in clean pocket. He really struggles when forced off his spot. Lacks twitch. Very monotone. Chad Kelly has a power arm. Supreme confidence. He can create plays with feet. Downfield touch & decision making need improvement.

Any show with Skip Bayless

Did you know that there are only 2 relevant starting QBs in the league with lower salary cap numbers than Tyrod Taylor? This excludes guys still on rookie contracts. I also didn't include RG3 as relevant. Not sure why everyone thinks we will save money by getting rid of Tyrod. If we bring in any relevant veteran the cap situation won't be any better

Didn't he leave KC because he wanted to play LT and get LT money?
