  1. I wish more people felt this way. During the Edwards vs. Fitz debates people would constantly use Trents comp% as reason for his superiority... I always felt Fitz was better. I got my point across by showing how Fitz doubled the production of TO and Lee when he played as opposed to Trent and that was more important that Trents comp %.
  2. Austin Davis is outplaying EJ...that is a FACT.
  3. I'll take my eyes over stats everyday. I'm just not a fan. Stats are quantitative but my question is always why? If the QB had a bad day, why? Was the line bad? Were there drops? Was the QB inaccurate and lost? I don't believe stats can tell you these things.
  4. Again, I respectfully disagree. I know the stats. I just don't care for them. Stat's don't show ball placement. Stat's don't show checkdowns vs. deep outs to receivers. A lot go into them. I believe Orton is a smart, accurate QB, that's capable of getting this very talented team to the playoffs. I believe that every team is only going to play one safety deep because they don't respect EJ (and why should they?). I believe Orton legitimizes our offense in a way EJ can't. I respect opinions that differ from mine, but that's how I see it.
  5. I respectfully disagree. Fitz is a risk taker with bad accuracy. Orton is calculated and has better accuracy. Theyre not the same guy.
  6. I'm concerned about this season. In the past 5 years all new QBs who are successes have shown more than EJ. EJ isn't the worst bust ever like Blaine Gabbert but he is the next Locker. Im just hoping we don't give him the amount of time Locker has received.
  7. It is my opinion. He has scatter shot accuracy and prefers to check down to often. Again, it is my opinion -- but in this era he's had 13 games and 0 over 300 yards...that's concerning. If he doesn't play well against Houston its not time to sacrifice the season, it's time for Orton. Yeah, Kyle Orton. Orton utilizes his receivers and isn't afraid to throw the ball. I believe that with our talent and Ortons willingness and talent that he could generate more production than EJ. I firmly believe that. I'm a big Orton fan actually.
  8. Mediocre game manager isn't good enough -- and at this point it looks like that is EJ's ceiling.
  9. Orton is FAR better than this board makes him out to be. People on here state that he was beat out by Tim Tebow, that's not true. That's not what happened. Not even close. Orton is a quality QB and EJ is a more athletic Trent Edwards. Austin Davis looks better than EJ.
  10. Next week cough Orton cough
  11. This is what EJ is. He's a guy who can make plays but isn't consistent. Gawd, I have that disgust in the back of my mouth that is reminiscent of the Edwards era.

  20. It'd be stunning if the Bills came back. This teams got fire though!
  21. Whoa, did anybody see the Drew Bree's hit?!
  22. Well, we're back in it but the way SD has been playing on offense...
  23. I know he's playing the Cowboys...but Austin Davis looks a whole lot better than EJ. Just sayin.
  24. The holds are frustrating.
