  1. I thought so. I think it was you who banned me.... Hi.....how are things?
  2. I'm glad the BBMB shut down. Welcome our fellow Bills fans. Misery loves company after all! To the newcomers, cheers!
  3. Has to be a result of the new PR guy... It's kind of a bad move imo.
  4. Oh Teef, I still visited...just couldn't post. I'm actually glad to see it die. Glad you're here. Hopefully others follow suit, unless it's that Town N County, and WYO. We don't need them.
  5. I was about to post this. Glad to see it. I got banned years ago for insulting nobody in particular, but using the phrase "EJ apologists." Glad to see the douche mods over there lose their grasp on internet power.
  6. If you ever watched him play I do not see how you could come to the conclusion you have.
  7. I would trade UP for Mahomes. You people that think Mahomes is a late first, early second rounder are too trusting of the McShay's of the world. Mahomes is a def top 15 pick, and probably will go in the first 10 picks. This is a more athletic Brett Favre. He'll throw a lot more than 6 interceptions...even as a vet...but he'll also throw 35 Tds, and 5000 yards to boot.
  8. I cannot believe how many of you voted for Tyrod Taylor. He's good enough to extend the drought while winning just enough games to keep us from being able to draft one. He may be the best option for next year, but for the long term future he's the worst option.
  9. So you think him capable of being "the guy" but he's still not worth a day 1 pick? Fans have become obsessed with the phrase 'not overpaying.' My philosophy is that you cannot overpay for a QB because they're impossible to win without. Just my two cents.
  10. I like Trubisky but there's no sense in pounding the table for a guy who will be gone by 10, and I cannot advocate trading up for a guy who played only 13 games...but I wouldn't be mad at the Bills if they did it. And you're correct on arm talent. Mahomes has the best a to come out since Stafford.
  11. I'd do it. During the drought we've had Price, Moulds, Evens, Owens and Watkins. The drought isn't due to receivers. For running backs we've had Henry, Jackson, Lynch, Spiller, and McCoy. That group isn't the problem. On defense we've had some good years, especially with Schwartz, but still no playoffs. What's the one constant? What do the playoff teams have that we don't? A QB. And until we get one there will be no winning.
  12. The thing with GMs is they're so scared of drafting a QB in the first because they're basically betting their livelihood on it. Sadly, I don't think Whaley has the balls to use the tenth pick on a QB. The Bills always find excuses to not address the position which explains our drought. If the Bills take a QB I'll assume it came from the Pegula's.
  13. So, I like what you say and I agree with many things you wrote. But here's the counter--you say his footwork is sloppy but the ball gets to where it needs to be with a zip that no other QB in this draft has. My take on evaluating QBs is this...screw mechanics, I do not care. What I care about is: is the guy a playmaker? Does he throw receivers open? Can he extend plays? Does he panic when the pocket collapses? When he scrambles do his eyes stay downfield? Personally, id like to see the Bills spend the 10th on Mahomes and bring in Josh McCown. Look, next year ain't the year the drought ends. We're outgunned by superior QBs seasonlong. Let's get our guy (Mahomes) and play him when he's ready. If he's not ready week 1, plug in McCown. I respect your insight. Good thoughts. Either way, I think we both agree this QB hell that we've been in for 20 years HAS to end.
  14. So you hate his footwork. Ok. But what about his accuracy with that bad footwork?
  15. That's what happened to me. Looked into this kid a couple weeks ago. He reminds me of a better built Aaron Rodgers. Let's not pass on that. That's why I love him. He has good mechanics, but he can throw off balance and from multiple platforms and he still gets the ball to where it needs to go. So I don't care that he threw in an air raid system. He's amazing.
  16. I attribute our passing woes to Taylor. I saw receivers running open during Watkins' injury. We need to upgrade the position, but getting a receiver is like going to buy a bat when you don't have a baseball...what's the point? Get a good QB and all will fall into place.
  17. I think a lot of people haven't seen the kid play...I think a lot of people are just going on internet mocks where Mahomes isn't in the first round in all of them. But trust me, he will be. There's serious intrest in him from Arizona building I hear.
  18. If somebody got antsy last year and pulled the trigger on Prescott in the 2nd, do you think they'd feel ripped off? I get what you're saying and to an extent I agree. But I believe come draft day Mahomes will generally be viewed as a top 15 pick.
  19. This kid is unbelievable and definitely worth the #10 pick. He's mobile. He's well built. He can make Aaron Rodgers type throws. Right now people are getting mocked for suggesting that Mahomes is a first rounder...that will change as we get closer to the draft. When you watch Mahomes it is impossible to not be impresssed. His naysayers argument is that he's a 'air raid system QB.' Again, so was Aaron Rodgers. All I know is this--Mahomes makes unbelievable throws that put his receivers in great position for YAC. Mahomes routinely keeps eyes downfield when scrambling. Mahomes makes reads as is evident by his turning his head to the other side of the field when his 1 and 2 aren't open. This guy is unbelievable. He's the total package. I promise, if you're not yet familiar with him you will be soon because this kid will 'shoot up draft boards' post combine.
  20. I'd trade up for Wentz. I know full well Taylor made some splashy plays. I know if Taylor were a rookie his first year campaign would have been promising. I like Taylor. I want Taylor to start next year. That said...Wentz is a big guy with a rocket arm. There's no throw Wentz can't make. Also, I think we'll draft Wentz. There's already buzz out there. But the buzz would t be enough to make me think the interest was genuine but for the Pegulas. Kim and Terry don't have to know a ton about football to recognize we've been inconsistent and sucked since Kelly retired. They don't have to be geniuses to notice that the good teams have GREAT QBs. Think about that...good teams have GREAT QBs. You can't be a good team these days without a great QB. So, is Taylor a great QB? Right now, no. Could he develop? Yes. But he has a better chance imo of being what he is now than he does of imensely improving. Taylor's a vet after all. So I'm left with this...do I want to continue with Taylor? Yes. Do I want to give myself some insurance by drafting a QB high? Yes. Is Wentz worth additional picks to trade up to get? If he's a franchise QB then you have to ask yourself this, is a couple 1st round picks and some mid round picks worth it for a guy who could settle your most important position for 15 years? Think about that...15 years! If we draft Wentz and hit on him, that's 15 years of good football!!! But what about Taylor? What if we draft Wentz and Taylor turns out to be good? We trade one of them. But for those still not convinced on trading up for a QB, I'll leave you with this...if a drafted QB can give us 15 years, what can Taylor give us? Well, I'd say we could plan on Taylor giving us at most about 8 years if he pans out because of his age, his playing style, and the fact that his wheels will eventually succumb to Father Time. To me, targeting Wentz and trading up is a no brainier. I know a lot of fans differ in their opinion, but it's all about winning and some people see things differently.
