Alex is a good option but not worth a first or even two, twos. He’s just not. Remember a couple of weeks ago when the Chiefs needed a play out of Smith he couldn’t deliver when they were playing us. I would deal two, threes at most for Smith.

I cant see anybody giving up a 1 and 2.

I think if we get Smith we’ll just be in this position in 2019. If we bring Smith in he’ll instantly make us a better team. McDermott took one of the worst drought rosters to the playoffs. If we bring Smith in then I don’t think we’ll trade up for a QB and we’ll load up in the draft. I think next year if the Bills invest wisely in free agency and draft well that this can be a 10 win team and playoff team again. This will just put the team in the same position in 2019. All I know is Tyrod can’t be back and they’ll need to make at least one bold move this offseason.

Romo spent another game pointing out many of Tyrod’s flaws. Its clear Taylor can’t read coverage and quickly go to the receiver running the route designed for that play. He at least pretends to survey the defense as if he’s capable of reading it — but he’s just not. Two 3rds for Alex Smith might do it, and hold what we got in our 1’s and 2’s and aim for Mason Rudolph in the first? I think that’s a “process” move.

Settle down, Nancies. It’s not like we had reason to believe he was paralyzed. It was either a leg or head injury. It’s not like he was dying.

Does anybody know if Tyrod’s contract is guaranteed if he’s injured? That was literally my first thought when he went down. Can we shed him if he’s injured?

I felt I’ve had to include that because I’ve heard people say Tyrod’s a good, solid starter, just like Alex Smith and I think Smith is on another level. Smith is in the level just below elite. He’s not in the top 5, but you’ll always have a shot.

We need a BOLD move this off season. First, Alex Smith is a huge upgrade from Tyrod Taylor. HUGE upgrade. We need to bring in Smith or we need to throw caution to the wind and make a huge trade to bring in one of the big four. Or....there’s a huge chance we don’t trade up and target Mason Rudolph....

Mae should be able to get him for less than that.

What do most Jags fans think of Marone? He turned into the worlds biggest a-hole in his second year here. However, I do think some of that was due to the disfunction that walls the Bills before they cleaned house.

Alex Smith could turn this team into a powerhouse if they decide to ride with him and not trade up for a QB in the draft. If we get Smith, some good contributing FAs, and a good draft class, this team could make real noise.

A lot of people argue as experts when what they’re doing is googling it as they go. I don’t think they’ve made it that far yet because I haven’t specifically brought it up. I’m sure it’s clear what’s what by now. You have a good one — playoff football is on and I don’t like arguing when I’m practicing my inalienable rights. HAF?
