Chargers - Mike Williams and Joey Bosa hurt in meaningless game
papazoid replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
chargers are a preferred destination by sean payton staley is toast -
obviously this is a hypothetical...but i'll play along for me, adding Davante Adams would be better. He's a Top 5 Elite player. opposite diggs....lookout ! the other two guys, while solid starters, can be replaced.

it raises the height of the football....ball goes higher and farther https://www.footballzebras.com/2022/12/after-review-a-reversal-nfl-wont-allow-a-holder-to-elevate-a-teed-kickoff-ball/

seems kind of silly on the teams part.... lets take the helmet.....several models to pick from, sized exactly to fit cody......what, are they going to hang on to it, hoping another guy matches those specs. not to mention sanitary considerations. lets take the jersey....a team gets many requests to donate for charity.....but for someone who's no longer on the team ?

dr's originally said it would take 6-9 months to recover. he had his surgery in early october. the super bowl would be 4 months. in his presser he said initially he was in a very dark place, now he's in a great spot after working extremely hard at rehab and attending all the bills meetings. said he and the doctor, at his most recent visit, were laughing at each other, because each knew what the other wanted. micah's definition of healed could mean pain free movement. his reward, permission to participate in NON-contact practice to keep his spirits up. my fear is the doctor is allowing a bit of false hope and has no intention of releasing him for game contact tackling head/neck trauma before being fully healed for the 6-9 months. allowing him to get a jump on being ready for next season. this is a neck/spinal cord injury that probably shouldn't be rushed back. i'll be shocked if he plays this playoffs.....heck knows we sure could use him

Gonna throw this out there and then duck lol. Pass rush.

DL is not our biggest need....but sure is Beane's favorite want, based on previous drafts and free agent signings. without von, they look ordinary, so i guess it's possible. bills are already over the cap in 2023.....so upgrades will primarily come thru the draft IOL, #2 WR, DB are biggest needs may need to replace poyer, edmunds, singletary, saffold -

How is Skip Bayless employed as a sport analyst??
papazoid replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
it's part of his shtick.....every successful show needs a contrarian/bad guy....otherwise its boring. he's good at being a jerk. what i can't stand.... about him and others like stephen A is they constantly interrupt their debate partner(s) acting superior. i can't watch that. -
sounds to me like a Cincinnati source..... #1- the person is very upset with the league and has an axe to grind. the league screwed the bengals with the possibilty of a coin flip losing home field to the ravens for their first playoff game. HC Taylor was on record of being very unhappy about these scenarios. bengals executive and competition comittee member katie blackburn openly lobbied other owners to vote against those proposals. it was mcdermott who first said to Taylor "i need to be at the hospital with demar. i shouldn't be coaching". Taylor showed great sportsmanship and put up zero resistence. only to get the short end of the stick latter. #2- the league protected the bills interests in every way, they weren't upset. i have never once known beane and mcdermott not taking the high road in delicate matters. just cant imagine them throwing Vincent under the bus. here's what i think.....vincent told someone in the corporate officiating office to get the on field referees ready to restart. that was comunicated to those officials and the broadcast booth rules referee. the rules guy told buck and aikman. vincent told no one directly from either team to get ready (cause he was only talking to Dawn Aponte). thats his wiggle room. this will never get settled until the on site league official Dawn Aponte chimes in.

What's The Likelihood That Gabe Davis Will Get A Contract Extension?
papazoid replied to Kangaxx's topic in The Stadium Wall
he's under contract thru 2023. will be a ufa 2024. i think they keep him in 2023..... then not resign him. -
anything that increases revenue will happen..... adding an 18th regular season game and dropping a preseason game adding an 8th playoff team for each conference adds 2 more playoff games going to neutral site conference championship games would increase ticket prices building new stadiums streaming gambling more international games

bills 27-13
