Not a basher at all, but he is brutal in coverage. When you are at the game you can immediately see when he is going to get stuck in coverage and he always takes 2 steps in each direction after the snap and looks confused as to where he should be. Then you see a safety try to cheat over and help him. I like him as a down lineman

Who do you think can be that bad ass edgy player for us? Wood? Carrington? K. Willimas?

Not sure how well this may have been relayed to those of you listening on the radio. On the long pass play to Jackson, Fitzy walks up to the line and sees Poz digging in for man to man coverage on Freddy, who is in the left slot. He signals an aidible to a pass play that requires him to smack his helmet with his right hand. He was so excited I thought the trainer was going to have to bring out the smelling salts. As you would expect, Freddy takes him down field and the ball is waiting for him when he gets there. That's what Harvard will do for you (actually the guy next to me saw it develop as well, and I am pretty sure he never wore crimson).

Who was the 5th QB we used vs Bears?

Option QB from Georgia Tech -
Like what I see for sure. Anyone else notice that at training camp, he and Kelsay kinda just stand around most of the time and talk to some non players while everyone else is working with position coaches. Not sure if they are coaches (or posse). I guess if that keeps him from getting hurt, I should be okay with it. It would seem however that Kelsay could use a little technique coaching at the linebacker position.

Did you see the RB chip him? He went down faster than a bowling ball rolling off the table. Perhaps most troubling... he always looks happy and proud out there. Does he know?

I don't recall exactly how big Pete Metzelaars was, but this kid looks huge. He looks reasonably athletic and can catch the ball. Hard to believe he was cut from another team. Anyone know why?

Someone needs to show this to Maybin

Can we just draft the girl in Buffcomments pic and be happy please -
I have a serious question, so please think about it before responding. Most of the criticisim here about Schopp is well earned. He enjoys being a contrarian and is vitriolic in nature. He has always been this way and I believe that it has been somewhat part of his radio personality. The question is, I remember a short while ago he talked about adopting a child and for a short time after that, he seemed like a different person. Then I beleive it was taken away (I missed a few shows and never knew if this was a hoax, for real....). If it was for real, do you think he has been even more of a jerk since then? We are all a product of the experiences we have and maybe he has had some pretty negative ones. I really wish he would get some help if needed. If this is not the case and he is just arrogant and dislikes our teams and the fans, he should find another job. Thoughts?

MacIntyre. With Lynch as bulked up as he is, he can fill the fullback role easily. I expect to see a lot of two back sets with Lynch and Jackson.

So.... Only 2 RB's to start the season?

Don't forget that Josh Reed has been an emergency running back before. -
Anyone notice how much better WGR is without Schopp??
Robchester replied to zevo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seem like one or the other has been either on vacation or "sick" for months. They are definitely trying to reduce staff and forcing them to take unpaid time off. I love the way Schopp pretends that he cares about the credibility of the show, but when the Bills were 4-0 last year and knowledgeable callers were pointing out the falacy of them being good (played one team missing 3 offensive lineman and two with coached about to be fired), he mocked and derided each caller, because he wanted to have "positive" shows. Now all he does is crap on the Bills and Sabres, while telling us how he doesn't even like the sports. Is it too much to ask for guys who love sports and our teams???? -
I don't like the extra weight he has put on. He looks slooooooow.

I am more displeased with Youboty"s lack of effort in blocking after one of Lankstar's picks. Given his lack of practice time, he probably should not have even been out there and it showed.

Well if it is something normal like a death in the family, the good news is it's not like that could set a player back a whole year. Oh, wait a minute, that can happen (#26).

Who Says Our O-Line Needs Time To Gel?

I would enjoy this post much more if I thought you were the hot chick in the pic. Not likely though. -
Um, lets hope he didn't get drug tested that day.

Mr. Weo--Jim McMahan, Tom Brady, Jim Kelly, Terry Bradshaw... to name a few

I just want to see him get some work in outside while we still have winter weather. There is no way to replicate that in OTAs or TC. He needs to thrive in the elements like Favre did, not just survive them.

either we are gonna play more man defense

Okay, now let's make the final DB move. Trade T. McGee to Cleveland for Braylon Edwards and then resign Jabari Greer.
