Bruce Smith official and unofficial sack leader
NoName replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A lot of these guys have nice stats, however, Bruce got sacks when it mattered. How many times on a third down did he come around that corner and get a sack that the team needed? The guy is by far the Best Bills player I have ever seen and I jumped on the bandwagon at the start of the first super bowl. -
Pete Prisco's (CBS Sports) top 100 for 2021
NoName replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Damn. We really did mess up in trading Wyatt Teller. He's ranked higher than any current lineman we have on our roster. -
I agree with you. The only thing I would add is bringing back Feliciano. Maybe we can get him back at about 4mil/per?

Re-sign or “Wave Good-bye” series: Player 3 - Ike Boettger
NoName replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not a fan of Ike. I'd bring him back as a back up and it would have to be no more than 2.5 per season. -
No Way! No true Bills fan would ever vote for Brady under any circumstances!!!!! Especially those Bills fan who live in New England!

Do we play 3 LB sets vs the ravens or stick with nickel?
NoName replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think a 5-2 would be a really bad idea for many reasons. We would get torched if they went into a three or four receiver set. It also puts more bigger slower guys on the field. I actually say we should consider a base big nickel defense. Maybe put saffron neal in there on 1st down instead of johnson. Or we should consider going base 4-3. I am not sure how we deal with a 300 plus pound full back -
Does Antonio Williams Get Activated for Playoffs??

Benching Singletary is a stupid idea. End of story. -
Week 15 Bills @ Broncos 1st Half Gameday Thread

Who in the world is that guy who caught the TD? Is he a WR or TE? -
I think it's really close but I would go with Tyrod. If for no other reason because Tyrod would not hand the ball over to the defense. Say what you want but you cannot win with a QB who turns the ball over as much as Fitz. You know what you were getting with Tyrod. Fitz was too unpredictable which is why he was cut shortly after signing the big extension.

I don't see it with Sweeney. Nothing stands out about him. The ceiling on him is as a 3rd TE/blocking specialist to replace Lee Smith. Very interested in seeing how Knox develops. Croom is interesting to me.

Rd 4, Pick 128: WR Gabriel Davis UCF

Duke Williams is the new Marcus Easley. -
RD 2, Pick 54: DE AJ Epenesa, University of Iowa

I didn't think of that. Good point. Saves us damn near 10 mil in cap savings. -
Buffalo Bills worst draft choices.
NoName replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed but I wouldn't put Losman with Maybin and Williams. Losman was a bust but at least he showed some flashes with a few 300 yard games and multiple touchdowns etc. Maybin and Williams did absolutely nothing. -
Buffalo Bills worst draft choices.

Agreed. Eric Flowers or Mike Williams (whatever that rt name was) would get my vote for the absolute worst. -
Rosenthal: True QB value rankings from 1-35

I agree with you. This is the year we find out what Josh Allen is all about. He has the weapons, he has a true #1 receiver, he has a run game, he has a strong defense, a solid offensive line, he's had minimal changes to personnel, same offensive coaches and it's year 3 for him. This is it, Josh. -
I don't know about Dawkins being better at his position then Milano is at his. I think they both are even at their position. One question we might want to ask is, could we keep Milano and upgrade the LT position?

Nsekhe (spelling) might have something to say about that.

Wonder if Jerry Hughes is just excited or....Tweet 5m ago
NoName replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
After giving up so much for Diggs, why would you come back and draft another WR high in the draft?? Doesn't make sense to me. The Bills run more than most teams in the league and with Diggs added, they will still run more than most teams in the league. Why wouldn't you get someone to compliment Singletary? I like the other posters idea of a TE if a playmaker is available but I would not touch a WR at the top end of the draft unless you get someone with a mid 1st round grade slip to you. -

With Diggs, Brown, Beasley, Foster and Williams as your top 5, there is no reason to draft a WR high. The OL is set as well...at least for this year. They have quality starters at every position. Of the three positions you posted, RB has to be the biggest need. They don't have a viable option to play alongside or backup Singletary...they should target a Jonathan Taylor in 2nd round or AJ Dillon 3rd round. -
Will we pay Poyer or won't we?
NoName replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess I am insane then beacuse I wouldn't over pay him. He's not the best tackler or athelte in the world. He's a good fit for this defense and I would want to keep but given the other people that are coming up and people we could bring in, I wouldn't over do it. Plus I wouldn't want to have the most expensive safety tandem in the league. -
Where does the 10th win come from?
NoName replied to letsgoteam's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All this fuss about the playoffs. We are just going to get bounced in the wild card round anyway. Instead of stressing the playoffs so much, we should be stressing be a threat to win it all. What's the point of getting in the playoffs when you don't have a realistic shot. Right now we don't. Our offense cannot score like a playoff team should -
Who Was Better: Bruce Smith or Reggie White
NoName replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great Thread! I think Bruce Smith was the best Bills player of all time. I love some Bruce Smith. But I think Reggie White was better. To get those kinda sacks from the interior, I don't think you'll ever see that happen again. I do think Bruce would have gotten more sacks in a 4-3 but people seem to forget that the Bills almost always went with 4 defensive lineman in their 3rd down defense. It wasn't 3-4 100% of the time. I do think it's close because Bruce was clutch with his sacks but I would give Reggie White #1 defensive lineman of all time. -

I wish Doug Flutie was included on this list. It owuld have been interesting to see if people ranked him above or below Tyrod?
