What is Josh's biggest weakness? And how would Fitz help with that when it was also his biggest weakness?

If McDermott or Dorsey have a job at lunchtime tomorrow, you know that whoever is running this clown show must be incapacitated.
And hire who? I get it, this loss sucks. We aren't out of it yet. The offense did some good things. Josh and Cook handed the ball over way too many times and we still almost won. The Broncos beat the chiefs not that long ago. No changes til the end of the year. And that's only if there needs to be.

Still zero sacks. Still 30+ million per.

If we lose on Monday, then it is the time.
Time is up!

I know it all depends on the success of the season, but if Dorsey keeps putting up 30-40 points on a regular basis, continues to supplement Allen w/ a consistent & explosive run game, and gets Buffalo to a SB then he’s as good as gone next year. I feel like he completely outclassed McDaniels today and that’s a nice notch on his resume. He’s done what Daboll couldn’t do and that’s make Buffalo a multi-dimensional offense.
Multi-dimensional offense???

Is it just me or does Josh look a lot slower running the ball. Back in his rookie or second year some of his runs were clocked in the 20 mph range and he was making d-backs and LBs look silly running by them. Seems like now when he finally does run he has trouble beating defensive line. Anyone else notice this?
Josh is definitely not the main reason for the offensive woes. That said, I do think he is a tad slower compared to past years.

Going into last year Hamlin was the 4th S. Hyde and Poyer were of course one and two. But when I jury happened there it was Jaquan Johnson that had first dibs with Hamlin taking over after Johnson flopped. This year, Hamlin appears to still be the 4th safety.
Rapp is more an upgrade on Johnson. It's the development of Cam Lewis to cover every DB position as well as ST that makes it necessary to dress 3 true safeties. Now the argument may be made that Lewis has passed him at the S position, but that's really only fan speculation.
i was more so thinking j Johnson was 2nd string FS and Hamlin was 2nd string SS last year. But seems like I was wrong, thanks for the info- 1

Hamlin was a 2nd string safety last year and was mostly active, this year he is a 3rd string safety and mostly inactive. Rapp basically took his spot and Hamlin was demoted

Just a few weeks ago, there was a thread about us possibly loosing Dorsey for a head coaching job. Let's see if he can figure it out. No way we do a mid season change or demotion.

If we have to replace Dorsey next year it's because he's getting relieved of his duties with the Bills.

He's done. He's toast. The question is this. If he continues to be toast throughout the year, can the bills cut him and move on?
-
I don't think he's that good on kicks beyond 50 yards. Inside of 50 yards, he's one of the top kickers in the league.

Christian Benford got beat too, but I don't see people bringing it up. When Dane was in the line up this year, he was targeted more than any other Bills defender this year. Kair isn't as bad as people make him out to be. Let's not forget he did a solid job in the playoffs. There are some other big ticket Bills defenders who cost a TON of money who were invisible. I don't see them being mentioned much.

There is more to being a head coach than being a good play caller. I see no way Dorsey becomes a head coach next year in the NFL. Possbily college, but not the NFL.

Frazier gets so much bashing on this board. The guy coordinated the number 1 defense not that long ago. Plus he's had top 5 defenses with us at least twice and probably never had a defense worse than 15 with us. I just dont think he deserves all of the bashing. I am liking McDs play calling and I do prefer it over Frazier's . but it's only been 3 games and Frazier wasn't as bad as people make him out to be.

James cook is super fast
tre white is no longer fast
Steph and Josh aren’t as close as they once were.
Benford looks really solid
Kincaid receives a lot of hype

He’s been a nice surprise and arguably an upgrade over Edmund’s….if he keeps playing the way he has been……I do t buy him being 7 pounds less than Roque’s smith….that dude looks like a safety…..being so small and playing a physical position, he might not hold up

I thought Hyde had a good game. Poyer not so much. Say what you want about the big runs, the defense did it's job and our new MLB looked better than expected.
Our D gave up only 16 points despite four turnovers. They did their job.

In all due respect to Bernard, I hope he's not on the field a lot and we run with three safeties.
He's not much bigger than some of the strong safeties in the league.

Trivia question for you.. who has been in the AFC Championship game the last 2 years? Yup that’s right the Bengals and Chiefs.. right now everyone outside of Buffalo sees the Bills as the 3rd best team, maybe the 4th since so many love the dang Jets now.. I think it’s funny you point to stats when players just look at it as “these two teams are the best in the league”.
Trivia question for you. How bad will the Pats be this season? You can say what you want about the Bills but as a Pats fan it’s a guarantee that you will be at the bottom of the East this year.

It wasn’t aired anywhere down here so listened to a bit in the 2nd half on Sirius. Kyle Allen sounded terrible from what you guys are telling me.I honestly don’t have a problem with Barkley as our primary backup. We’ve been fortunate in the past with Trubisky and so on.
I know it’s always possible, but Allen has been incredibly durable. I know he was out for a few games in 2018, but he really has improved escaping, and even sliding more. After today, my guess is McBeane are sitting him down and telling him no mistakes moving forward.
Barkley was Josh's primary backup longer than anyone. I don't know what he did, in an actual game, that made people lose confidence in him. I always thought he was a middle of the pack (or maybe a little lower) backup

Vontae Davis……the infamous retiring from football in the middle of a game. Talk about quitting on your team.

I felt like we should have signed him for cheaper 3 mil seams a bit much for a guy with less than 3 sacks. 1.5 seems more reasonable.

I am going to get roasted for saying this but what about the braylon spector guy. Last year's 7th rounder. He looked really good in preseason and seemed to know where to be.

Von Miller
in The Stadium Wall

There was a play during the Seahawks game. Von miller was rushing Wilson, he was in the midst of a spin move. Wilson threw the ball for a big play (possibly a touchdown) and when the replay was shown, you can see von miller being single blocked, no where near Wilson, turned the opposite direction as the other defensive lineman (because he was spinning) watching the ball in the air. I am probably not explaining it well but all I can think of now when I see Miller is bread fresh out the toaster…..#toast
