Congrats, on your sweet avatar! +1 However, Stevie does play great against some of the best corners in the game...But, I say sign him to an extension based on his play in 2011! So far in 2011, Stevie Johnson has not had a 100 yard game this season, plus he has only scored 4 TD's... As of right now, Stevie has no leverage on getting the big bucks anymore, he did after the first 4, but after 9 games in 2011--Nope! Unlike Fred Jackson, who will get close to top tier monies with his extension, IMO, Stevie should get a low second tier nod! I would love for the Bills in 2012, to go out and get a qaulity WR1...but, odds might and/or could favor a WR in the draft! Again, Stevie is a great WR and has played great against some of the better corners in the game...finding a decent threat--possibly a qaulity TE threat to go along with Chandler--could free up Stevie and will make him better! EDIT: Anyways, here is to the future of this franchise...may we all drink lots of beer, eat excessive amounts of wings...and watch Buddy build this franchise to be greater, than we can imagine--Go Bills!

Unfortunately, Ryan Fitz has issues managing games. Like Casserly's article, the Bills look like they have peaked--Fitz might have peaked as well... Watching Tom Brady last night, the Pats WR's were all jammed at the line...it wasn't until Brady utlized Gronkowski, a big body TE, who was mismatched up with smaller CB's over 50% of the offensive plays--something which Brady knew would happen and Gronkowski turned in one of his better games for a TE in the 2011 season. In 2012, this team will look different. This team is on the cusp of becoming a solid group. Sadly, I think we just gave Fitz a starters contract to become a backup in the future. Going forward, providing this team via free agency and/or draft with a qaulity TE and WR will be a need! Firing Edwards should also be a priority, Wan'stache' should be given the DC duties. Depth on OL and DL. Possibly getting a QB of the future via free agency and/or draft. -

Golisano Readies Bid For LA Dodgers
KollegeStudnet replied to Astrobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just flew into LA, nobody knows who Golisano is! I'm about to go out to dinner with some major Dodgers fans...From what I've known is they don't care who owns this franchise, as long as its NOT the McCourts! -

Are the Bills the Chicago Cubs of the NFL?
KollegeStudnet replied to Since 1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Since 1903, the Cubs have won a championship twice... Since 1959, the Bills have won a championship twice.... Two historic franchises with a strong following. IMO, these teams deserve one championship...they both have that underdog feel! Just imagine if the Cubs win the WS or if the Bills won a SB...it would be a huge feel good story! -
Winning this division depends on IF the Bills can win these games! With Miami twice, Jets once and Pats once more... This team needs to go at least 3-1 on the rest of its AFC East opponents! EDIT: Go Bills!

Did the Madden Curse strike?
KollegeStudnet replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last season, Hillis started on fire...then trailed off the rest of the season. I was shocked the people of the Madden world voted for him to be on the cover. Mostly, because Hillis is a virtual player, who has never started a full season and/or was starter material in the past. -

So far in the 2011 regular season, NFL teams playing the game right after their respective bye are 3-9. Granted, on any given Sunday--anything can happen! I would also like to point out, that the majoirty of the NFL teams that lost their game right after their respective byes--have losing records. I'm expecting Fitzmagic this Sunday, because I'm going to be hanging with 10+ 'Skins fans, to my, one Bills fan! Meaning, myself, the only Bills fan I've met in all of the Salt Lake City sports bars in 10 years!

I know it's early but Next year's draft ...
KollegeStudnet replied to MClem06's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If I was Buddy Nix....and just woke up from napping....On the first day of free agency, I would go after an aging veteran, who was a #1WR for our #2WR spot. Chad Ochocinco looks like he won't be back in New England in 2012. It wouldn't be a bad move, if we signed this guy to play with Fitzmagic, who once played with eachother with the Bungles, for the remainder of his career as a Bill. One more thing in FA is addressing a veteran TE. I would love to see the Bills play two-TE schemes, similar to the Patriots, Panthers, Texans and Lions. I haven't seen a qaulity TE on this team, since I was 11 years old! Playing a two-TE scheme looks promising and I bet Gailey will try to go along with the trend of installing it in his 2012 gameplans! Unlike 2011 CBA debacle, last time I looked, the draft will fall after the free agency period. -
Again, all I got to say....Go Bills!
-
Spiller at the time was the talk of the draft for RB's...I think we have a strong backfield, similar to that of the Raiders!
-
I say, Buddy should get more credit...he has helped turn this team around!
-
I'll say in the near future, I wouldn't be shocked to see Southern Ontarioians (or ites) become 20,000-25,000+ strong at games! In fact, I would embrace it...based on this team needing the support of the Canadian population to survive! Since the 1970's...Western New York has declined in population... North West P.A. has had a decline in population North Central P.A. has had a decline in population Central NY has has a decline in population Since the 1970's...the Southern Ontario population has increased! Again, the Bills need Canadian support--Sorry, 'nay sayers' it's the only way this franchise will remain a franchise in WNY!
-
Agreed! Peace Bridge, Falls & Queenston-Lewiston are always packed Sunday mornings! It has to be greater than 2%! I didn't see this earlier, I'd say more than 20%...the number of Canadian season ticket holders is growing yearly!

The Potential: Buccaneers London Series
KollegeStudnet replied to KollegeStudnet's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I heard on Sirius NFL Radio, that IF a London franchise is awarded, the most logical will have the London franchise having, a second headqaurters on the East Coast...where the team will stay, train and prepare for games while playing in the states! Playing regular season games...the London team would... Play 3 home games in London... Switch... Play 3 away games in the States... Switch... Play 3 games back in London ...and so on
