  1. I'm currently co-writing an article with several fans from other teams about their teams journeys for post season success in the future! It's a very intriguing piece, of which, details the trails and tribulations of the following teams: Cardinals, Eagles, Cowboys, Redskins, Bills, Chargers, Browns, Seahawks and The Jests! My subject: What the Bills need to get back to the Super Bowl It will provide the history of the 90's Super Bowl teams, the 12+ years without a playoff appearance and the coaching changes since Marv Levy. Right now, I'm looking for fan feedback to help me set this article into stone... Meaning, I would love to read your posts on what YOU feel this team needs NOW--to get them back into the promised land--the land Bruce Smith called, "The Show!" Thanks for your time and...Go Bills!
  2. several things...the recent pass happy offenses have made teams who normally play 3-4 techniques--play 4-3 techniques and vice versa.. Plus, this Bills team tried to install the 3-4, but the 4-3 caters to the players we already have...
  3. I agree! As a fan of this team, I want to see this team be a success. I just hope, Fitz doesn't become the reigning interception champ in 2012, if that is the case...no playoffs for 13+ years!
  4. I'll hold your hair... For the "Fitzie is our QB of the future" peoples... I'm not trying to pick a fight, but just state the obvious.... Unlike, Fitzpatrick...I'm not a Harvard graduate! I'm an average joe, with an average IQ! But, I am smart enough to tell you he is not a good QB--and for a good time, I challenge those people who think "Fitz is the QB of the future" to look into his win-loss record as a starting QB--it's horrendous! Yes, he's played primarily on the Bengals and Bills...but, his win-loss record is a good start at realizing he isn't that good! I'm on my phone typing this, but if I recall he has a record similar to that of a QB--who shouldn't be a starting QB--anywhere! When it comes down to it...IF the reining interception leader of 2011 is still our starting QB in 2012--and into the future...expect the same results as we have all witnessed watching this team in the past 12 seasons--highs and lows, with no playoffs! I hope, Fitz and this organization can prove me wrong--but, based on results--I doubt it! BTW, the Buffalo Bills have an option of cutting Fitz in March, if they do...the Bills save face of the majority if Fitz's contract--only losing out on the 10 million signing bonus.
  5. I'm awaiting for everyone to call him, Futz or Putzpatrick
  6. Example of the success: First Place AFC East Bills' Ryan Fitzpatrick receives franchise QB money...after fast and impressive 5-2 start! Example of the failure: The Bills finish the season 6-10, 4th place in the AFC East, with franchise QB Ryan Fitzpatrick becoming 2011's interception leader! I still doubt Fitz will command this team in 2012!
  7. It's just speculation, but if he was somewhat healthier--we would've all heard the good news by now! Even if he plays a single down this year...will Peyton Manning, be Peyton Manning? As for the new Colts coach, I've read nothing but great things about him... Coached for the Ravens, Browns, Raiders...U of Miami, UNLV, USC, Boise & East Carolina
  8. Peyton is still not healthy...doubt he plays in 2012
  9. Plain and simple, we all saw Fitzpatrick peak...meaning the other 31 teams have figured out his weaknesses and know he can't throw over 30 yards. So, teams jam the WR at the line...Fitz panics...incomplete pass or interception
  10. I doubt the Bills will get a franchise QB anytime soon....this team still hasn't hit rock bottom to the point we can draft a franchise QB
  11. We found out the Buffalo Bills will not make the playoffs for 13+ years! Teams who excell in this league have... -great coaches who can draft a great gameplan -a franchise QB who can command a game and throw accurately over 30 yards -can draft and scout players -have some quality depth NOTICE: From top to bottom...this team has none of the above!
  12. It was bound to happen...the game has changed. With the pass-happy offenses now, teams who utilize the 3-4, have now experimented in 4-3 looks--and vice versa. As for the Bills, they still have vital players who have and/or have played in a 4-3. True, Edwards could be on his way out.
  13. Hit up the North Shore! The Famous Shrimp Trucks and Dole plantations
  14. I'm stoked! Going to LA in a few months to see them play.
  15. to the peeps who are bashing Atrobot, this post is about IF he falls...it's just speculation...NOT reality!
  16. Just a hunch SJ's contract will probably be incentive based...meaning he has to reach certain attainable goals! Example: No TD celebrations/excessive celebration penalties
  17. Interesting point! I'm interested in QB situation...except for Brady...the majority of the QBs playing in the playoffs this year and/or every year in the past...have been first round selections....Maybe, OBD should look into that someday! Maybe, someday...somewhere....the Bills will be in the playoffs again!?
  18. Out of every rookie interview I've read, I like this one... "What's your favorite NFL team growing up?" ...followed by... "Name a player on that team that has inspired you in your game." You would be surprised by the answer.
  19. I like your style, but Freddie's age alone won't garner him a first rounder...Now, 4th or a 5th would. Overall, Jackson will get a new contract and finish his career out as a Bill
  20. I haven't seen a mock with Richardson going to Cleveland, but I like it! If this happens, it would be a solid upgrade.
  21. I'd like to see Kellen Moore on this team. Moore could fit Gailey's scheme and is a proven winner...depends on where he falls in the draft.
  22. If the Bills part ways with Fitz within seven days of the 2012 calendar season, the Bills will only be 10mil into Fitz's deal--which would only be the bonus he already received. Bills could save some dough Free Agency brings a lot of hype. I remember reading all the posts about signing Albert Haynesworth--we didn't and the "Ralph is Cheap" posters came out in force! I'm not a GM, but if you screw up in FA...it costs your team in many ways, other than the bank! Best way is playing it the smart way.
