    The team has alot of similarities to the Ravens going with Dilfer, Big Ben starting for the Steelers and Seattle rolling with Wilson. Each team had a decent defense, qaulity special teams and dominated the post season in their first year with their respective team. (Dilfer signed with the Ravens in 2000 from TB, won the Super Bowl and moved onto Seattle in 2001.)

    People last season could see Fred might NOT be on this team after last season. Fan favorite? Yes! But, the game is a business and that business has a salary cap.

    Whaley at fault? No. That is his job to make decisions like that. The NFL is a business. It was obvious that a 34 year old vet, under 4 yards per carry in 2014, oft injured RB, who counts $2 million against the cap, be cut to save money to allocate to Dareus and others in 2015.
