  1. So Jauron's record as a coach proves that he likes to say nice things about mediocre players? I can't tell if you are taking a shot at Jauron's ability to conduct an interview or his ability to be a G.M. Either way, I don't follow your hypothesis.
  2. I agree 100% that the OL is scary thin. Trust me, if you and I are talking about it on TBD then the FO is also aware of it. I wouldn't read to much into Jauron's comments. No team representitive is going to tell it like it is, at least publicly. A head coach is always going to dance around a team's weakness and prop up a strength. This way he doesn't insult current players on his roster and create anymore doubt amongst fans. The FA ranks are pretty thin and trades aren't always easy. It looks like we will be filling the LG/C hole in the draft as well as more OL depth. It is not as bad as it sounds. In recent years the O-line seems to be a spot you can find immediate help in regards to the draft. This years crop seems to be rich in OL talent as well.
  3. Fair enough, my friend. If anything, you are always consistent in your views. I apoligize in advance, for a future childish attack on you. I am only human and you are just to hard to ignore. Right now, I've replenished my patience and you are free to spread your negative energy.
  4. I agree with your optimism. We have to play in NE at some point. Opening day is the best bet for the Bills, IMO. It will be Brady's first live action and that is alot better than midseason form. Opening day also allows the Bills coaching staff plenty of time to really organize a gameplan. I know that NE has that extra time as well but lets be honest, Jauron and company probably benefit more. NE doesn't have any gamefilm on what the Bills will be trying to do on offense either. The loss of Marshawn will be a factor but I believe in a fresh Freddie. The game is going to be greatly hyped and that should be an awesome stage for both teams. The Bills will be ready to play.
  5. Thank you! Magox is right, 1billsfan is zero substance and all negative. Many here have tried to debate with him and his responses usually are put downs, followed with this team is going to go 2-14. I don't feel bad for calling him out and neither should Deadstroke. He recognized the over the top dramatics after only 4 posts and said something. Good for him. This is were 1billsfan chimes in with how stupid we all are for buying into this team, even though nobody has said anything of the sort.
  6. My opinion is that fans who call for revoluitions against their favorite teams , are obnoxious and dramatic. Everyone here knows that no such revolution is going to take place, so save the rebellion talk for your star wars groups. Furthermore, everyone here is a Bills fan and aware of the teams struggles over the last decade. It only takes a shrivel of football understanding to know what goes into a NFL season. EVERY YEAR, a couple bottom of the barrel teams rise to be suprisingly competitive and turn the corner as a team. Whether you think that this is possible with the Bills is your opinion. I have my doubts like everyone else. Having doubts about the season and crying about how the Bills are going to be humiliated weak one, are two different things. The season is months away! Save your negativity and horsesh-- for closer to the game. Have the Bills been killed by NE repeatedly? YES Have Bills fans been some of the most resilient and loyal fans in the NFL? YES Do the Bills have a chance to win opening day? YES So in short, my opinion is that if you are already convinced that the Bills are going to be blownout on opening day, don't give yourself the name 1billsfan. It is embarrassing to Bills fans. Have some pride in your city/team and don't be such a pu$#y. I hate hearing weak fans announce the team has no chance, in March. Like I said, IMO this is the sign of a weak minded individual, who is always ready to quit.
  7. What does "4 posts in" have to do with anything? I didn't realize that you had to hit a certain number before you can give opinions. I guess your 900 and something posts gives you some sort of self worth you never had. Don't drive new members away because you have to prop yourself up. Besides the clown he was talking about is an embarrassment to Bills fans. Revolt? Are you kidding me? This guy is going to lead a revolt against the Bills FO? What a joke! The dude is already giving up on a game that's months away. Can you get any weaker?
  8. I agree with you for the most part. IMO, the Bills take the BPA out of 4 or 5 need positions. Last year was a perfect example. CB was not the biggest need the Bills had, in fact it was probably a couple positions down the list. Leodis was the best player available at 11 and they pulled the trigger. It's not a matter of exclusively drafting for need as much as it is a combination of BPA and need. Almost all teams draft this way.
  9. This shoulder injury is old news. Ralph sufferded the injury during an old fashioned arm wrestling match with Dick over contract negotiations. As a result of this match, Ralph lost the use of his right arm, Dick got extended, and Russ Brandon saw a hero fall.
  10. What is this pwned, I keep seeing? Is this some kind of cool internet lingo? I'm sorry but your "he's white" thumbs down joke is not all that funny. It's actually been repeated over and over and over again. So great job Rico, another quality contribution from a sh$tbag poster. Come up with a new routine, yours is quite used up.
  11. Don't take what's about to happen to you, to heart. Welcome to TBD.
  12. Keep your ignorance to yourself, Jer$off.
  13. I never said he" had to have been drinking" or he "had to have known he hit the girl". See that's what you do in order to spin your argument. I made the point that you continue to call people out for assuming things. At the same time your entire argument is one big assumption. 1. Nobody saw Marshawn drinking. You bring this gem up over and over again. Do you really think that the cops went through Chippewa and asked all patrons if they saw Marshawn drinking? Like I said in my other post, I don't know if he was or wasn't drinking. Neither do you. Assumption #1 2. You assume he didn't notice he ran over a girl in the street. WTF? A car full of passengers and a girl bounces off the front corner of the vehicle and no one notices. I don't know that they didn't notice but you assume they didn't. A far more ridiculous assumption on your part. Assumption #2 3.The cops pound on Marshawn's door and no one answers. You assume Marshawn didn't hear. Assumption #3 4. The cops tow Marshawn's vehicle out of his driveway and you assume again he doesn't notice. Assumption #4 5. Marshawn wakes up in the morning and finds his vehicle missing. You then say he calls his lawyer first before calling the police. Makes sense! Then you assume Marshawn is notified (that he ran over a girl) by someone that morning and is advied to keep quiet, about a routine accident. Assumption #5 Your entire story is one big assumption. I don't think you are foolish enough to believe this. I think you are either a homer to the extreme or you enjoy debating. Either way your argument is full of outlandish assumptions that you call facts.
  14. You bring up a good point. Thanks for weighing in!
  15. Schobel had his two most productive years in 2005 and 2006. His sack totals were 26 in that span and his tackles were also up in those seasons. Pat Williams last season in Buffalo was 2004 and his presence really didn't have much to do with Schobel's production. You make the claim that he has been mediocre for 3-4 seasons now. 2005-2008 Schobel- 53 games 33 1/2 sacks 200 tackles Peppers- 62 games 40 1/2 sacks 197 tackles That is pretty nice company, for a mediocre, slow, white, and undersized DE. Of course Schobel's sacks were all garbage time and Pepper's sacks won games. Besides he has never gotten consistent pressure, he just has gotten lucky alot. I am not trying to say Schobel is as good as Julius Peppers. I do however think it's sad that a mediocre franchise has fans that routinely bash one of it's only consistent players. I mean you called him useless and said he should be making 10 percent of what he's making now. IMO, some people need to take a step back for a minute and re-think alot of the things they so freely say on this board.
  16. VOR, you can't have it both ways. In order to even picture your wild scenario playing out we have to assume all sorts of ridiculous things. First we have to assume that Marshawn was out on Chippewa all night, and didn't partake in any drinking or other partying. This isn't impossible to picture in my mind, not likely but not impossible. We have to assume that no one in the vehicle noticed when it struck the pedestrian and given the schematics of the accident, highly unlikely. We have to assume that Marshawn didn't hear the cops pounding on his door. Keep in mind he is still sober. We have to assume he didn't notice or hear his vehicle being towed away. We also have to ignore the fact that he didn't come to the cops when he discovered his vehicle missing and refused to cooperate with the police on what you claim to be a routine accident. How do you have the ignorance to call somebody out on assumptions? Assuming Marshawn Lynch noticed hitting the girl with his car and fleed for a reason is alot less outlandish than what you choose to believe. Just be happy that the court system is set up in his favor on this one and you can root for him this year (at some point).
  17. I got yelled at by an older poster with subpar vision, and now I try to space it out a little.
  18. Here is your typical bandwagon answer. He's 31 and most likely has a few good years left. Since 2001 Schobel is second in the NFL in sacks. Only three seasons ago the guy had 14 freaking sacks! This is where the bandwagoners try to convince you that none of his 68 career sacks meant anything to the team. If you have any objectivenes in you, you will see that this is just a foolish argument, generated by the consistently negative few. This is the same type of fan who tells you A- ROD has never hit a meaningful homerun. The next logical place for a hater to try and rip schobel is his health. Haters will say that he is getting old and injury prone. Since when is 31 the age when DEs become ineffective? Injury prone? The guy hadn't missed a game until last year, this includes a string of 116 consecutive starts. So if you want to judge him on his first real injury (last year) or the fact that he had 6.5 sacks in 2007, go ahead. If you recall in 2007 most of us felt schobel was a one man show on the DL and also playing hurt (same injury). I think his body of work speaks for itself and he doesn't deserve the hatred he gets.
  19. I don't think the Cardinals are interested in trading Boldin. They have repeatedly said that they want him back and I'll be suprised if they don't find a way to make it happen. You can't blame the Bills for not making the impossible happen, especially since the whole league probably wants him. The Boldin trade hopes really shouldn't have anything to do with the TO aquisition.
  20. I'll back you, on this one Dean. Josh Reed is alot more versatile and complete than Galloway. Galloway had a nice career and was a number 1 WR at different points of his time in the NFL but he might not make the roster at this point.
  21. I watched the game as well and did see the bad decisionmaking on a handful of plays. I just think that Cutler's play gets ripped far too much. The guy comes across as someone that is easily disliked and many fans bash his play because of his personality. I don't see this juggernaut denver offense running without him either. Shanhan had alot of years to sprinkle his genius over Qbs since Elway and this kid finally made it work, again. Shanahan sings his praises every time he has a microphone in his face and thinks the kid has all-time talent. I've heard it repeated many times too. Josh McDaniels wanted his boy in town and is already on the hot seat before his first draft.
  22. Is this just a frustrated outburst?
  23. What did he do exactly, that makes you rate them some of the worst ever? I don't recall seeing him do anything that other qb's haven't done before him. Including all of the greats. It's a little nitpicky Dean. He made some bad throws, but they all do. Let's not get carried away.
