  1. OMG, beyond ridiculous. This guy could have subdued and handcuffed this women with ease and yet he chose to taser her. This is such a pathetic and cruel attack.
  2. "If Ted Kennedy drove a Volkswagen, he'd have been president" is a lame joke and not exactly appropriate by the standards you judge others. The quote itself doesn't bother me in the slightest, it's your double standard that is annoying. You are the first person to rip on other's opinions and yet you choose this topic to make light about? What kind of idiot is so obsessed with something like that? Seriously, get a grip and stop exposing how awkward you are. It is trully a retarded way to express your distain for Kennedy.
  3. He's fishing for a WEO.
  4. I don't think he was trying to say that the coaching has improved. I think he was saying that the overall team had improved from 07 to 08, turnovers aside. Judging by the statistics I wouldn't say a whole lot in any area but a little in each adds up. Whether or not you believe the team is getting better each season, TOs are record changing. The team can't afford to put the ball on the ground as much as they did last year.
  5. I may be the idiot who thought this was funny but at least I'm not a complete hypocrite and phony like you. I can't make light of a guy whacking off on an old ladies window sill but you can make a joke about Ted Kennedy killing a girl? In fact you dedicate your name to it and even keep those lame jokes up about it. Way to go loser, keep judging everyone else.
  6. False. The original poster did a great job of organizing stats and data. He then asked the most logical questions that related to that data. You have struggled through out this whole thread to mount a negative rebuttle and now you are trying to spin the point of the original post. When you get whipped in your usual embarassing fashion, you fallback on plan B and just put words in other peoples mouths. Show me one place that anyone said that "turnovers are the reason and that nothing else affected this teams success in 08". Just an all out smear campaign right BillsVet?
  7. Qb fumbles 2007 - 9 on 445 attempts Qb fumbles 2008 - 17 on 479 attempts How many of those fumbles were on the left side of the o-line? How many can be attributed to the Qbs holding the ball too long? I was suprised to see the Bills only attempted 34 more passes in 08. It seemed like they were pass happy last year. With only 34 more passes in 08 and 8 more fumbles, it's hard to blame the coaching. This is a case of bad execution by the players. Fred Jackson is also not the most secure player with the ball. I think he is a very good back but given his total carries he can't give it away 3 times.
  8. Unfortunately you are right Cat. The Jauron sucks crowd will certainly point to the Jets disaster and treat it like it cost us the playoffs. Drag out the same old drum and start beating it.
  9. I'm sure I'll get ripped for this but I thought Hole was a good band, despite my hatred for Courtney Love. I also think Beck has always been a good listen. I'm not sure if he fits the grunge category but early on he was in the ballpark.
  10. Excellent post. I have to believe that the TO differential is largely to blame for last years slide. The team was significantly better last year, and your statistics certainly support that. Some fans will downplay the gains and simply attribute it to a weaker schedule. I tend to think that the schedule hype is overrated. What is not overrated is divisional games and the AFC East has no cream puffs. It was the divisional games that broke our back last year and untimely turnovers was a large factor. If we protect the ball better in those games, the sentiment around here would be alot different. First off, I tend to agree with you that coaching in the NFL is grossly overrated. Peopel around here will try and convince you that Bellicheat could have made Losman a HOF. Don't get me wrong, coaching is extremely important but players win games. All the "great" coachs had "great" players. You don't win a superbowl with mediocre talent but you can certainly win one with mediocre coaching. I don't believe that the coaching staff can be blamed for the turnover difference. Especially considering that the real difference came from fumbles. At the NFL level it's not the coachs fault his players didn't wrap up the ball. I think the lack of turnovers created is mainly because of the lack of pressure. This team doesn't have enough bullets to mount a real attack. Mitchell is a decent blitzer but that's it. We can't create pressure from outside our D-line and we all know what that looks like. Lindell has been on the decline. In perfect conditions and within his range he's money. Unfortunately he doesn't see those conditions too often in Buffalo. I don't think he stinks but he is playing for his job this year. Can we win with him? YES Will he cost us late in the season in an important game? Probably If we can duplicate the 2007 turnover differential, this team will win more games. If they do that and continue overall improvement, we can start talking playoffs.
  11. You are not wrong at all. I wanted us to take Everette Brown as well, but that is not to say Byrd wasn't a good pick. No need to discredit one player who hasn't played a down to promote another player who hasn't played a down.
  12. 10 jerks and a squirt. I guess Josh Reed can be the squirt.
  13. How has this thread bred ignorance and stupidity?
  14. Marshawn probably at least knew he got slammed.
  15. Thanks Chuk, good find. I'm all for bringing in more players, especially on the lines. We might not be in dire need of DEs but we certainly aren't stacked either.
  16. Your right but that can be said about every position, even QB. If you could get dominant at five positions in this league, your going to be pretty good eitherway.
  17. This is great news! Our LBs could look like this opening day, COP OLB , POZ MLB , MITCH OLB. Solid!
  18. I agree with almost everything you say. Qb is still the most important position on the field. Ideally your plan is perfect. Build the lines and then bring in the skill players. However, if you have the ability to bring in a franchise Qb you do it, regardless of whether or not it fits your time table. The great NFL quarterbacks are what make teams into consistent winners. I also put a little more emphasis on finding that number 1 wideout as opposed to number one RB. My list: 1. QB 2. DE 3. WR 4. LT 5. DT
  19. Dick Jauron is ranked right where he belongs. He is 21-27 over the last three years and has coached a team that hasn't been a winner in quite some time. The AFC East is also a very tough division and home to the NFLs best team over the last decade. His performance as coach of the Bills is mediocre as is his ranking.
  20. Mike Mularkey is one of the hottest offensive coordinators in the league right now. He has positioned himself to be a hot HC canidate again. Yes he's seen success. Greg Williams interviewed for a headcoahing position last year and you are stating that he will NEVER be a head coach again? Williams is supposedly a pain the azz but he is a very good coordinator and never without a job. These guys are still young and will get another opportunity. I know it's nice to envision all former coachs as complete failures but please be realistic.
  21. Jeff Fisher is an interesting example. He has five losing seasons, six winning seasons, and four 8-8 seasons. In his first three years with Tennsssee he went 8-8 each season. The next season was his first winning one and he went 13-3, losing to the Rams in the superbowl.
  22. I hope you go two for two as well. At this point it takes a strong opinion to make that prediction and I can respect that. I always think this board is more interesting when posters draw their own conclusions, as opposed to just repeating the same jokes.
  23. Why is that? One guy is 48 and the other is 51. Both are considered top coordinators in the NFL and have HC experience. Hell Greggo was close to being the Washington Redskins head coach in 2008 as he interviewed four times with them. His difficult personality is the only thing slowing him down but it won't matter to someone. As for Mularkey, he is on fire right now and will be a commodity again soon.
  24. About as much sense as trying to evaluate our OC and coach with subpar Qb play. The point I was trying to make is that fans need to start holding the players as accountable as the coaching staff. The blame shouldn't begin and end with the coach. I have no problem with giving Jauron his share of the blame but don't put the blinders on for the rest of the team. Championship caliber shouldn't be used to describe any player on this roster not named TO. It certainly shouldn't be used to describe a Qb who is playing for his job this year. I see you still have hard feelings over the Jay Cutler discussions. I actually dislike Cutler, but can still maintain integrity when comparing him and Edwards. Edwards has been putting in the extra time this offseason and I know he wants to improve. I hope he does.
