Greatest TV or Movie Character of Last 20 Years
PushthePile replied to /dev/null's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I can agree with that too. How about that kid from "Home Alone"? I'm not saying that kid changed my life but his character is immediately recognized and I think he deserves to be on this list alot more than the guy from some video game. -

I can agree with that. De Caprio has had a ton of better roles but this an Entertainment Weekly list. Obviously TSW isn't going to rate Titanic very well. -

Yeah I agree but the movie's popularity speaks for itself. Someone out there must like Jack and Rose more than Gorillaz the animated rock band. What is that even doing on the list? -

Brutal list, IMO. It's not one of my favorites but how do you not include something from Titanic? Forrest Gump is at 31 and Buffy is at 3? -

A good sex question for everyone

I love how this topic has such a wide array of answers. When asked why he likes 18-20 range of girls, this was his top reasons. 1. Hotter 2. Looking to have fun and not settle down 3. Don't care about bank account 4. Not fully engulfed in the bar scene and binge drinking. He says he is sick of going out all the time. 5. He enjoys their insignificant life problems and lack of baggage Interesting points but some are questionable. -

I think that sums it up nicely but a suprising number of guys are cool with it. I'm not sure if it's the majority or not. -

I agree with you 100 percent. An 18 year old doesn't know how to be sexy so they try and compensate by having bad sex. Truthfully, not everyone sees it that way. -

This was the consensus of alot of the group. Does your rule have a limit though? What if the 18 year old wanted to sleep with a 50 year old? -

This question did come up in the discussion. What if she wasn't hot at all? What if she was flat chested, had braces, and looked 15? -

I'm 30 years old and recently married, so this question isn't really for me but I find the topic interesting. I have recently spent some time discussing with friends whether or not a guy we know should sleep with an eighteen year old girl. He is 32 and believes that it is not a big deal. I'm not 100 percent sure if it is or isn't. Personally, i think it's a little creepy but we went back and forth with some decent points on the subject. So I pose this question to the forum. At what age would you consider too old for sex with an eighteen year old? This discussion spun off into various other scenarios. We all know some 18 year olds look 25 but what if the 32 year old is sleeping with an 18 year old that looks 15? What if the 18 year old is male and the 32 year old is female? What if 32 year old not just sleeps with a 18 but aggressively pursues them? Is there a difference between one time and a guy that prefers them that young? I know what the law says, I'm just curious as to what you feel is taboo. How old?

I think society is filled with influences that could further damage an unstable mind. I don't blame MMA specifically for the breakdown of this guys mental capacity. I think its more accurate to say that certain individuals with violent tendencies and instability might be more attracted to different lifestyles. I know a handful of Marines who are just violent people. I'm not saying that they would be out performing heart surgery on citizens but they would certainly have their issues functioning in the real world. It's not patriotism that prompts them to come home from a deployment and immediately look to transfer to the first available unit on it's way out. My point is it's a combination of things. You are probably right about MMA rewarding violence and further damaging this guy. The sport also most likely provided him with a culture that he could blend into and mask his issues. My further point, is that this guy goes somewhere else if it wasn't MMA and eventually has serious problems. Whether it's military, law enforcement, crime, another contact sport, or any number of other professions, he's snapping somewhere along the way. Horror stories like this happen in all walks of life but the attraction to some lifestyles is obvious.

Slick driving indeed. Anything but that maneuver and that SUV gets pinned under the truck.

1. Treat every weapon as if it were loaded. 2. Never point your weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot. 3. Keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you intend to fire. 4. Keep your weapon on safe until you intend to fire. If you manage to just follow one of these rules, you will never accidentally smoke your buddy.

Patrick Crayton requesting release from 'Boys

IMO, Crayton would be a significant upgrade to our WRs, I think he instantly becomes the number 2 guy. On the otherhand I don't think Roscoe makes the team. -

I really don't think it was a move to sell tickets. A big name QB would have sold alot more tickets than Spiller and they had two chances at that. IMO, other than Spiller they went with players the casual college fan might not even recognize. I actually like Graham alot as well. In my mind I had a list of 3 or 4 players I would have been okay with. CJ Spiller was one of the players I felt was close to a sure thing and from what I read he seemed to be a undisputed top ten pick. I liked Spiller, Graham, McClain, and Okung. I felt we had a good chance of landing one of those players. IMO, we knew how the top 5 to 6 picks were going to go. I really didn't want any of the QBs, Anthony Davis, Bryan Bulaga, Derrick Morgan, or Jason Pierre Paul. I honestly believe we got the best player available. -

Dude was thrown 100 feet from his bike. I'm going to believe the witnesses in this case. Motorcycles are cool but they certainly raise the level of danger to all motorists. -

I wasn't kissing Bandits ass at all. I'm just not a fan of blank assumptions and falsifying what others have said. Bandit doesn't need any help taking you behind the woodshed. Arguments that incorporate research and fact, always clobber the ones that are based on someone's emotions. -
Yes, we've heard this spin a million times. Good players could never get it done in Buffalo. I suppose Hardy would have torn it up in Philly, huh?

Using primary resources on anything but the best player available is what should scare you. Large bodied players can turn into busts too. I'll never understand why some fans think there is only one way to build a team. It's not like the o-line was the only missing link over the last 10 years. The Bills have been weak at various different positions for quite some time now and that is attributed to many reasons. Getting the best players available will turn this around, not getting the biggest players. If they happen to be big, great. In the case of this year's draft, the Bills thought the best football player was a RB. I don't see much in the way of a decent argument contesting that. Who did you want Bill?
