  1. Give it to me straight Bufforange or anyone else. I'm in a half a point per reception leaugue, with standard scoring. Qb RB RB WR WR Flex TE DEF Kicker Tom Brady David Garrard Michael Turner Pierre Thiomas Felix Jones Lesean McCoy Jerious Norwood Michael Bush Greg Jennings Eddie Royal Domenick Hixon Nate Washington Troy Williamson Antonio Gates Giants Defense Nick Folk I'm also in another draft monday night and would love a few strategy ideas. I'm drafting from the 9 spot in a 12 team PPR league. I'm honestly thinking about going WR with both of my first picks. I would love to land a combo of two guys like C. Johnson, A. Johnson, Moss, or Fitzgerald. Coming back in the third I'd be hoping for Kevin Smith, Ronnie Brown, or Addai. In the fourth I would take best player available regardless of position.
  2. Most convicted felons don't stroll out of the pen and land ANOTHER huge sum of money. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve to get what he can, but lets not act like he picked himself back up by the boot straps.
  3. I wish our players didn't forget to cycle. I'm sick of unersized DE's,pencil legged LBs, and our frequently pancaked o-linemen.
  4. I am strangely satisfied with my completion of this and can go to bed a happy man.
  5. Glad to know that the Bengals can afford to screw off in the pre-season. Oh wait, it's ochodelstinko and everything he does is hilarious. Thanks for the laughs Bungles.
  6. How many par 3s did Jauron choose to layup on? Does he even carry a driver? I bet he "goes for it" with a 5-iron.
  7. You can eat healthy at a comparable price if you want to. Chicken breast is only one example of an inexpensive alternative. How about tuna fish, eggs, salad, wheat bread, orandge juice, milk, some fruits, and some veggies. Their are also a whole assortment of microwave options that are way healthier and equal in price to the pizza. How about cheerios or oatmeal instead of Lucky Charms and Count Chocula. The majority of overweight people have themselves to blame. It is pure laziness and lack of discipline. Who the hell doesn't know that fast food and ice cream aren't bad for you? I'm not buying it. When posed with the choice of healthy living or gluttony, many choose gluttony. Some people would rather live, eating whatever they want to. The best tasting foods are often bad for you. I like many others have gone a little to far at times and had to get back on track. The severely obese don't have the discipline or interest in some cases.
  8. HaHaHaHa!!! So true and so upsetting.
  9. Excellent post. I don't agree with all of it but it's a good summary of the situation.
  10. IMO, you grab your favorite RB at 3. I think their is a dropoff at the position after Peterson, Turner, Forte, and MJD. On the way back through I'm most likely taking WRs or a QB. Usually the top-tier backs are already scooped up. It's not worth taking the 18th best RB over a top ten WR, especially in a league that rewards receptions. By the time everyone starts to focus on WR, you will be ahead of the game and can target a TE or high risk/high reward RBs. That's my plan at least.
  11. 4 game sweep in N.Y. means division lead swells to 6.5 games. Boston needs to start worrying about the wildcard.
  12. It's foolish to think you can tell who a person is by looking at a picture. Obviously this guy is long gone but no one would be able to confirm that by looking at him. The skinny/fat thing has nothing to do with who he is either. I don't get that reference.
  13. Call him what you want. I like the kid.
  14. Favorites: Big Ben, Drew Brees, Brady Quinn, and Pat White Least: Daunte Culpepper, Matt Leinart, Tom Brady, and Phillip Rivers
  15. That is a good read. Thanks. I stand corrected!
  16. I think its fairly disturbing. I honestly don't know whether or not he broke SOPs. It seems to be a bit much. What do you do if you need to search a female (no underwear as well)? Was a female police officer available? Is it practical to have one available at all times? I'd be furious if that was a significant other. He can thank his buddies stupid comment for making his case that much tougher.
  17. Profession usually means a professional is present. A professional what is the real question.
  18. Semper Fi! I hope you won more than you lost.
  19. I know what you mean, buddy! You get one too.
  20. You are correct but you can't deny the absolute abuse of the system we have seen over the years. I don't know if this girl has a legit case or not but it smells of BS to me. I reserve the right to make hasty decisions on Bills message boards, as my opinion doen't matter in the slightest. I fully admit to not having any facts but it seems awfully weak on the surface.
  21. Come on, chickens? I think it's sad that anybody has to feel the need to carry a gun. Whether it's for fear or credibility it's just plain sad. It should be punished accordingly without any regards to race. (unlicensed)
  22. I'm not trying to play the race card. I just think that white folks and black folks can sometimes view things from different perspectives. I'm not advocating one side or the other. Do you see any difference in the way Rothlisburger and Kobe Bryant have been treated? Do you see any difference in the way Vick is viewed at times? Unfortunately, it's always present in some form or another. I don't like to pinpoint individuals without solid evidence though, as in the case of the cop. I could be wrong but I think the NFL is very aware of how each event effects it's image. The NBA is a great example of this, IMO. The NBA is really coming on strong in cleaning up its image.
  23. I think the country is very different. I like to think race relations are better now but I'm not so sure. In terms of crime and violence? Unfortunately it is worse now. Over the past decade? Not much. Over the history of the NFL like you said. Yes
