  1. That makes perfect sense. Never knew how that worked, thank you.
  2. I was being sarcastic my friend. Every time a young Bills player is scrutinized, the same Moulds and Smith comments come flooding in. I just think it's shortsighted to ignore a players progress early because of an imaginitive bust time frame. I agree Derrick Harvey is brutal.
  3. Not that they would want too, but why couldn't he come in and throw a bomb at the end of the first half?
  4. Bruce Smith and Eric Moulds say hi. Oh wait he's not a Bill, Buuuuusssssssstttttttt!!!!!!!!!
  5. It should have said Chris Johnson says hi.
  6. Probably the most ridiculous thing I have ever read here and that says alot. I suppose you think Lynch is the next coming of Walter Payton and Poz is L.T. in his prime.
  7. Perfect, because our first round safety doesn't.
  8. Rodgers- 2444 yards 17 tds 5 int 101.8 rating 229 rush yards with 3 rushing tds Manning- 2872 yards 20 tds 7 int 104.2 rating 0 rush yards Yeah he's having a terrible season.
  9. Demetrius Bell? WW 1 shell shocked? These are your answers to the gigantic difference in how these two QBs handle pressure? TE is getting sacked close to 4 times as often as Fitz, behind that same o-line.
  10. Spot on Kelly. Let the rollercoaster begin!
  11. How can anyone definatively argue one way or another? What goes on behind closed doors is not always fed to the media. The OP put forth a good piece of speculation and it certainly seems possible. At the same time it is still speculation and not fact. IMO it's a combination of alot of factors already covered. A few players have shown their frustration with TE. I'm willing to bet it's a very watered down version of what is going on in the lockerroom. As sad as it is, Fitz might actually give the team a better chance to win, if ever so slightly. He takes far less sacks and has been equally ineffective moving the chains. A defensive minded interim coach is looking to just get his players to play hard. If they want Fitz and his brand of terrible is a little less damaging, why not?
  12. I take it she got the job.
  13. I guess he actually went back, looked at the tape, and went from there.
  14. A very good point. I have no argument with that. I believe that our o-line has put a huge dent into many of our young QBs learning process.
  15. No hard feelings buddy! Had rough week and been an !@#$ myself.
  16. Edwards play deteriorates because he is inconsistent. I mean if you really want to analyze the situation look no further than our 2 QBs. Edwards 21 sacks on 109 attempts Fitzpatrick 4 sacks on 77 attempts The proof is in the pudding Rabbit. Neither guy is good but at least one of them has the instincts to get rid of the freaking ball. A quality QB feels the pressure but continues to scan the field and releases at the last moment. Fitz can do one of those things and TE struggles with both. The o-line must be fighting harder for Fitz right?
  17. Joe Montana in Kansas City is not even close to Joe Montana in San Fran. He was a shell of the player he once was. I took the time to look up the stats on "ole jim" in KC. It turns out he took far less sacks in KC as he did in San Fran, while posting some of his career high attempts. Kind of puts a damper on your theory. The truth is Montana was old and couldn't take the hits anymore.
  18. Come on Thurman, player rankings? That is worth less than Madden rankings. How did they rank our two rookie guards without an NFL snap? Green Bay is having a much worse time blocking than us. They can't run the ball either.
  19. You never remember correctly and have proven your inability to have a normal discussion again. You seem like a nice guy but the routine is getting old.
  20. Yes and a good backup can give you a game here and there if needed.
  21. Really dog you swoon over TE in every thread and he continues to make you look like a clown. This thread was started to discuss the way a good QB would have performed behind this line. It was inevitable TE was going to be brought up.
  22. They are still very much in the playoff hunt, despite that horrid line. Aaron Rodgers is lighting it up still this year, despite that horrid line. Get it? Yes a better o-line would make any team better but that point is not being disputed nor is it relevant in this thread. Keep making it over and over though. The Pack has been able to score but they can't run the ball. A great RB is not like a great QB, IMO. A RB can't make it work consistently behind a crap o-line. Aaron Rodgers is the biggest reason that team is remotely competitive.
  23. Why can't people just admit JP and Trent stink? Yes the coaching staff has been brutal but are these players so fragile that they can't ever be saved? The answer is no. They aren't talented enough and they would have been exposed with any coach. JP is playing where he belongs and Trent would make a decent backup for a secure starter.
  24. Have you seen the Pack play this year? Your analysis of the situation in Green Bay couldn't be more foolish. Undefeated?
  25. Rabbit you are missing the point. I'm not sure how because it has been spelled out clearly for you repeatedly. Cassel is a trainwreck of a QB. He made a decent offensive line look awful last year (47 sacks). Brady is a great QB and has made that same line look great again. A good QB does wonders for a o-line. A good QB this year for the Bills would have made a huge difference in helping our inexperienced line. Rodgers has been under major pressure this year. His line is awful and he still holds the ball too long. Somehow he has produced at the same level as the games best anyway. The point is a good line is undoubtedly important but a great Qb is still capable of making it work. The league has numerous guys who could have made the Bills offense go this year.
