  1. Snyder has been accused of meddling quite a bit too http://content.usatoday.com/communities/th...orn-to-resign/1 you can actually find a ton of these stories
  2. Jerry Jones says that he decides who plays http://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2009/10...that-he-decides
  3. Seems like a plan to me. The quarterbacks are overrated and another 1st round Qb bust would bury this franchise.
  4. Flingon you are a goof. You call me out on Cutler but don't have the stones to admit your error on Edwards? Keep your 40 time nonsense, I'll take the guy who just makes plays. Donte has never been anything but mariginal and is often physically ineffective. I don't need to get in this argument with you, the thread is full of hardcore Bills fans who feel the same way. I'll take their word over yours every day of the week and twice on Sunday. On a sidenote Cutler is still starting and your boy can't beat out Ryan Fitzpatrick. Player analysis hasn't been your strength, now or in the past.
  5. If the national view of Whitner is as high as yours, trading him would be a must. He is an average player and doesn't do anything special. He is no where near as good in run support as you say. Whitner actually makes zero gamechanging plays and has had alot of oppurtunity to prove that wrong. Scott and Wilson aren't as highly touted in your magazines because no one outside of Buffalo knows who they are. You claim Scott is too slow to play safety yet his coaches have felt comfortable enough to start him 40+ times at the position. Yes, Whitner is faster but he is faster than alot of superior football players. I don't see Donte's measurables translating onto the field. Best SS on the roster? What are you basing this on? I'll gladly give up a shred of speed for a football player that fills a lane and makes a tackle. Scott gives this team that. George Wilson might not be better than Whitner but he is not inferior. To me that says alot considering where these guys have come from. I don't dislike Whitner and it's not his fault where he was drafted but he is very expendable.
  6. Sounds good to me, he needs to be on the field. Rico might be right about Whitner.
  7. You don't know that. Besides Scott's natural position is safety. People keep saying that this whole thing is getting blown up. What does that mean exactly? A few guys get moved and a few get cut? Big deal. That happens every year.
  8. I heard he refused an interview because he wasn't the first choice.
  9. Watch the reaction this board has, if we get Haslett. You can't tease this fanbase with Shanny and others. It's like waving a steak under the nose of a starving man and taking it away. They made the choice to let it out or it was negligence. They own it now.
  10. It wouldn't be good marketing. In fact it would be a huge blow to marketing if they don't deliver with a big coach at this point. I think the leaks are just that, loose lips and bad security within the organization. It could prove to be very embarassing for the team. The Bills love to market whatever they can but rarely do they market something they don't have. We didn't hear anything about TO until it was a done deal. They haven't leaked big name coaches in the past. I just think a few weak links have exposed their hand.
  11. Wow Chef you are one cool customer. I'm not familiar with many of those artists but I love that number three. I never knew who performed it though. I'm thankful for http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35PszIGdWAE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VC_5IV9SOg
  12. Yup, I was just saying the same thing earlier today. Sorry Adam but the only thing shocking is that you got a record deal. Two guys kissing? Why is it even reported anymore? It's shock value wore off about 30 musicians, 15 t.v. shows, and 20 movies ago.
  13. The Bills quietly have a few playmakers on defense. I'd love to see a real open competition and evaluation of these guys.
  14. Yes he did. I agree dog, the D should be proud of their season. They have their shortcomings but given the circumstances, they have done well.
  15. Forgot to mention the plays he made at the LOS or in the backfield.
  16. I'm not sure if it has been mentioned but Bryan Scott had a hell of a game this weekend. I really think his performance has been lost in all of the other stories surrounding that game and the state of the franchise. Scott might not be the long term answer at LB but he is an absolute gamer. IMO, it's a must that this guy gets a nice chunk of playing time next year as well. It's not the first time he has showed up big for the team but it might be his best game yet. I meant to mention it before now but got caught up with so much else that is going on with the team. Anyway, I'm impressed with this guys play and his versatility. This weekend he accounted for 10 tackles all solo, 1 sack, 1forced fumble, and one pass deflection into the arms of George Wilson. Again, it's doubtful that he is the longterm OLB answer given his size, but this guy makes plays.
  17. I agree both acts are pathetic.
  18. Exactly right nucci. The Tampa-2 requires rare abilities from a number of positions.
  19. What are you talking about? I said that Young has played well so far this season. I was supporting his improvement and defending the fact that someone can be very good without being a HOFer, and yes I feel comfortable saying he is not a HOF player. The only reason the HOF was brought up was because Young was being compared to Brady, Manning, and Brees. Not sure where you get Young's bio?
  20. If the story is accurate, there is nothing borderline about it. I think swamp was saying that assault and vandalism are not even close.
  21. Agreed completely. Manning, Brady, and Brees are HOF quarterbacks and obviously Young is not. Young is however getting it done and winning. He is not just along for the ride either, he is the difference. The shortsighted simpletons of the board will point out that he is not Manning. As if the two categories of QBs are HOF and complete bust. The guy is playing very well right now and has been playing within his talents. Kerry Collins should be proud.
  22. Fisher is not getting fired, no chance.
  23. Sure, 10 million over twenty years.
  24. Bill Parcells likes to take on "projects" and turn them around. Of course his definition of a project is not really what we got going here. Parcells "project" rules 1. Good foundation of young players with emphasis on the lines, already in place 2. Owner willing to spend whatever it takes to win 3. Complete control of that cash and all personnel choices 4. Surplus of draft picks and cap space Bill is very good at identifying teams that are closer than they appear to winning. His career achievements have allowed him to be as selective as he wants. This is no slight on his work but more of an observation on how he chooses his situations. I don't see Buffalo fitting his criteria but would feel much better about the teams situation if he came here. In fact if any of the big coaches choose Buffalo I'll be pretty fired up. It would mean an expert sees more in this team than I do.
  25. Agreed. I've gone after Poz alot this year but this was a very good week for him.
