  1. Thanks It's not too bad of a list. I agree though, a few questionable choices. Why are we subjected to a constant attempt at making Serena Williams sexy? Personally, I think Venus is the prettier of the two and that's not saying much. Serena looks like Anthony Mason with boobs.
  2. That's a dangerous way of thinking my friend.
  3. The Bills brothers on WHAM in Rochester, said he got sick practicing outside. Take it FWIW.
  4. Come on, where are the "Midnight Cowboy" fans? Ratso and Joe Buck are a classic duo.
  5. Random thoughts from today: -Kawika Mitchell's twitter comments are an embarrasment to the team. I like how he says "from now on it will be handled in the clubhouse". Right Mitchell, because you didn't just rip a new teammate publicly. There are no leaders on this team. -Jerry Jones is going to make alot of bold moves this offseason. He just built that football mecca and it isn't going the way he planned. Nobody does it like the Yankees! -The Arizona Cardinals are going to let Boldin go and it won't be all that bad. Breaston and Doucet are on the verge of breaking out. -Trent Edwards should replace Jim Sorgi. Sorgi has made enough money in the easiest position the NFL has ever known. Besides Trent is smart enough to assist Peyton and he could extend his career. Not likely though because Peyton loves Sorgi. -IMO, the tightend position is not a top need for once this offseason. Nelson has shown flashes and I think Schouman looked really good pre-injury.
  6. - I am also terrified the Bills reach for a first round QB. They need to resist the urge and concentrate on the lines. I think a franchise QB is the most important piece of the puzzle but I don't see one available. - The d-line is definately getting long in the tooth. It would have also been a trainwreck if the injury bug got to a few players. Both lines need to be supplanted with quality bodies. - I don't see it working in Toronto but I hope you're right. - It would be a great show if they both met undefeated, but it can't happen because I like Philly. - True but it's fair to hate the way someone performs.
  7. I agree with you. Chris Henry was more of a wannabe thug. The majority of his offenses were alcohol and drug related, with a few fights mixed in. His worst was an aggravated assault with a firearm and concealed weapons charges in Orlando 2006. I'm not happy the guy died but he certainly wasn't a good person. It is too bad for his loved ones, because even bad guys have families.
  8. Good read, thanks. It really sheds a light as to what Jones is up against. It also gives perspective to how tough it is to create an elite program.
  9. This was your first post in the thread. If you had put forth any effort to read the original post you would have realized i agree with you. Instead you took the low road and went off for no reason.
  10. -who do you want at qb? -Plenty of first time head coaches have had success. The Bills have missed on all types of coaches -I like Philly because they have already proved to me they can get it done in the playoffs. They remind me of the Bills superbowl teams.
  11. Right because Pittsburgh and Arizona are obviously unbeatable this year. Besides Minnesota has proven themselves year after year to be great in the postseason.
  12. Don't get all pissy now. You were the one that was too stupid to figure out the obvious.
  13. It's called sarcasm you moron. Don't you see the correlation to Brian Kelly and ND?
  14. -That made me laugh. I just think TO could have had a very good season in another situation. You are probably right on the "elite" label. -NO barely squeaked by Wash, Miami, and the Chris Redman led Falcons. Minnesota has shown they are more than capable of being beat. In fact, Childress has had plenty of shaky moments in big games. I just have a hunch that if anyone could pull an upset, it would be Philly.
  15. Nobody said he would be great in Buffalo. What QB free agent isn't going to be a castoff? This team needs to bring in a handful of QBs to compete. Perhaps, you know of a surefire starter we can plug into the starting lineup for the next ten years. Enlighten us Jimmy, you never hesitate to shoot down others ideas.
  16. Where is the outrage? This is the second time Cincy has done this to Central Michigan. Butch Jones has taken the job at Cincy and is not going to be present for Central Michigans bowl game. Sounds familiar right? http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/news...p&type=lgns I do feel bad for the kids and it's a shame that college football has made this the norm. I do find the double standard amusing though.
  17. I think Campbell is fairly seasoned for a 5 year vet. If he can withstand the Washington scrutiny, he'd be more than comfortable in Buffalo.
  18. My vote goes to Orakpo. He is just a gamechanger and somebody teams have to focus on. Cushing and Byrd are both having great seasons though.
  19. I am all for Vick being allowed to play football again but the things you pointed out are consequences not proof of remorse. I have serious doubts about whether or not the guy is remorseful. It's not just the dogs either. The guy has knowingly given herpes to numerous women, even using a false name to continue the VD spree. He showed up to prison not being able to pass a drug test. His vehicles have been involved in drug trafficking. A whole assortment of crimes have been comitted by his entourage with him present. He had a handful of undisclosed problems in college. Even now when he is supposed to be repairing his image, he blows off charity events. I don't think saying your sorry should negate a whole history of no respect for others. He did his time and payed his debt to society and thats good enough. Let's not pretend he's a good guy. The man is scumbag inside and he will be back doing what he's best at again. Other than that, the guy was a running QB and that doesn't work long term in this league. He was good enough to win on a good Atlanta team but was never as good as advertised.
  20. I think Campbell has that potential too. I'm glad to see you and other posters above have an open mind towards Campbell. He has had his fair share of criticism, especially playing for a bad Washington team but a new situation could do wonders. Worth a chance, IMO.
  21. Great post. The rules have changed the way the game is played. I also agree with your observation about the Patriots. Brady to Welker is still pretty damn good but the team as whole is a far cry from where it's been.
  22. The season has taken it's toll on you buddy.
  23. Lol, I know the Campbell thing is tough to embrace.
