Late rounds? My guess is TKO in the third. Actually I have no problem with us taking a late RB. I was thinking of more of a speedster but wouldn't be opposed to Blount. I don't think he has a really extensive history of bad choices.

Smithers has the easiest job in the world. Buffalo is city that supports it's teams no matter what and TBD is just an example of that unconditional love. To be fair their best defensive player might be a DT on IR after 6 games. This team is built the way BillfromNYC likes and it is reaping the rewards. The fact that they have done this without Jenkins, without Washington, with a first year head coach, and rookie QB is nothing short of amazing. I can't imagine this defense with Kris Jenkins.

It was a professional courtesy in the case of Fewell. It's standard practice with most interim HCs but I do think Fewell was well liked around OBD. In the end, he would never have been accepted by Bills fans and I'm sure everyone involved knew this wasn't going to happen. The enire coaching staff was fired for a reason. The Bills don't deserve the benefit of the doubt anymore, for sure. Although, I could care less what the so-called national experts think of this organization. To the original posters point, the team is doing all they can to right the ship (if reports are true). In the end, I'll be happy with one of the hot coordinators, as long as Buddy makes the decision. If it's going to go badly again, at least a football mind will have screwed it up.

If we were going to make this move, we should have retained half our coaches. Tom Cable certainly would have punched one of them. My money would have been on AVP. He would have gone down faster than his offense on gameday.

It's impossible to start making legit lists. The NFL has had so many great players and using the term all-time is always going to leave quaified players out. IMO, players should be compared to players in their respective eras. Most of these lists are comprised of only QBs from the last 20-30 years.

College coaches aren't going to openly interview during recruiting season. Unless they know the job is theirs or plan on immediately turning it down. It completely compromises what they need to get done this time of year. It's very believable that Harbaugh had some kind of meeting or discussion with the Bills. It is also believable that he turned it down, he has turned down bigger college programs already. I think he genuinely likes Stanford. It wouldn't be much of a story, other than the fact the Bills have been turned down a couple times already. The combination of Harbough and the other rejections, does however make a story.
