  1. What would Brian Boitano do?
  2. Lived in the SF Bay area for~ 20 years. When he would come to Niners ad Raiders games, we would tailgate and wir\h him and get him the tickets to the game. First time I met him was in Phoenix 25 years ago. Did the bowling ball shot then. Also met him again twice in San Diego. Earlier than that, I may have been on the same plane as he was from Oakland to Seattle. I remember the flight crew asking the person who checked a bowling ball to coH He has a great memory. I went to Hammers lot at the Philly game about 5 yeats ago. I told him that I last met jim about 15-20 years ago in SF and Oakland. He says "weren't you in Biotech?".which I was cback then. He also attends the draft every year along with Mark Vader(from this board) and Cowgirls Fan (a Dallas fan also on this board). ... Good God almighty! which way do I steer...
  3. Gilliam. Bring back the Shake, Rattle, and Rolle play from the 90s. For the youngsters it was Kelly shaking it (faking it) to Thurman , having him rattle up the line and Butch Rolle go out for the pass. When we were on the one or two yard line and they brought in Rolle, you knew for a fact they were running that play. I believe one year all of his catches were for TDs except one.
  4. 2 ½ of the people in this photo are now dead.
  5. He did have heart surgery not too long ago.
  6. I hear that he doesn't do the condiments anymore late in the season (doctors orders).
  7. Even now at this minute, he is more intelligent than Biden.
  8. Have Dion brush up on his receiving this week.
  9. Amish Paradise would have been more fitting.
  10. No. J!...E!...T!...S! SUCK! SUCK! SUCK!
  11. They put Josh on twice! And he is still playing!😁😁😁 😁
  12. My brother or I mowed the lawn for years. My dad hung drywall in our house as we totally renovated it over 10 years. My brother replaced my mother's roof at least twice. Landscaping- see lawn mowing. Framig- my dad and cousin built our two car garage. Mom was home watching me, my sister, and then my brother. Not an illegal in sight.
  13. I saw him in a McDonald's over 30 tears ago. Lived in Bristol,CT about a quarter mile from ESPN. Could actually see it if I walked out to the street. I think he was interviewing for a job there and I wet into the Mc Donald's across the street. He then walked in.
  14. Bills vs Jets. Don't remember what year but probably in the 70s. Namath was playing. Don't think the Bills had a pas scompleted. Namath only competed maybe 3 with the first coming late in the 4th quarter. Was the remnants of a hurricane coming through. Not cold but even with ponchos tucked under your legs, we got soaked. Bills vs Browns. Late 80s I believe. Neither team scored more than 10 points. Upper 30s, rainy and windy. Bills vs Jets about 2 years ago. Last regular season game. No wind or snow, but game ended after it was dark. Was 5 degrees at the end of game. Just had to walk to Hammer's lot from that end zone, but it was so cold, my legs didn't want to work and I had to stop a couple times. After that one I vowed no more games after Halloween unless I could somehow sit in a box (I'm almost 68 now).
  15. From what I saw, no details or age listed.
  16. When in college, (drinking age was 18 then) a friend's parents would let us have a Christmas party at his house. Go to midnight mass at the church down the street, and then party. The drink I remember was Candy Canes- Just plain shots of peppermint schnaps.
  17. Broke at least one of his ribs. Back then home games were not on TV. A year later, we beat SD in SD 23-0. That game was the first time I had seen a color TV outside of a store. My uncle who worked at Chevy, had bought a color TV and invited everyone over to watch the game.
  18. Had a prof in Grad school that had a theory about DNA control mechanisms that I had never heard of before or since and I have a PhD now in Molecular Biology.. He was already in his 70s about 45 years ago. The papers he had us read were from the 60s. As long as you regurgitated what he taught in class, you were OK. Not me, but when I was at UB, a Sociology prof spent the whole semester talking about how he hated Ford (this was 1976) and how great Carter was . The students of all his classes signed a petition asking UB to not have him teach that class ever again. That made the Rectum (er Spectrum) the UB student paper. Also not me, but a friend took an intro to Statistics course. He had heard it was super easy. He never attended a class except to find out when exams were and got an A on the final. Had a good chemistry prof though. He write the book that the labs were in . One was we had to extract the oil from caraway seeds. Took several sessions but at the end the whole lab smelled like rye bread. Another one was to make luminol. At the end we had to go one at a time into the elevator (the only totally dark place in the building) and mix the two chemicals together and see if it glowed.
  19. I watch it on twitch.tv . That usually has videos of people gaming but at 8PM Thursday it has the TNF game. Never goes down. The .tv is Tuvalu which is i the Pacific, so it's not from the US. Even for freest wasn't worth it.
  20. Didn't turn off the link fast enough. The crew could barely be heard over the fans yelling "Sell the team!"
  21. Wonderful Christmas memory.
  22. Every time I hear that tune I think of this.
