  1. My sister live off of East & West (by the water tower) near the intersection of Transit and Southwestern. The way I mentioned was the way we went to the games when we had seasons. Would leave her house about 9:30 and get out the grill by 10 AM.
  2. I replied to you a week or two ago that the dems say the same thing every 4 years and the result is the same.
  3. Her brother-in law (the trooper) tazed his 11 year old son (her nephew) and threatened her Father when he said he was going to help pay for a lawyer for her sister. Here's an article
  4. Which lot? If you are going to Lot 1 (near Hammer' s Lot and Pinto Ken's big tailgate at Lot1 Pole 5): Take 20 down to 240/277,. Take that to "downtown" OP and turn right onto 20A (Big Tree) . Keep going past the highway (219) and the entrance to Lot1 will be on the right. If Southwestern is backed up to the big curve (where it changes from Transit to Southwestern) you can take the backroads straight to 20 A The route you gave takes you to the north side of the stadium and and from the messages on this thread, the road work is between California Rd and the Stadium on 20 (Southwestern).
  5. The dems brought this stealing of their thunder on themselves. The Republicans set the date for their convention and then the dems thought "Let's set ours just beore theirs so we can grab the limelight first." Look just at this board. This thread has twice the replies as the Messiah speech one.
  6. I would, but my car would get keyed or its windows smashed. I live in the "tolerant" SF Bay area.
  7. I'm waiting for a reporter to ask her if she ever thought about aborting her newborn son Trig (he has Downs Syndrome for those of you who didn't know). Also Trig is named after his great uncle.
  8. She's a lot better looking than Hillary!
  9. By saying that she is inexperienced, it just puts the spotlight on the Messiah's inexperience. She is the VP candidate, not the Pres.
  10. The SF Chronicle said he was a popular talk show host. Yeah, he was so popular that he had the 10 PM-1 AM shift. after he was bounced from the 7-10 spot. He got that spot because the guy who had it before him committed suicide off the Golden Gate when a scandal with fake sports memorbelia came to light. The station had roundtables every six months that they had to stop when Ward started arguing and almost coming to blows with other people on the station. He must of had some similar type dirt on someone at the station because I was always wondering why they didn't can his fat ass long ago.
  11. Already thought of before. When I was at UB in the late 70s the Rectum (Spectrum) had articles about designs for the Amherst campus that were not used. One was to make the whole campus a giant step pyramid with the office of head of the University on the top. It gained traction until they did calculations that it would sink in the ground. The Amherst campus was a swamp. That's how the state got so much land so easily.
  12. Where he voted 150 times as "present" (= abstain). Great way to take a stand for your principles. He served 150 days as a US senator before he ran for Pres. Great choice as we see all the libs crawling out from under their rocks to add their two cents today.
  13. What happened during the Messiahs epistle tonight? Was there a secret message for teens to go and post without using the caps key? Nice to know you all have your Little Orphan Annie decoders. Drink your Ovaltine!
  14. No, they just drank the grape Kool-Aid with a hint of burnt almonds at the gates.
  15. There were reports of guys with black suits at Romney's house. They could be Mormon missionaries!
  16. Tasker said it looked like he took a knee to the head on that sack.
  17. Forgot more stuff with the Mustang. In the winter of 78-79 I could get the door open in the morning but it lacked lubrication and would stick open. I had to tie the door shut and drive from Cheektowaga to the UB Amherst campus. Once I had both doors tied shut!
  18. It's Kid's Day- showing the Messiah would be child abuse!
  19. BHO is not fit to even carry MLK's jock strap. MLK was a republican. Remember the main people that were opposing civil rights in 1963 were Al Gore Sr., Robert Byrd and William Fullbright. All dems.
  20. 1968 Ford Mustang- Bought on ST. Pat's day 1978. Had until 1979. Towed to the junkyard. Almost rusted in half. Had a hole in the floor behind the driver's seat and it cracks started traveling over the transmission hump. 1973 Chevy Malibu. Had from 1979-1983. Went to the junkyard. Blew the piston rings. Also I had to store the jack in the rear seat as there was no floor whatsoever in the trunk when I junked it. Could see the whole gas tank. A girfriend of mine in the 70s told me about the time she was driving her brother's Ford Falcon. She stopped at a stop sign and heard a tremendous thud and crash. The motor mounts had rusted out and the transmission and motor had fallen out of the car!
  21. Not as much as Chelsea at the DKE parties at Stanford (info came from a DKE member).
  22. More enlightened politicians in Buffalo. When are they going to learn? Probably when the last burnt out building is bulldozed and the whole area is a vacant plain.
