Never been there but know where it is. In Livermore, (much closer to Dante and me) is Wente Winery. It is not a permanent setup like Mountain Winery, but they set up tables and you have a meal and a concert. Coming up they have Heart, B-52s,Frankie Valli, Blondie/Pat Benetar, Steve Miller Band, Diana Krall and the next week her husband Elvis Costello, and James Taylor. Plus there's a golf course there.

Wonder who owns it now? One Mitchell brother killed the other about 20 years ago. This weekend, the son of the one in prison killed the mother of his 1 year old kid with a baseball bat (on the kid's first birthday). He took off with the kid and there was an Amber Alert out. They caught him Sunday near Sacramento. The kid was fine.

That's what they called them on the news here in the SF Bay area. It was in a segment that was mentioned job fairs in the next few weeks.
