Because the Bills haven't made the playoffs lately, my brother and I bet on an over/under for the number of Bills wins in a season. This keeps us somewhat interested despite another bad year. I'm thinking about setting the over/under at 4.5 wins this year. The schedule, on paper, is tougher than last year and the team seems to be in a death spiral right now.

I believe I read the same article about Dockery getting a bonus in the near future. Even if the Bills FO messed up, which I'm not sure they did, it is a step in the right direction getting rid of Dockery. He was horrible last year.

It is early but here's a little trend that I see. Bills let JP go via FA and he was rated the 8th best FA QB. Bills sign Fitzpatrick 20th best FA QB. Fowler and Preston are rated bettter centers than Hangartner. I thought there was no way but up for this team!

He started several games at Center in 2006 and split his starts in 2008 between C and G.

To my fellow frustrated Bills fans. I know the front office comes across as inept to many of us but if they are going to turn it around they need to go about it in a smart manner. Signing a marquee FA would get people excited but it would also prevent the Bills from signing others positions of need. Look for them to sign 2nd tier players in the upcoming days. The tested way to improve an NFL team is through the draft. Here's to a good draft. Cheers!

Everyone is in arms because whether you like Trent or not - the guy tends to get hurt. Plus I was hoping that they would bring in a guy who is proven and could be a mentor to Trent. Someone like Garcia, Batch, Brad Johnson, maybe even Leftwich.

Are you kidding me? You did see the Jets game in the Meadowlands? All he had to do was hold onto the damn ball but no he fumbled and the Bills lost. The guy has zero game awareness, no pocket awareness, and he is a knucklehead. He can throw the deep ball but even then he's not an accurate passer. If he lands with another team and he plays against the Bills, the Bills will win every time even if DJ is the coach and we waste all of our timeouts!

This is the type of player I think the Bills will sign because they need two starting OL. I don't think they will be willing to sign two stud offensive linemen. Maybe one marquee name and a guy like this - a relatively unknown with some starting experience.

No. Here's why. I work for the government and they waste money left and right. They have meetings all the time and nothing gets done the way it should the first time around. Then they have more meetings to unscrew what they screwed up in the first set of meetings! And so on. Less government is better. Businesses create real jobs and the government should help them so they can create more jobs and hire more people.

I think you have it right. 1st round draft either a DE or a pass rushing LB. Then take either a TE and C in rounds 2 and 3.

I think hiring Nix is a good move as well. I lived in San Diego from 2002 - 2006 and saw the Chargers play regularly to include the Bills getting blown out in 2005(?). Anyway, the Chargers during that time drafted a number of good players to include LB Merriman, RB/KR Sproles, and DT Castillo who are all good players. There are other good players that were drafted by Nix and he appears to evaluate talent pretty well.

He is more trouble than he is worth! He is immature, stupid, selfish, and a thug who happens to play in the NFL. He will most likely be suspended by the NFL and the Bills get rid of them. Whatever happened to talent and character in a player?

I'm trying to give Lynch the benefit of the doubt but he has judgment problems to say the least. I like the way he runs and he never gives up on a play but just how good is he as a player? As good as Adrian Peterson? No. Is he worth the problems and headaches that he is bringing to the team? Not sure. He is arguably one of their better players but is that really saying all that much? Wilson said it himself that the team lacks enough talent. Even if this is cleared up in Lynch's favor and in the Bills favor, do you think that this will be his last transgression? I don't think so. He has had 2 seasons of 1,000 yards each and he has had two offseasons with 2 distractions. I think he will be suspended this time (Remember, even he is not convicted he can still be suspended by the NFL) and will leave the Bills in a tough spot. Do they keep him and cross their fingers or do they pull the trigger and get rid of him? I think at some point, sooner or later, they will tire of his poor judgment and they will pull the trigger.

Sorry fellas but you are all right. The entire team is a weakness - owner, head coach, and the various positions that were named. This team is so weak that the strength of the team is the fans!

Ralph Wilson is the most overpaid Bill and Bills fans are the most underpaid. They should have paid us to attend last year's games after the 5-1 start!
