  1. I watched the entire game and I laughed so hard when Parrish fumbled. The penalties and the lack of emotion is an embarrassment to the entire organization.
  2. Don't forget the Organized Crime/CIA/Cuba/Second Shooter/and botched autopsy as well.
  3. I'm one step ahead of you. After losing to Miami last week, we need to get rid of Jauron. Keep the "L's" coming.
  4. Bingo. I have tickets but I'm not going. I'll watch it on tv and if it gets out of hand, I'll turn it off. If you didn't see the Browns/Bengals game last week, the Browns looked pretty good with Derek Anderson. The O line gave him pretty good protection and they have a pretty good RB (his name escapes me). Their D got pretty good pressure on Carson Palmer and they look pretty good for an 0 - 4 team. They blocked a FG attempt and an extra point attempt and Josh Cribbs looked good returning kicks. It would not surprise me if they beat the Bills.
  5. A big part of the problem is fans have lost hope. They have witnessed 10 plus years of losing, bad draft picks, bad free agent signings, etc. Coaches coming and going along with GMs and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I have been a fan for 40 years and I thought signing TO would free up Evans and the offense would be more explosive. Then they can Schonert and waive Walker right before the season and the offense has been pretty bad the past two weeks. I know that the tackles have been dinged up but where is the depth on this team in almost all of the positions. They don't have any depth except for possibly the secondary. Edwards is the starter but what has he done to make him the definitive starter. I felt all along that they should have brought in an experienced QB to challenge Edwards and to even mentor him. In all seriousness, I'm looking for some positive signs but it is very trying watching this team.
  6. He also led the expansion Carolina Panthers to the NFC championship game in their second (?) season. He also drafted Peyton Manning when pundits thought Ryan Leaf was better. Drafted Reggie Wayne, Joseph Addai, Dwight Freeney, Bob Sanders, Edgerin James, and a handful of other players. Not to mention all of the other players he drafted for the Bills. He also traded for Cornelius Bennett. He also hired Marv Levy and Tony Dungy. Meanwhile look at the Bills since he left. Did we draft anyone near the caliber of Wayne, Freeney, or Sanders? Don't tell me Lee Evans, Aaron Schobel, and Whitner. You are right Polian sucks!
  7. Per Google a sunk cost is •Any expenditure that has already taken place and can not be undone. Decisions should not be made based on sunk costs. In theory you are right but in reality where have been the past 50 years? Ralph is cheap, cheap, cheap. If Ralph isn't cheap then please explain why Jauron is the HC now. He should have been fired at the end of last season but no. Why is that? Did you really buy into the continuity thing? He didn't fire him because he just gave him a sunk cost 3 year contract for $9 million and the cheap bastard doesn't want to eat it. Simple yet true.
  8. Losing to Cleveland is a distinct likelihood and if it happens I believe they will have truly bottomed out. I don't watch the games like I used to. I'm doing something else at the same time so I don't waste my day. Watching your team is supposed to be a distraction from work, things that aren't quite right in your life at the time, paying bills and crap like that. The Bills though they just add to the steam pile of crap!
  9. I agree. Peters is a talented LT but he didn't want to be in Buffalo. The Bills got it half right by trading for picks. Why they didn't draft an LT in the first round of this year's draft - I have no freakin clue. Why they thought Walker could be the LT - I have no freakin clue. Why they didn't keep Walker at RT- I have no freakin clue. The front office and coaching staff create so many of their own problems. Throw in injuries to Butler and Bell and the O line is a mess. Now Trent is struggling and we don't have a legit backup QB to see if he can get it going.
  10. Brace yourself! Despite starting a 2nd year QB, I think Miami will win. The wildcat will give the D trouble especially in the second half when they get tired. The no huddle is leaving the D on the field too much. Despite this Jauron will NOT be fired!
  11. Unfortunately, the 3 games that you talk about are just a fraction of the games that he has screwed up one way or another!
  12. I see your point but doesn't Jauron suck? Jauron is the king of suck. That giant sucking sound you hear isn't the vacuum cleaner or the sink drain it is Jauron. He is sucking the life out of the players and the fans. His non inspiring press conferences are just a snipit into what is going on. The players like him for all the wrong reasons. He's gotta go.
  13. What scares me about your projection is that you have the Bills winning 4 out of the next 5 games. If that happens, Wilson will probably give Jauron an extension to his contract!
  14. Don't get mad. It is a game and our team stinks. I used to get mad but have come to accept RW for what he is - a bad owner that somehow made the Hall of Fame. A Bills loss used to linger with me for a few days after the game. Now, after 9 plus years of losing, a loss lingers for maybe an hour if that. I have adopted a second team but the Bills are still first.
  15. I say this without any intent of busting your balls. Do you really think the Bills can win 7 games this year? Yes they came close to beating the Pats, they beat TB who looks to be pretty bad, and they played the Saints tough. I can easily see them going 0-6 in the division again. Brady is going to get better, the Jets and Dolphins are going to be tough games. The Browns game is winnable just like last year's game but we somehow lost that one. Texans look tough with Andre Johnson, Schaub, and Slaton. They may beat the Colts in the last game because the Colts have nothing to play for. The road games against Atlanta, Carolina, Tennessee, and Jaguars are going to be tough. They all have good defensive lines and are going to challenge the O line like the Saints did. The Chiefs are better than last year although the Bills should win. I see the Bills finishing somewhere between 3 - 13 to 5 - 11. I hope I'm wrong. Here's to 6 - 10.
  16. I agree with you on all of your points and that is why I'm beyond depressed. Even if Wilson fires Jauron during or immediately after this season why should we think he will get it right? The only way to get this right is if he cans Brandon too or somehow Brandon hires a real football coach which I doubt.
  17. I'll take your word that he made some mistakes. I was at the TB game and the kid was involved in a lot of special teams plays. He did miss training camp. So his mistakes as a rookie in a game we won should be viewed as a learning process. I'm surprised that he's on the field this quick. He must be doing something right.
  18. Unfortunately, I believe the credit belongs to the Eagles and Giants who smacked Brady around pretty good in 2007. The Chiefs followed that up in 2008 in the first game where Brady's season ended. The Bills just copied what other teams already figured out. I agree on your point that the Patriots have fallen back to the pack somewhat. They looked very ordinary to me other than Brady when he got it going.
  19. Only one really matters 25-24!
  20. Most fans who want change say fire Jauron because Jauron's performance as HC is on display every Sunday for evaluation. Therefore it is easier for fans to evaluate him and conclude "Fire Jauron." However the problems with the Bills run deeper than Jauron. Evaluating talent and getting their money's worth on draft picks is a significant problem. Reaching for players is a common theme. Example Whitner 8th pick overall. - Need to replace Tom Modrak with a person who knows talent and willing to live in Buffalo. Current situation of Modrak living in Florida or whereever is nonsense. Evaluation of pro personnel is weak as well. - Should replace John Guy. Hire a football guy to be GM. Brandon is a marketing guy but he is not the answer as GM. - Wilson had it somewhat right when he hired Tom Donahoe. He hired a football guy but decided to not only fire Donahoe but to assume control of the team as well. Wilson has no idea how to run a team. His best years as owner were, as most people know, when football people were calling the shots. Need to keep adding talent to the offensive and defensive lines. They have some talent that will develop but need to focus on the lines. If they can get the lines straighten out then everything else should fall into place.
  21. I'm going to need some help so feel free to chime in. This is in no particular order: - The four Superbowl losses - Playoff loss to Tennessee - Homerun Throwup - Dick Jauron's first game as HC against New England in NE. Another game that they were leading but blew. Spikes sacks Brady causing a fumble and Fletcher runs it back for a TD early on. Bills go on to lose despite outplaying patsies. - JP's fumble against the Jets last year - The Dallas Monday night game two years ago - The playoff loss to the Browns in 1989? Ronnie Harmon game - The loss to New England when Bum Jr was the coach. Phantom pass interference call against D. Bum Jr leads team off field in protest. - Playoff loss to Miami when Andre Reed is tackled at the one and he blows a gasket on the ref. He received a 15 yard penalty. Bills lose I know it's only 11 but I have to go to work. A little help.
  22. Stop blaming the refs. Those penalties against Bell, all of four of them were legit. Wilfork's penalty was a gift to the Bills. Whitner spearing was a good call and a stupid play by him. Blame the defensive philosophy after the Bills went up 24 - 13. They stopped being aggressive and gave up too many easy plays. Then blame McKelvin for fumbling. The zebras had nothing to do with the outcome. Can't hold a lead once again. I'm not sure that the Bills win even if McKelvin doesn't fumble. Van Pelt called a very good game but if Jauron starts calling things not to lose then we usually lose. I pin this one on Jauron.
  23. This is an easy one. Ralph Wilson. He has sacked Turk Schonert and soon he will sack DJ and a whole bunch of other coaches. As far as real sacks I think 6 could lead the team but not sure by whom.
