  1. Yup. Look at Raiders, Cowboys, Bucs, Panthers, Eagles, Colts, Chiefs, Skins, and Seahawks have done it to name a few.
  2. Non a$$ clowns would have addressed the qb position in the last few years. They neglected the wr position and rt position this year. They did draft Lawson, but WR and RT position are big holes on offense. They would have done better contracts with Dareus re his prior behavior and McCoy paid him too much. They let Hogan walk because lack of cash. They are a mess. The have 6 wins against crappy teams this year. Nothing to get excited about. A$$ clowns.
  3. So if Rex gets fired at the end of the season, is Laconfora still correct? This organization was a mess when Marrone quit, Polian declined, and Orton retired. Two years later it is still a bleeping mess but lets crap all over Laconfora. Personally I'm encouraged by Laconfora reporting this stuff because I'm hoping something will be done soon. Who could possibly watch another season with all of these a$$ clowns in charge.
  4. Right after the terrible loss to the Giants at home. Coughlin said that the Bills would beat themselves. He was right. I gave up on Rex about this time as well. What a Clown.
  5. a good organization would not have hired him in the first place. I wonder what Atlanta figured out during their interviews with Rex because they sure did dodge a bullet. I guess they saw through all the bluster, bs, and white noise.
  6. He would bring discipline no doubt. My concern would be who could he bring in to be his coordinators. The Giants kept most of his staff if not all.
  7. It pains me to say this but I don't see any difference between Pegula and Wilson. Pegula has more money no doubt but he inherited a franchise with a 15 year non playoff streak. His changes so far are replacing Marrone, who quit, with Rex. He has instituted a continuity theme within the franchise. He has directly or indirectly rewarded high risks moves such as drafting Watkins by retaining these people and elevating their stature within the organization. My point is until Pegula takes a big step backwards and looks at the big picture he will continue his ill advised ways. He needs new people who have experience in turning around. Someone who has a plan or vision. Right now the Bills FO is throwing darts with the lights turned off. Meanwhile teams that stunk not too long ago have passed the Bills. The Cowboys have a strong o line and a qb and rb to go with Bryant. The Raiders, Lions, Dolphins are tracking on a good path. Meanwhile we'll be hanging around with the Jests and Niners. Come on Terry be bold and bust a move.
  8. I think the cancer is not necessarily a person. It is a culture of losing that has crept into this organization which is the cancer. There is a lack of passion, playing smart, and overall determination to prevail. Just like Ryan, they lack attention to detail, they are unprepared, and are outcoached and outplayed on a pretty regular basis.
  9. Tom Landry and the Dallas Cowboys. He had 5 losing seasons to start. Went .500 in his 6th season and finally starting winning in his 7th season. This was in the early 60s. I don't think anybody has that kind of patience anymore. Not even El Pegula.
  10. I ditched my seasons right before the season as well as Directv. I live in DC and I was stuck with too many tickets the past few years. Grew sick of Rex and his clown show real fast. If I missed the Bills games too much, I would renew Directv. I caught the Ravens, Jets, both Pats games, and the Steelers on regular tv. I found ditching the seasons and Directv very liberating. I used to feel like crap after a Bills loss. No more. I will stay the course until the Bills get it right.
  11. I must admit this article was very well written and arguably the most comprehensive and detailed description of the past 20 years of Buffalo Bills futility. This article depressed me more than any of the losses during the Ryan era. Yet Tim Graham I believe is correct. The whole thing needs to be torched. Even if he does burn it all down, does Pegula have the real brains to run an NFL team? Hire a true experienced NFL man to be GM and stay the hell out of his way!
  12. In his 28 starts, does he have any 4th quarter come from behind wins? I don't think he does. To me, this is telling and it's time to move on.
  13. Pegula needs to give Whaley control of personnel. No more of this consensus stuff. It's not working. If Whaley screws it up get another GM. Keep Brandon away from any coaching hires and player acquisitions.
  14. I truly hate saying this but I think Ryan will be here next year along with Whaley. The only change they may make is drafting a qb and/or signing a veteran qb and declaring an open qb competition. They'll let EJ go and maybe try to rework Tyrods contract imo. They will cite the injury excuse and the need for f'n continuity one more time. Unfortunately enough fans will buy off on this complete pile of dung.
  15. And that 1st rounder will miss the entire season with some kind of injury.
  16. The bills sideline was all too happy after going up 24 - 9. They thought it was over and then they couldn't do anything right afterwards. And they were right. It was over.
  17. RT and WR should have been a priority last offseason.
  18. I'm not all that thrilled with Tyrod's play but getting Romo would set the team back. Too old, too expensive, and too injury prone. I think they should let EJ become a free agent and draft another QB in the first or second round.
  19. It really was a stupid contract the way it was written. All of those guarantees. Crazy. One of these days, the Bills will be a top notch organization from top to bottom. Until then self medicate.
  20. I don't think the OP is complaining about the wins. He is categorizing or describing the wins. They were against weak teams. It sucks but it is also true.
  21. The Bills conference record and division record is terrible. They are 4 - 4 by beating some crappy teams except for Arizona. The Miami loss was not a fluke and Jets game was insane. They should beat Cleveland and hopefully Jacksonville. 6 - 10. Seattle, Cincy, Oakland, and Pittsburgh look very tough.
  22. Seattle 17 - 7 in a snorefest.
