This guy makes tough contested catches. I like how he high points the ball. Hopefully it was just a maturity issue in college.

My favorite part was watching Allen improve as the season progressed. He needs to keep working on his game but looks like a legit qb in the making. Other favorites: Cutting Peterman and Benjamin Firing Crossman

Strengthening the oline would solve multiple issues. The bills defense had the worst starting field position in the league. A better oline would likely fix that as well.

If the Bills were to add a legit pass rusher, their defense could truly be special. I agree with Bandit regarding Cory Carter. That injury messed up their plans.

One interesting item about the skins is Overthecap is predicting the skins will get 4 comp picks in the upcoming draft. A 3rd, 5th, 6th, and a 7th. Skins have potentially following picks: 1st, 2nd, 3rd (2), 5th (2), 6th, and 7th (2)

Anytime you don't get results you can expect to get axed. Special teams were terrible all year long in almost every facet of special teams. Yes, they had several personnel changes but not any better results. If anything, they were worse as the year progressed. Crossman could have been let go when McDermott came on board. Im not sure why he stayed as long as he did. I think what did Castillo in, was him vouching for Ducasse who was a disaster. Also, who improved this year on the oline? Not one guy. Maybe Teller but I'm not sure. Robiskie who knows? But his unit was terrible as well.

They are. I wouldn't mind seeing Mills signed as a third OT. Get a starting OT somehow this offseason.

I'm glad they have another 4 months to decide. Maybe free agency and the draft will give a clearer picture. DE is a little thin for the Bills. Hughes played pretty well but is 31 and Murphy did not impress me that much. What's left Yarbrough and Mike Love. Shaq improved no doubt but $9 - 10 M is pretty sizable for 44% snap count.

A bunch of head coach firings - Browns, Packers, Bengals, Fish, Jets, Broncos, and Bucs. Maybe the Cardinals Frazier and Daboll in all likelihood will get some interviews for HC jobs. McDermott needs to have some guys in mind as replacements. Plus there has to be a special teams coach out there to replace Crossman, right?

This is a good move. Anderson has a lot of experience and Allen needs as much mentoring he can get. If all goes well, Anderson will be inactive for every game.

I think sweeping the Jets is quite possible next year. If not for some really bad special teams play this year, the bills would have swept them this year. Outgained them by 200+ yards in the loss.

It is tough the season is over but as I told my brother today I believe the Era of Suck is over as well. I believe the Bills will have a winning record next year and either make the playoffs or just miss it. Good things to come.

I think it was Sirles #74 that pounced on Alonso after the hit on Allen. Regarding the pick 6 by Allen, I think it was a terrible play call and a terrible throw. The Bills did not have good field position, only one timeout, about a minute to work with, and an injured kicker. Should have run it couple times and gone into halftime with 14 - 7 lead imo.

You're right. My bad. The Bills took him in the 4th rd. Many "experts" had him as a 6th or 7th rd pick.

It's a small sample so far with Beane but he tends to trade players for picks. Benjamin being the exception. This was done to rid of players who didn't fit one way or another and to get a qb. The other tendency he has is trading picks to move up in the draft to get a specific player. (Josh Allen, Edmunds, Taron Johnson.) I believe he will make several moves in free agency but most of them wont excite the average fan. Maybe one or two big signings. He comes across as a guy who tries to make solid but not flashy moves.

You bring up a good point. Losing Wood and Cogs after last season derailed the process somewhat. They stuck with their plan to draft a qb and scrapped together an oline that is brutal. 10 picks and 90 MM in cap space this offseason hopefully addresses this oline.

Really irked about the dline and the run defense. The bills devoted quite a bit of their resources this offseason to correct this. I'm beginning to get a little concerned about Frasier. 27th rank in touchdowns allowed in the red zone. That needs to be fixed big time!

They need a pass rusher. Either DE or OLB. I believe this will be their 1st rounder. Other defensive needs will likely be free agent signings or re-signing guys whose contracts are up. All other picks will be offense.

Rosenhaus was flying out of Buffalo. We were on the same flight. Buffalo to Dulles. I just looked him up through a google search. RSR stands for Rosenhaus Sports Representation. Unfortunately his wife didnt look all that great compared to internet photos. Figures.

FWIW, i attended last night's game and took the first flight out this morning back to Virginia. I saw Rosenhaus with a young platinum blonde in her 30s with two little kids in tow, I did not speak to him but he had a monogrammed jacket with "RSR". 95 percent confident its him. I remember seeing him on tv and his big charade when the bills drafted McGahee. I don't know any players he represents now. Maybe someone else does.

I agree wholeheartedly. Being in a position to offer a combination of 2 1st Rd picks and 2 2nd's from this year's draft will get other teams' attention. Do the Bills really like a particular qb or 2? To me that's the real driver in all of this. If they do, they will make it happen imo.
