Thanks for posting his stats. It proved my point that he was terrible the last two years.

Check out his career stats. His best year, 2014, he averaged 210 yds passing per game. Every other year is below 200 yards. Before you tear into me I actually was a big fan of his when he and Harbaugh were with the Niners. I watched many of his games. His play just wasn't that good and then the protests started. His play "got lost" in the controversy that followed.

From a pure football standpoint, he was terrible the last couple of years in the league.

This. Absolutely. I believed going into the game, if the Bills could get a combined 150 yards rushing they would have a good shot at winning. Browns run D 30th in the league.

Bills have quite a few holes. A WR1 and a DE that can pressure the QB top the list.

He pled guilty to lesser charges. The DV charge was dropped. He hadn't been in trouble with the law before. I think he's on a short leash.

IIRC, the Bills have 42 players under contract for 2020 plus 9 draft picks and about $80 M. Far and away the best position Beane and McD have been in to date. They have needs at WR1, DE, LB, RB, and O line. Beane decided to stay put.

That was pretty entertaining. I find myself agreeing with Bulldog the most. I like the way Beane and McD are running things better than Whaley and Rex to paraphrase Bulldog.

I believe this is why Beane stood pat. Star, Murphy, and Peko leave a lot to be desired. Arguably their best DL this year, Jordan Phillips, is an upcoming free agent. Horrible Harry tore his ACL and Hughes and Oliver have been relatively quiet. Not to mention a need for WR1, LB, an OT, and RB. Next year, Beane has money and picks. Until then, he's riding it out with the guys he has.

The manner of the loss is troublesome. The Eagles are a pretty talented team and they made the Bills look bad.
