You let him walk and find a cheaper replacement. Most likely, Oliver will improve this off-season and be ready for more snaps. Get somebody better than Liuget.
This is a tough decision. He was signed to a team friendly deal and he has outperformed it. Poyer will want to get paid. Not sure the Bills will oblige. Core players' contracts are expiring within the year. I believe Poyer will move on.
I agree. He's not great but he's alright. WR spot gets most of the attention, rightfully so, but DE is a close second as far as need. Beane won't dump Murphy unless there are 3 defensive ends on the Bills roster who are better than him. Currently, they have one - Hughes.
One thing about McD led Bills is they play well on the road for the most part. In the first season, they beat Minnesota and Atlanta. They were big underdogs in those. This year 6 - 2 on road. Too many things will change before season starts. Not even thinking about next season yet.
Milano is an upgrade to Humber but still room for improvement. I feel the same way about Poyer. He was an upgrade but too many missed tackles. Curious to see what Bills do personnel wise when contracts expire.
You may be right. I really dislike the Ravens. Right behind the Cheaters and the Iggles. As someone posted earlier, Jackson had a great season but it will be hard to replicate. Other teams are catching up to his game.
I tend to agree. Jackson didn't get much help from his team mates and the Ravens had some costly mistakes. Titans played a very sound game and no big mistakes.
I think this it. A true WR1 would be, imo, the biggest improvement to the team as a whole. I think they draft a guy in the first to grow with Allen and Singletary. Also, they sign a free agent WR to give them another experienced WR.
It was a good interview. He was asked about re-signing White, Dawkins, and Milano from a cost standpoint. He thought it was $18M, $14m, and $13M per year on average. Wondering what Beane is thinking regarding possible extensions.
This rookie draft class played well and contributed heavily. Looking forward to seeing Oliver and Ford with a full off-season under their belts. Also, Singletary getting more touches.
I was concerned about the oline coming into the season. So many new faces and Morse missed most of preseason. Still some work to be done, RT, but they are headed in right direction.
I think Phillips is gone as well. The Bills have youth, with Oliver and H. Phillips, plus they have Lotulelei's contract. Also they have Vincent Taylor. They're not going to give Phillips big money for above average player.
Shaq is a little different case imo. The Bills are older at DE with Murphy and Hughes. Then they have D. Johnson who just finished rookie season. It wouldn't surprise me if they paid Shaq. This would allow them to focus on WR in the first round.
