I fully expect Beane to address Oline this off-season based on his post season presser. At a minimum, Ford will have competition at RT beyond Nyseke. Perhaps Ford goes straight to LG. I also expect Bills to draft an Oline guy who can play T and G.

I'd rather draft 2 WRs with those picks.

Not to drag up dark days as a Bills fan but acquiring Watkins was the dumbest F'n move by the Bills in the last 20 years and maybe more. They gave up a lot plus they weren't one player away.

I think Green Bay is a good barometer for Buffalo. Years ago they were terrible. They got Favre and turned it around. Winning is everything. If Bills keep improving, the free agents will come.

Another point - Milano's position is the easier one to replace. White just made the pro bowl and is a top 5 CB. Dawkins is a 3 year starting LT and it takes longer to develop OL guys. If Bills let Milano walk after 2020, they could draft his replacement within first 3 rounds of 2021 draft or sign a cheaper veteran.

A few weeks ago, WGR had the Spotrac main guy (forget his name) on for a segment. Howard Simon specifically asked about White, Dawkins, and Milano extensions costs. He said $18M, $14M, and $13M per year were his estimates. The $90M goes fast if you're not careful. Beane knows he's already looking at one contract worth $90 - $100M contract for Tre White in the next year or so.

We're in agreement. My idea of a big contract is the 5 year deals at $20M per year types. Along the lines of Mario Williams and Marcel Dareus. I don't think Beane goes there. Star's contract and even Morse's are pretty good sized contracts but were done out of necessity imo. The Bills couldn't wait for a draft pick to develop into a starter. I believe this is why they pay Shaq even at $12 M per year. Should be a very interesting off-season for the Bills.

I agree that Shaq is not a stud and the Bills defense needs a disruptor. I think Shaq still has room to grow whereas Murphy's game won't grow. If Bills get their way, I think they re-sign Shaq and draft a DE early and maybe even in the first round. (Get a WR in 2nd round) They get younger and better at DE and possibly move on from Murphy. I just don't see Beane dropping money on a big free agent signing even though they have the cap space.

The biggest free agent signing will be re-signing Shaq imo. He won't cost anything near Ngouke and will let the Bills extend some of their own. I think they sign a FA RB (Breida or Jordan Howard), a WR (Perriman or someone similar), and a DT to be backup to Oliver. I believe Beane will fill enough holes thru FA to draft BPA in first round but pick a WR, DE, or CB with first pick. I'm leaning WR in first but if they can upgrade either Murphy or Wallace I think Beane will go that route.

I like most of this. I would sign a free agent RB to complement Singletary and draft a CB instead. I think upgrading CB2 along with a FA DE would make defense crazy good.
