  1. Just lurking. Cheap entertainment
  2. "BB 62 - 74". Is that Belicheats record without Marcia?
  3. Yes. 94 Daron Payne. Beat Ford consistently off the snap. Ford needs to work on getting off the snap better. Doesn't matter how strong you are if your guy is consistently beating you on the snap.
  4. I watched the Bills oline fairly closely. Williams did a nice job against Chase Young. He was able to maintain contact with Young and push him around Allen on several drop backs. Ford had his hands full with 94 Daron Payne. Payne was just too quick off the ball. Ford hung tough though and Allen was very good at making his reads, delivering quick throws which helped neutralize the pass rush.
  5. Nice writeup as usual Virgil. Agree about Milano 100%. He was all over the field making plays.
  6. This. The IOL of the Bills is getting exposed the last few games. Sign a free agent guard and draft a C/G high in next year's draft.
  7. Absolutely. 100%. I hate it when Allen runs on a designed run. Flirting with disaster. Dumb as hell imo
  8. I listened to McD's interview. He was respectful towards the press but got the impression he was pissed about the game. I think Daboll is his main target. Allen was off his game yesterday and he got little help from the other players and coaching staff. The game plan was inflexible imo
  9. Matt Haack had a punt blocked today and one in 2018.
  10. So if I eat this pill in one bite, I get to play until I'm dead.
  11. Don't forget all the intentional grounding plays which almost never get called on Brady.
  12. My oh my. How far we have come!!
  13. Perhaps you're right about Hodgins being cut and possibly being signed to the PS. As a fan, I remember last year how beat up they were at the WR position and am looking at ways to bolster that position.
  14. I'll take a stab at Hodgins making the roster. He was a 2020 6th rd pick and we know Beane loves his draft picks. Beane has a large number of his draft picks still on the team. He cut Austin Proehl, the LB from Florida ( forget his name), traded away Wyatt Teller, and cut Ray Ray McCloud. I'm pretty sure the rest of his picks are still on the roster. Hodgins had a strong camp last year. Reporters were talking about him left and right last year. Similar to how they're talking about Kumerow this year. They may IR Hodgins but they want him in the fold so to speak in case another WR gets hurt. The WRs got beat up last year and I believe they will want more WRs. I don't think you can put Hodgins on the PS. I think a team with a weak roster will snag him. Stability. Sanders and McKenzie are on 1 year deals. Beasley will have one more year left. I believe Kumerow is on a 1 year deal. Hodgins would still have 2 years left after this season on a rookie contract. As we all know now, 3 of the top 6 receivers are not vaccinated. The Bills will want to have as many contingencies as possible.
  15. Spot on. This is an initial 53 man roster projection by Joe B to protect younger players. This is not the 53 man roster projection for week 1 against the Steelers. Big difference. Beane could very well add players cut from other teams or do a trade or two. There will be a flurry of activity next week.
  16. McD said vaxed/unvaxed won't be a variable on who makes the roster but I don't believe it.
  17. They won't make Covid disappear but I have a feeling some unvaxed players are going to disappear.
  18. Agree 100%. A 7th WR would most likely be inactive on game days but you have an extra WR if/when another WR gets banged up. I believe this is why they didn't retain Andre Roberts. They wanted a guy who had better WR skills. Keeping Stevenson as WR7 makes sense imo. Let him develop better as a route runner, practice with the team, and if needed dress him on Sundays. A team can dress 48 players on game day as long as 8 players are OL guys.
  19. In terms of general soreness going away, a few weeks. McD really impresses me as far as taking care of the players, letting guys fully heal, giving veterans rest days, and being very cautious wrt to injuries. Over the course of a season, players are getting dinged up, beat up due to the nature of the game. McD seems to look out for his players.
  20. Your body learns to get hit or learns to hit depending on the position you play. Over time the general soreness goes away and you get in football shape. You re-learn this each season.
  21. I watched the game last night. Saints D came after Lawrence early and often and he took some hits. The Jags have better skill players than the Bills did when Allen was a rookie. Their Oline looks pretty bad though. Meyer looked disgusted at times. I'm not sure he's gonna be able to endure the growing pains. He might bail after a couple of seasons imo
  22. Nice writeup Virgil. Motor is looking good and I'm excited about Groot as well. Epenesa is actually looking pretty good to me. I think he could have a breakout year. Haack had a bad game but I agree he should be alright.
  23. IIRC, the Bills last year initially cut Andre Roberts and Dean Marlowe to get down to 53. In about 24 hours time, they put 2 players on IR, I can't remember who, and brought back Roberts and Marlowe. I could see the Bills trying to do similar moves this year. Maybe cut Breida and a LB (Matakevich or A. Smith). Put Sweeney and H. Phillips on IR. Bring Breida and LB back.
