NFL Week 7 - Around the NFL - Gameday thread (Bills have bye)
DCbillsfan replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills D line got all kinds of pressure on Mahomes. He's having a picnic back there today. -
I agree with you. McKenzie had a bad game against the Chiefs and Shakir keeps making plays. I don't think the coaches can ignore it. The Bills need a reliable 3rd WR. McKenzie flashes at times but can he be that guy? I dunno. Perhaps Shakir gets more snaps and they share that role. Go with the hot hand so to speak.

The Niners were trying to dump Jimmy G this past off season. He's a turnover machine. They have a good roster but their QB spot is a big question mark. The NFC is down this year no doubt but the Niners are 3 games behind the Eagles for #1 seed. You're counting on Jimmy G to win 3 playoff games just to reach the Super Bowl.

Trade Deadline (Nov 1) Bills Rumors / Speculation

I think Shakir is going to get more opportunities going forward. -
The Saffold Report - Week 6, Bills v. Chefs, 10/16/22
DCbillsfan replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
I thought Saffold played pretty well. Both of Allen's QB sneaks were right behind 76. I can't even begin to understand PFFs grade for Saffold 42.3. There were a few other crazy grades imo. Nice writeup. -
A Few Thoughts about the Chiefs Game, in no particular order

Nice writeup Virgil. Pretty sure that was McKenzie who dropped the pass backed up against the goal line. Would really like to see Shakir get some more playing time. -
PFF grades from KC...(for what they're worth)

McKenzie was terrible. Milano played pretty well. Quite a few of these grades are a joke. -
Week 8: SNF Packers at Bills (-10.5) 10/30 8:20pm

One more thing - the Earth is flat. Love, Sammy -
Panthers currently only have 4 draft picks next year - 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th. They need a QB bad. I think they would want to unload CMC for picks and/or young player on rookie deal. It's still early. Deadline is 11/1. If Beane really wants him, he'll make it happen. CMC has 3 years left after the season.

Hot take: Shakir should be the starting slot receiver going forward
DCbillsfan replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not at all. I was pointing out that Davis is under contract next year. So he's cheaper than OBJ next year but after that he'll be expensive along with OBJ. I think the prudent move is to draft a WR next draft. Preferably high in the draft - 1st or 2nd round. -

Davis is under contract next season but an extension could prove costly. -
And they gave him a 5 yr extension before playing a single game.

WR Courtland Sutton is pretty darn good. Denver's offense looks awful. I think that was a popular opinion about the Broncos I.e. just needed a QB.

Matt Haack just punted for the 7th time tonight. Sam Martin has 7 punts in 4 games. 😁

Just when I thought I fully appreciated having Josh Allen as our QB, my appreciation goes up a little more.

I think you know what I meant about Schopp. Perhaps "material" isn't the correct term but his views of the Bills were rather negative for a long time. I'm not defending the Bills. They were a badly run organization for quite some time. Schopp is a smart guy and rather articulate.
