  1. We don't need another undersized receiver, especially one whos better days are behind him. I'll continue to hold on to the hope that we trade for Boldin.
  2. So was Pat Williams. I hope he's still there at #11 but will probably end up in Jacksonville.
  3. They tendered him an offer today. Unless he holds out he'll be in a Bills uniform this season.
  4. What do you propose we do with him? If you could trade him for a 1st rounder I'd say fine but who would be stupid enough to offer that for a player with an impending suspension? Like him or not he has value and I would hope management proceeds with caution on the matter and not pull another dumb move like they did with Crowell.
  5. Either one is better than Meesus Fowler.
  6. Saturday would be nice, Birk would be better, but we'll probably end up with Meester.
  7. Clements didn't do enough to warrant the kind of money he got either. Unfortunately experienced db's are in dire need right now and teams may get into a bidding war for Greer. I hope that's not the case, I like Greer. If they are serious about retaining him then they must be looking to trade Mcgee. This would be a good move. They shouldn't have any problem dealing him for a 3rd round pick.
  8. I think it would be a good move considering the unpredictable behavior of ML. It never hurts to have more veteran leadership in the locker room either. The problem is his career is winding down and I'm sure he wants to play for a contender. If the Pats want him they'll get him.
  9. Wasn't that supposed to be Mitchells role. He's a veteran player with Superbowl experience. You're right, it didn't make a difference. As long as Jauron is here we will continue to underachieve.
  10. The only problem is in the movie Gene Hackman was an experienced head coach with a proven track record. I agree with putting more pressure on players to become better pros. Thats what Parcells did in Miami. Does anyone believe the Dolphins have more talent than we do? If Wilson would get rid of Fire Marshall Bill and hire a respectable head coach we could win with this current squad. I wonder if Gene Hackman is available. Atleast he can act like a head coach.
  11. It's definately Edward Cottrell.
  12. I'm saying we can't attract top tier free agents regardless of how much money we offer them given the current state of our organization. If I'm so wrong than name me one stud free agent that signed with us over the last 7 or 8 seasons. And don't give me Spikes because he was overrated to begin with.
  13. Buffalo can't pony up huge dollars to pull in big time free agents because they wouldn't come here. We had to overpay just to get mediocre players like Dockery and Walker. And we took care of Evans before he became a free agent.
  14. Your missing the big picture. Nobody wants to come here. Not even an unproven player. What does it say about this organization when a mediocre assistant leaves to join a team that is only marginally better than ours? People are holding out hope that we can sign a top tier free agent like Matt Birk, or Suggs. Its not gonna happen. We'll sign some career backups to three year deals worth about 1.5 a season and watch them consistently suck on a weekly basis.
  15. Great point. I'm sure Parcells had alot to do with his decision. If the Bills would hire a respectable head coach for once they might be able to attract some decent free agents. I know Cower was too much to hope for but they might have been able to get Brian Billick. The Ravens are going to lose some players to free agency. If Billick were here we would have a good chance at landing one or two of them.
  16. I guess you don't consider Peppers and Suggs top notch.
  17. If mediocre assistants don't want to be here, where the hell does that leave us ? The ship is sinking fast. Does anyone still believe we will land a top notch free agent?
  18. Damn, I wonder if Fitzgerald will be thinking about that tonite.
  19. Isin't that something? It was nice to see Marv follow thru on his philosophy of using the run to set up the pass. Kelly got greedy. He wanted to be MVP so bad he let it get in the way of a Superbowl victory.
  20. Go buy the video.
  21. Thomas averaged like 7 yards per carry. Even Parcells couldn't believe he didn't get the ball more.
  22. Yeah you're right. Ellison is a much better option at olb.
  23. Poz would probably fare better as an outside backer, which is where he played in college if I'm not mistaken. If the Bills could get Mauluga with their first pick it would be possible to switch Poz back to his natural position.
  24. Don't worry. I hear Russ Brandon already has on offer sheet prepared for Zach Thomas.
  25. That's what Lynch yelled out the window after he hit that girl on Chippewa.
