  1. No problem, you are entitled to your opinion, but it's true. When Canseco admitted to using steroids he was called before congress and provided names. Floyd Landis is in the same boat right now. The league doesn't want this kind of publicity. I'm sure Cushing is acting on the advice of the Players Union.
  2. Agreed. There is no need for steroids in baseball simply for the fact that it is not as physically demanding as football. Jim Kelly spent the latter part of his career relying on cortisone just to get on the field each week. Cortisone is a steroid. There may be some who call him a cheater, thats fine. What some call cheating I call sacrifice.
  3. His appropriate response is to deny it to protect the integrity of the league. Just like Palmero, Maguire and Sosa did in front of congress. If he were to man up and admit it the next step would be an investigation into where he got the so called PEDs. Then he would be pressured into naming names of other players.
  4. Why should he man up and admit it? Are you that naive to believe he is the only NFL player taking PEDs? His biggest crime was that he got caught. Had he cycled the drugs properly they would have never been detected.
  5. I remember going to camp a few years ago when Losman was the starter and thinking how much trouble we were going to be in if he got injured because Edwards looked like garbage. You won't know anything until it's for real. I just hope whomever emerges as the starter can capably lead this offense.
  6. For me it begins and ends with Doug Flutie. He was the most polarizing figure in Bills history. Not only did he divide the locker room but the fan base as well. He's been gone for over 10 years yet we still argue about him. This past week there were two threads on TSW regarding that POS.
  7. He is who we thought he is.
  8. Which one drank out of the toilet?
  9. Trent Edwards stats in his first regular season game: 10-20 97 yards 0 td 1 INT 1 sack QB rating 43.1, the Bills lost 38-7 Needless to say Trent had a full training camp and played in all 4 preseason games prior to appearing in his first regular season game.
  10. For Mothers Day I bought my mother in law a pair of slippers and a dildo. If she don't like the slippers she can f^ck herself.
  11. My guess would be that they didn't know what he was taking. The test probably showed elevated levels of testosterone in his system, indicating the use of illegal steroids. But there are masking agents sold in retail stores that will produce high levels of testosterone and are not on the NFL's list of PEDS simply for the fact that the product is new and they are not aware of it yet. This was the problem with Andro. Athletes were taking it because it was legal and sold over the counter. Eventually, the FDA did a thorough investigation and classified it as a steroid. It was then taken off the shelfs and no longer sold in stores. The makers of Andro brought it back awhile later under a different name, AD1. AD1 was sold in stores for quite awhile before it too was classified as a steroid. There is a product in stores now call 4ad. If you google it you will see a disclaimer in the description that says *THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT MIGHT CAUSE A POSITIVE URINE TEST SHOWING ELEVATED TESTOSTERONE LEVELS. These products continue to get banned only to come back later under a different name. This is probably why Cushing is appealing. In his defense he could say he bought it over the counter and did not know he was taking steroids.
  12. No, just the opposite. Steroids can help heal injuries quicker. If you cycle steroids properly you can pass the drug tests. He just got careless.
  13. I give it a B. I was a little disappointed that they didn't trade Lynch when they had the chance. Aside from that I thought it was a solid draft.
  14. Troup and Carrington know how to play in a 3-4 defensive scheme. Both solid picks.
  15. What are you talking about? After spending the 41st pick on Troup I said "WOW we got THIS guy?"
  16. Maybe Jimbo could be persuaded to unretire his number for McCoy. Remeber, it was Kelly who said " No more California quarterbacks" during the offseason.
  17. Jimmy Clausen sounds too much like JP Losman. They're both from California and both wear #7. The numbers 7 and 11 have not been kind to the Buffalo Bills. The number 12 however has been very good for us. Go with McCoy.
  18. Does anyone actually believe that Cleveland is going after another ND QB after the Brady Quinn debacle? If Buffalo is in fact looking to move ahead of Cleveland then it must be for McCoy.
  19. Exactly. Melvin Fowler and Duke Preston were also high on Jauron.
  20. Maybe Green Bays offensive line is better, or maybe their receivers do a better job of getting open, or maybe Edwards is running the plays that are given to him, or maybe his hair was in his eyes, or maybe...
  21. "You ready to get back out there Peerless?"
  22. You'd be better off spray painting his lawn. It won't get the result you're looking for but it might make you feel better.
  23. I heard his comment on the show today and he in no way said that to be spiteful. He merely brought up the way that RW likes to do things and that fans should expect more of the same until he dies and new ownership takes over. He wasn't advocating for his death, he was just stating a fact.
  24. I have season tickets. I would be more than glad to sign a petition if I thought it would do any good but it won't. Thurman Thomas said today on GR that fans can expect more of the same until Ralph dies and new ownership takes over. That's the harsh reality.
