Where will Ravens CB’s line up against Bills?
Magox replied to Dkollidas's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, I mean if the pass was absolutely perfect maybe Brown could have made a play. The throw was fine, the problem on that play is that Brown couldn't get any real separation on Peters. -
Bills Offense versus Elite Defenses
Magox replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is little doubt that the Bills can thrash their defense, the question is will they? If we put up 30+ points I don't see the Ravens keeping up with us. I could be wrong, Baltimore certainly can put up those sort of points but I don't see it. -
Anonymous Dolphins players: not sold on Tua
Magox replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s super unusual for there to be a lot of chatter from within the organization primarily players criticizing the potential franchise rookie high end first round QB. Part of it obviously is on Tua for not demonstrating that he’s the man but also on Flores. If Flores had not benched Tua I don’t think you’d be hearing all these anonymous quotes. He emasculated him by taking him out for Fitz in order to win the game. I don’t think Flores realizes the psychological impact not just for Tua but for his teammates. -
Looking healthy. Darryl Williams you'd like to see out there for special teams but not a huge loss. Good to see Stefon and Oliver back to full and Beasley obviously is still on the mend but at least his injury designation is not at questionable meaning he's healthier than he was last week at this time. I'd say the Bills are pretty dang healthy going into the playoffs aside from Moss.

The Ravens made a highly efficient Titans attack look downright pedestrian. On the other hand the Browns torched them. Just like most sports, it's a game of matchups. I could envision a good defensive game by the Ravens with their good pass rush, ability to turn the ball over and probably the best trio of man cover corners in the league. I could also see how blitzing teams who play man defense against the Bills have been getting scorched this year. Sort of plays right into the Bills strength. It's going to be a strength vs strength matchup.

Roberts inactive this week is my prediction...

The game in large part is about trust and doubly so in the playoffs. The Bills trust Roberts. End of story -
Passer Ratings from Wild Card Weekend: Josh Allen is #1
Magox replied to BigBuff423's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You would think that after listening to all the talking heads that Lamar had this phenomenal game and that Josh Allen almost cost the Bills their victory. It almost seems as if the Bills are the underdogs here and that Josh is still not getting the level of respect he deserves. If 90% of any of the starting QB's are playing for the Bills this game, they lose. The reason why the Bills won was because of good situational and red zone defense but more than anything because of Josh Allen. Not many other QB's can drive the team 96 yards in about 90 seconds right before the end of the half with great passing and running. The TD pass to Diggs was elite. -
I get it, you are extremely bullish on the Bills receivers. I'm hopeful but I think this tandem is better than any other tandem we have faced and they are red hot in the playoffs. I also expect them to throw in a few new wrinkles that could give momentary pause to Josh but at the end of the day I think we pull it out with a solid offensive performance.

I hear what you are saying and stylistically the Bills have crushed these sort of defenses, except for the Steelers which limited Buffalo for about 60% of the game. The difference is that the Ravens have two really good man to man corners and the receivers will have to bring their A game especially if they look to provide help to guard Diggs. I am excited about the matchup and I believe we will get the better of them. I also think it is possible that we could put up lots of points but I wouldn't bet on it. It's the playoffs and the Ravens are playing very good D right now. I think we'll probably put up somewhere around 30 points.

He's got a really good offensive mind but I don't see the Bills going outside of the organization to replace Daboll.

They have two very good man corners and they like to bring the blitz. Clearly they are able to take away the run and make you one dimensional. The Receivers will have to bring their A game and beat their guys for us to win this game.

John Brown need you to step up going forward

Davis was not the second option, he was the extend the play option when the pocket broke down. -
Wild Card: early game Baltimore at Tenn 1:05 on ESPN

He and Vick are the most explosive QB athletes to have ever played. Turned what was nothing into a TD in a flash. -

What an awful pass. If that had been Allen social media would be going wild.
