  1. Yeah, but some of the TBD "experts" of this board (2 dudes) believe that the Bills only did one thing right and that was get Josh Allen. The rest has been terrible according to these experts.
  2. Just think, if some of the TBD "experts" had their way, we'd have Marcel Dareus anchoring the middle, Darby as our top DB, Jonathan the legendary jag as our main RB, Josh Rosen as our franchise QB and Sammy Watkins as our #1 WR.
  3. Yeah, I actually agree with that. I was sort of kidding but man, I had no idea that he was that bad of a presence on the Bills team. The players were happy that he left and I think it was a good thing for him to have a change of scenery. If Beane thinks he's worth it to kick the tires again then I'd be for it. But I just don't believe that they will.
  4. Yeah, but you thought he was worth $16 million a year. There were a number of you that thought the Bills should have kept him, after reading everything about him, his inability to stay healthy, inconsistent game play, terrible locker room presence, lack of commitment, we can safely say that you guys were all wrong and that Beane was right.
  5. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2020/5/18/21262099/sammy-watkins-partied-himself-to-failure-buffalo-bills-trade-los-angeles-rams-kansas-city-chiefs Wow! Just read that story. I take back what I just said.
  6. I've been one of his biggest detractors over the past few years and the main reason wasn't so much about him but what people perceived his value was worth. Ever since early in his career, he has been an average starting 2-3 WR. He's injured too often, non factor in more games than not and too inconsistent, nowhere near worth the money he was paid. With that said, if the Bills can get him for $6M a year or less, then I'm all for it. At $6M a year, he starts to become more of a bargain.
  7. This really isn't too difficult. One thing is grading him vs other starting QB's and another when grading him against backups. He's a mid to low end starting QB He's a high end back up QB.
  8. 8 year $375 Million $120 Million in guarantees
  9. Wow! $2.5 Million for Trubisky?? That is the deal of the century! He is a very high end back up caliber QB. That is an absolute steal.
  10. Very good special teams player.
  11. He's the Fitzmagic of DB's. Every year he isn't supposed to start and every year he wins the starting position. Hopefully this year someone does beat him out but he is an excellent signing at that price.
  12. Because you don't know how much he would contribute to that. You are assuming that if the Bills win and he's on the team, he's the difference maker. He could be, he and he very well may not be. His numbers show him declining in production, he'll be 31 years old during next years season, maybe he finds his ALL PRO form and he maybe he doesn't. He hasn't played at an ALL PRO level the last couple years, he's been a good player, top 20% and in my view, you don't trade an aging player with declining statistics who may have another 1-3 more good years for a first rounder. Plus, you don't know what the 1st rounder would bring the table, part of your hypothesis doesn't take that into account. If they did trade for Mack, then I'd support it because I generally trust what Beane and McD do, but if you ask me would I trade a 1st for him, my answer would be no.
  13. That's fine and dandy and I don't have a problem with doing that, but there is always a cost -benefit analysis that has to be done. And 1 - 3 possibly good years in my view doesn't warrant a 1st round choice.
  14. I'm a fan of keeping continuity on the offensive line. Maybe Ford wins out his position and hopefully we get an upgrade at one of the guard spots, but considering that the Bills have pretty much kept their core team in tact for me is already off to a great start this offseason.
  15. No way you trade a 1st for Khalil. He's on the precipice of his downslope of his career. Maybe a 2nd and a midrounder.
  16. Because Sanders is a better route runner that can get open, more so than Fuller.
  17. That stinks, I had always hoped that we could get Judon to replace the jackknife role of Zo Alexander.
  18. Some are dismissing what Beane has done to keep the team in tact as the "easy part". None of it is easy, like in just about everything sales is involved. I said about a month ago that Beane would have a really good story to tell when it came time to contracts and negotiations and I'd say based off what he's done so far, that story is being told really well. These players are players that are contributing to the success of this team and truth be told, they are at really good team friendly rates. I suppose in the coming week we'll hear about some restructuring to free up some cap space and the Bills will look to pick up two D-lineman in FA.
  19. Feliciano is a good team player, he's a bit of a loose cannon on twitter and wears his emotions on his sleeve. I like him, I know he has become TBD's next-in-line whipping boy, but if the Bills could retain him for around $4m-$5m a year they should be all over it. His versatility at center and guard is valuable and even if he didn't become the starter, he would provide very good quality depth at the interior positions. I hope we do get him back.
  20. Thanks for the explanation.
  21. I'm thinking he does take a big pay cut, I wouldn't be surprised if it is as much as you just stated. This is not a good year to get a lot of money due to the reduced cap, plus he's in his 30's and he didn't have a hot year. I would say $5 million range sounds about right.
  22. They aren't done yet. They are waiting for things to shake out, I think the cuts they made were for players that they believe they already have or are pretty sure that they have upgrades or at least comparable options. Gabe is very likely penciled in as the opposite side receiver to Diggs and Stills as a good option to stretch the field. John Brown was flexible in this sort of cap crunch year. Jefferson disappointed and I think they saw enough. Butler and Morse have taken pay cuts, and I imagine Addison is very likely a goner as well. The Bills have enough room to sign the rookie class and enough to sign some potential impacting well-known players who were cap casualties.
  23. That's what everyone says about Josh Allen, that he's an elite competitor and no matter what it is, he will compete to the end. I noticed that about him winning some non related to football off-season tournaments in various things and he simply wins. That is a phenomenal trait to have for an athlete, especially so for it to be your franchise QB.
  24. Could very well be something his agent is pushing out there to push up the bid. It happens
