    Just makes me think, how freaking bland and predictable our D has been over the past few years. No innovation, disguise, just a regular boring 4 man rush... I would think it's much easier to block incoming pass rushers when you know who's rushing the passer every freaking down. God I hope we have disguised exotic blitzes this coming year.

    I like the idea that he's been involved in a successful, "exotic", blitzing schemed Defense. Whoever we choose, I just hope that we blitz a lot.

    I don't know, I'm certainly no expert, but I would think that if you have the luxury to decide which DC is going to help lead your Defense, you go with the guy that has had success in "the scheme" that he is most familiar with.

    That's fine if you are the HC... But if you have the luxary of choosing a DC, and you have personnel that is built more for the 4-3, then it doesn't make that much sense to choose a DC who has primarily coached the 3-4.

    It matters, if you have a coach who has coached and led good defenses under a 3-4 for most of professional career, then ideally you would be hiring someone to help install a defense he has familiarity with.

    Why would we want to go back to a 3-4 Defense? We have two good DT's, 2 good to serviceable 4-3 DE's, and maybe 1 good LB.

    People on both sides of the aisle vociferously defend seniors. No way in hell are politicians going to tell seniors that they shouldn't get any more or for that matter less care towards the end of their lives.

    He sometimes annoys me the same way Chris Christie does... Christie needs to win re election in the blue state of NJ and has an ego larger than his physical stature, much the same way Scarborough is, they both have outsized egos who go waaaay out of their way to criticize the party they support just so that they can be liked from those in the middle. It's a show.
