  1. Peterman doesn't make that throw...
  2. Unfortunately in my opinion we are a depressed City and fan base. We play the victim role and believe we can't have "anything nice". We are a City who hates ourselves and consistently puts ourselves down. We leave the City and area in droves and we tell anyone who asks us about Buffalo, we say we hate it here/there and we're never going back. Then when someone talks about our city and region we get offended. Colin Cowherd is 100% correct about us...Back to the topic at hand. The Buffalo Bills aren't leaving.
  3. I'm not saying his picks were bad. He missed on drafts and hit on free agency. Ultimately, QB, Cap issues, overspending on Sammy Watkins and missing the playoffs cost him his job. I'm a fan of the rosters he put together. Look at what talent looks like compared to the lack of talent we have know.
  4. I'm not saying finding a QB is easy. The fact that he struck out on EJ and gave up a 1st rounder for Sammy Watkins was his down fall. Finding a franchise QB is the hardest thing to find in sports.
  5. I believe Doug Whaley has a great eye for talent and is a great scout. He wasn't a great GM because he was so concerned with ending the playoff drought that he didn't "build for the future". A GM has to look 5 to 10 years down the road and not put a Band-Aid on the team. If you look at the talent that was traded away or let go in free agency, you see these players are top contributors on their new teams. I think many Bills fans have condemned this man and not given him enough praise for the job he did. The Bills had more talent under his watch then we've had in many years. His lack of finding a QB and giving up too much for Sammy Watkins as well as trying to pay for all his high priced talent in the rush to end the drought was his downfall. I think he learned his lesson and will make a great GM one day. To answer the question. Yes. This was the Rooney rule in effect and it sucks to be the "token minority" when there's no legitimate chance of being hired.
  6. What do some of you "Fans" expect? Coach Mc D went to the 2nd option and he had an all-time meltdown. Believe or not, Tyrod won a huge road game last week when no one expected it. As of right now he gives the Bills the best chance to win because the other guy blew it. 5 int's in the first half. I agree Tyrod will not be in a Bills uniform next season and he's not a "franchise" QB. We just have to live with him until the Bills are out of the playoff hunt. Going back to Peterman will be a disastrous move.
  7. Tyrod is better QB than Peterman. Point blank period. He's better than Alex Smith and about half of all NFL QB's. That throw to O'leary was unacceptable and he has to be better, however he didn't throw any interceptions and he WON a big road game. Give the man some credit. Every game that Jim Kelly Won wasn't pretty either.
  8. The Raiders defense has sucked since last year. However, what does firing a coordinator 10 games into the season accomplish? Denver has made a mistake firing their OC as well.
  9. I hate to being up race because the race card and been over played. I’m at a loss on why so many hate Tyrod. Tyrod is the ultimate professional. He’s a hard worker, he doesn’t get in trouble with the law. He’s a very good leader. He wants to live in Buffalo. He wasn’t to embrace the city and genuinely like it here. He could have go0ne anywhere else but be chose to stay. He chose us. Buffalo Bills fans. Tyrod is the type of player us “Blue collar” fans should love, but not Tyrod. He’s basically the best QB we’ve hand since Jim Kelly. We constantly complain about the Willis Mcghee and the Marshawn Lynches of the world who bash the city and the local communities. Now we have a players who wants nothing more than to succeed for the fans, basically ran out of town. We embrace Ryan Fitzpatrick who has the beard and is a gun slinger but we don’t embrace Tyrod. Why? Is it race? Are Bills fans sub-consciously wanting a white quarterback so badly because we haven’t had one in a while? A white QB who we can relate to? I’m hope not but the writing is on the wall.
  10. I understand the Tyrod Taylor looked bad today, however these coaches watch these players since mini-camp and they know what the quarterback position brings to the table. I trust them to make the right choice. They've decided that Tyrod is a better QB for the time being. Until some fans are in daily practices and see the day in and out, we should go against the coaches call.
  11. For all of us fan who've been through the awful playoff drought, it's the same ole Bills. The 2017 Buffalo are a team of castoffs and margin NFL players at be in very important positions. At some point talent or lack thereof is going to catch up with them. I can honestly say this was not Tyrod's fault this game. The Bills were dominated at the line of scrimmage all night long and that's where it starts and finishes on the football field. The Bills have many deficiencies and have been masked because of turnovers and luck being on their side. We can't expect to get 3 or 4 takeaway's every game without giving it away ourselves. Coach Mc has done a great job of changing the culture of the team but talent wins games and we are lacking. As for Tyrod, for those who hate him. This will be a reason to say he needs to be benched and replaced. He has is issues as well but this loss is not directly on him. This was a team loss, just as it was a team with in the previous weeks.
  12. Receiving REC YDS TD LG C. Kupp 4 76 1 28 S. Watkins 5 58 0 24 T. Gurley 5 56 0 23 R. Woods 3 53 0 27 Looks like Sammy and woods are doing just fine in LA!
  13. This issue is about sports. There is nothing wrong with asking a relevant sports question. Saying ESPN needs to become part of CNN/MSNBC is a Pro-Trump response, saying that ESPN is fake news. I'm not saying ESPN is the center of the sports universe that it used to be, but asking a question has nothing to do with liberal agenda. When are conservatives going to step up and say CK actually has a point and is within his constitutional right to protest, just as it's our constitutional right to bear arms. This shouldn't be a liberal or conservative battle. It should be about everyone's rights. The way I can describe this issue is if my child is dying and I'm trying to get attention and help. If I spit in someone's face to bring awareness. That person(s) probably will be more upset about the disrespect and could care less about my dying child. Especially if my child doesn't look like them. Food for thought.
  14. The Talent level the Bills have on this team is the highest it's been since 2002. I believe the Bills had like 5 Pro Bowl players. Sammy Watkins is one of the most talented players in the NFL at receiver. He's just been injury stricken, but the potential is limitless. Whaley missed on a QB but for the life of me why so much hate. The Buffalo News and certain fans are kicking DW while he's down. DW took for responsibility for his shortcomings and went out with class. Turn the page....Next chapter
  15. I will say the one thing that Doug Whaley did for the Bills was make them relevant again in some ways. Some how the Bills were able to convince big time free agents to come to Buffalo. The Bills have a horrible reputation around the league as Siberia. We have made the playoffs in this century, yet we were on the news consistently. Was it for winning no, however compared to the previous regimes, Whaley had a 30-34 record. The best record we've had in years. Where Whaley failed was he was trying to "just make the playoffs" for the new season or two. He didn't have a vision for 5 or 10 years down the road. The pressure of missing the playoffs got to Whaley. He wanted to make the playoffs so bad that he sold his soul to the devil for a quick fix. It's very easy to say blow it up and start over when you feel you're a player or two away. If Whaley made the playoffs, once during his time here he'd be a God. But unfortunately for him, he's just gone.
  16. I get the high praise for McD, but he's still a rookie head coach. Marv Levy was a very experience head coach in the CFL and the NFL before he was a hall of Fame coach. To say a 5th round pick in the 2017 draft who hasn't even taken a snap is the QB of the future is a bit much. If he's go great why did he last until the 5th round? We currently have a 4th round QB with all the arm talent in the world who's won a national championship on the roster and we're giving the QB of the future to Peterman? Please... As Lee Corso would say "Not so fast my friend"

J.B. J. Daniels Will someone tell me what DW and Buddy nix was supposed to do with this crop of No good NFL Quarterbacks? The Bills felt they took the best one available. DW missed on EJ manual but the pressure was on the team to draft a QB, so they did. DW is not perfect but he's obtained more talent on this roster since 2004 and since the playoff years.
  18. This is a major reality check for the Bills and their fans. Many people in the media picked the Bills and went out on a limb, but the same old Bills showed up. I don't get it as a fan. Why this continues to happen but obviously this franchise still has major issues. How can you give up 48 points and 42 points against two divisional opponents? This is just sad. This is a sad, sad time to be a Bills fan.
  19. Honestly, This should not even be a question on who the best QB is. Wheather it's stats or win loss record, Vick is head and shoulders above Fitz. Fitz is a journeyman QB who has been nothing but a career backup for most of his NFL life. One of the reason is his decision making and accuracy is below par, and his arm strenght is questionable. Fitz, is good on his feet and pretty mobile and I'd put him above Vick once he has more consistant seasons. Vick has a cannon of an arm, his accuracy is better his decision making may be about the same and may be on a Jay Cutler level but that's only becuase of his strong arm. Jim kelly made some bad decision as well (strong armed QB's tend to do that fron time to time). Vick is a middle level QB with much more potential. Fitz is a career backup who is lucky that Trent Edwards sucked so bad or he'd still be a career backup. I want Fitz to be better because he's our QB and QB's in this day and age have to be good in order to win. Fitz made strides last year and hpopfully he'll do better, but as of right now Vick is better than Fitz.
  20. Who cares about Chris Gronkowski??
  21. Hold on a minute everyone. Yes, I believe we're better and I think 6 & 10 is about right unril we prove different. We were 5-2 and people belived in the Bills for the first time in years. Then we tanked. Until we show consistant winning, we'll always be picked down towards the bottom of the league. Any way, who cares about 2015? If I could predict the future, I'd be a very rich man.
  22. Here you go. 22 Buffalo Bills LAST SEASON: 6-10 (fourth place AFC East) The bar graphs reflect the average rating given by the voters for each category. Category averages are weighted by importance to generate overall score. Roster: The Bills made great strides in improving their roster through free agency, acquiring DE Mario Williams, and with a strong draft for this upcoming season and beyond. I still have my share of doubts about QB, but that position is excluded from this category. The defense could be elite, and is young behind players such as DT Marcell Dareus and CB Stephon Gilmore. -- Williamson Quarterback: Will we see the Ryan Fitzpatrick of September, or the Ryan Fitzpatrick of November? Fully healthy, he could bounce back. If he's the answer, Buffalo is on the rise. Not 30 until November, he has time to perform. He has to stop the bad INTs. -- Dilfer Draft: Can RB C.J. Spiller, Dareus and now Gilmore help us forget the whiff that was DE Aaron Maybin? I like their chances. Buffalo is headed in the right direction. -- Kiper Front office: As proven this past offseason, the Bills' front office is doing a lot of things right of late. It should stay in place over the next few years and continue to strengthen an emerging roster. Finding the quarterback of the future will be a pivotal move for this group. -- Williamson Coaching: Chan Gailey has done a very good job for the Bills and should be safe going forward. He has a good reputation for developing quarterbacks, which could be the next big project on his agenda after this season. On defense, Dave Wannstedt looks like an excellent candidate to oversee their transition to a 4-3 scheme, and he has a great cast with which to work. -- Williamson
  23. I'm a huge Bills fan. I've been a fan since birth pretty much. I've haven't seen a playoff game since 1999, a Superbowl since 1993 and a team over .500 since 2004 and some of you think hard knocks will be a distraction. I guess the Bills organization has been distracted since 1999. I think the Bills NEED hard knocks to announce that Buffalo is an actual NFL team that has great players and is a great place to play and live. Maybe we'd attract more free agents and get a better following. We've been an after thought for too long and I'm tired of being the butt of jokes. We need as much exposure as possible. once we become relevant again, then we can afford to turn down hard knocks. It'll be like the ugly girl turning down the quaterback of the high school football team because we're afraid our image will be hurt. We have an image but it ain't a good one. How bad could this be for us? What are we gonna do? Miss the playoffs, get blown out in a Super Bowl, or get humiiliated on Monday night football by the Patriots 57 to 17?
  24. Born and raised in Buffalo. Lower west Side in the Lake View Projects. LIved in the Grant street area, Ken-Bailey area and Riverside. Now I'm in North Dakota because of the Air Force, where I'm active duty. I'll always be a Bills fan, most of my family still lives in Buffalo. I go back once or twice a year if I can. There are actually more Bills fans here than I thought it would be and they have no ties to Buffalo.
  25. I hate to say it but I'm embarrased to be a Bills fan. The Bills have been dominated in every way. They mentally checked out and that falls on the head coach because this team has no confidence. Once you lose confidence you have nothing. They looked like my son's pee wee team looked like after they looked across the field at the other teams bigger players and were scared to play aganist them. I don't think the Bills could beat the Colts or any team right now. Right now they are the worst team in the league. I stopped watching the game and that's something I never do but I just couldn't watch anymore. The Bills are the laughing stock of the NFL, no one outside of the WNY area or die hard fans believes in this team. I don't know how they expect free agents to want to come here, this team is cursed. This team doesn't believe in itself anymore...sad...just...sad.
