A lot of people have asked me about being a Giants fan and a Bills fan, so here is the story. Yes my signature says "Resident Giants Fan" truthfully. I was born in a family where it is Giants and Yankees. The grandparents could care less about hockey. I grew up in Rochester (which is why I am a Sabres fans) where almost everyone is a Bills fan although there is a surprising strong contingent of Dolphins fans. I noticed a lot of Cowboys fans growing up but that was at the peak of their success so I'll attribute the fan base to that. To further cement my Giants fandom I have a picture of me shoveling snow wearing one of those ridiculous Starter jackets that everyone wanted in the early 90s with the front pocket. No, that picture will never be placed on here. I remember watching the Giants/Bills Super Bowl and closing my eyes during the Norwood kick (Sorry) thinking the Giants had lost. The three Super Bowls after that I went to a family friend's house (Bills fans) to watch the game and rooted for them but nothing came of it. Fast forward to 2000 as I enter UB as a freshman. I spent Sundays hoping the Giants would be on UB cable and razzing my Buffalo native friends when their team would fail. I never had a reason to dislike the Bills but I was indifferent to them. Sometime during the Giants last Super Bowl run I mentioned that I had never been to any NFL game. A friend of mine (fellow Giants fan) split Bills season tickets with someone and said I could go to a couple in 2008. Fast forward to 2008 and the Seattle Seahawks opener. We rolled into the parking lots at Ralph Wilson Stadium at 8am and immediately I felt under-dressed in my UB Bulls shirt. Ten minutes and $50 later I was wearing a Fletcher jersey. Then madness unfolded for the next four and a half hours at the tailgate before waiting forever to get in the stadium and missing the flyover. Anyone who has ever been to a game knows what I am talking about. The sense of community and family at that tailgate was something I had never seen in all my years in Buffalo. At that moment I realized what the Bills meant to the community. The same held true during the game. What turned into one game to say I had been to an NFL game turned into going to every single one except for the Chargers. It turned me into a Bills fan (a Bills/Giants Super Bowl rematch would make me ) which I never expected to happen. It caused me to get season tickets for this upcoming year. Anyway in summation, I can't wait to see all of you in September. Lets go Bills on Three...1...2...3...

NyQuil University at Buffalo Age 27 Pass Catching TE Height: 5'11" Weight 215 40: Wait we get to play Edward FortyHands? Bench: I'll keep it warm. Vertical Leap: 20 feet when a football almost hit my Dodge Spirit, two feet the rest of the time. Cone/Shuttle: I was sleeping. PROS: A slow TE who will get pushed over by any defensive lineman bursting through. This leaves him open for short dump passes if the quarterback is too scared to throw further than 10 yards. Makes up for lack of size and skill with grit and humorous costumes in post game interviews. CONS: Can often be found tailgating before the game. At 27 may be too old to teach the game since he has never played organized football. Durability may be a concern. SUMMARY: He fills a need for the Bills as a potentional playmaking TE. Will play for league minimum. PROJECTION: Russ Brandon and the brain trust feel he has more upside than Robert Royal. A second round pick.

Why should Toronto not have a team
NyQuil replied to jax bill backer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pretty much summed up. I have yet to meet someone from Toronto that actually wants the team there. -
Way to overreact to a joke and put words in my mouth. Marshawn's actions would leave me to question his intelligence. Yes, Leodis sounds less intelligent when he speaks. How smart is he, I have no idea. Not only what you say, but the way you say it will cause people to make judgements on your intelligence. I like both guys as players, no need to get ultradefensive for them.

RB Travis Henry is facing a mandatory 10 years to life

One of the conditions of his release should be a vasectomy. -
Seriously how do you score a 4 on the Wonderlic? Anyone know what Marshawn and Leodis scored?

Season Ticket Holders Buying Extra Tickets
NyQuil replied to NyQuil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks for the responses. The most I will be buying is 3 or 4. -
So I got seasons this year and supposedly one of the perks is buying extra tickets before they go on sale to the general public. I am planning on buying some for a couple friends? Does anyone know when they start letting ST holders buy?

At least the 4pm kickoffs are when its nice out.

Three hours fro mthe release and no leaks. Color me surprised.

He is really overrated and if he doesn't want to be here get rid of him.
-
No I am not. Third Base is actually one of the bars you have to be 21 to get in now. All the minors have migrated to Steer since PJ Bottoms closed.
-
I have Bills season tickets.

Read my sig.

Wow...the last weeks of the season and play offs show how bad we need a playmaking WR.
-
I'd say yes, but I am from Rochester so I am biased.

Jerseys as low as $5 (plus a few more for shipping)
NyQuil replied to Glass To The Arson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah I am sure its the dryer's fault. All kidding aside, I experienced the same thing at the end of the season. For all the winter weather games I wore cold gear under armor, regular under armor, a red hoodie that had a thermal lining, and my Fletcher jersey. After every game I washed all my stuff and it all came out fine. After the Pats game the jersey and both sets of the under armor were fine. The hoodie however had shrunk so it didn't fit anymore. Of course it was from Steve and Barrys which had just closed. So now when the cold weather approaches I will keep my eyes peeled for a blue or red hoodie that has a thermal lining. It was a key component of staying warm during December and MNF. -

Niagara Falls and the Buffalo Bills
NyQuil replied to GOBILLS!!!!!'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would watch the team if they were anywhere in the Greater Buffalo or Greater Rochester region. Outside of that it would be back to Giants only. -
$315 to watch seven games, nine if I am really bored during the preseason, is a great deal. Sure its 20 rows back in the 300s* (I cant wait for the winter games) but its going to be a fun time. I miss football. *This is my first year with seasons.

What exactly did he do to deserve the contract last year besides holding out and then letting linebackers sack Trent?
