  1. you do realize that he IS SIGNED TO A LONG TERM CONTRACT now, dont you????? Its not even remotely close to the Briere/Drury situation!
  2. Yeah, we can ask the Browns to cut him just so we can sign him. Moron
  3. Why is everyone so caught up with Pettigrew? Have you seen him play? I do not see anything that would make me want to use #11 pick on him. A TE at that spot needs to be a difference maker, not a good all around TE. Why add another predominately blocker to our slew of TEs that we have? Did you know he has avg speed? Caught 0 tds last year? Some draft publication lines on him: Possesses prototypical height and bulk for a NFL tight end. He's a good athlete but his straight-line speed is adequate-at-best for the position. Only concern here is with his mental toughness. He tends to turn his motor on and off when he feels like it. He can get lazy and undisciplined at times Pettigrew is a first-round talent, but probably won't go there because of character issues. Pettigrew allegedly assaulted a police officer on Jan. 20. This is one of the big areas of concern regarding his pro potential. While smooth and fluid for his size, he lacks the speed necessary to consistently stretch the seam as a receiver. I can't see the Bills adding another player with a troubled past similar to what Hardy was last year. We reached on Hardy because the owner and we the fans wanted a Big WR. None of the players who fit that (Kelly, Sweed or Hardy had any impact. And though it does take WRs a few years to accimate, did you really see anything out of Hardy that gave you a glimpse?) Lets stick to Defense, take a DE, LB or even DT. PIck up a TE latter (popular on here is Coffman) on in FA.
  4. Your scenario make more sense in alot of ways. They won't sign vilma as he is in Middle and we have Poz. I like the Ravens ctr as well as a top FA option, Jason Brown. They will let Greer go as they cannot afford him and probably Ellison. Id take Crowell over any other backer out in FA, excpet maybe Scott. If the go DE in round 1, how can they afford to keep Kelsay? So they will likely cut him. I can't see them taking Raji as they have strouds contract, which he wants to re=neg and just signed Kyle Williams to extension, even though its not huge money, still substantial. Not big on Pettigrew, as he is best TE, but not the gamebreaker for the 11th pick overall. Rather take a shot in round two=three on one. If we don't get Brown, love to see them take Caldwell of Alabama as he is toughest of college center lot. we still need a FA receiver to help as Hardy won't be back for awhile and didnt look to be all the impressive when he was healthy.
  5. The improvement in the run game after Preston took over, had nothing to do with him but more to do with Peters finally playing like he can and Dockery stepping up some. Most of their big runs were on the left side, NOT up the middle. As a matter of fact, I thought that Edwards had changed his # to 75 as Preston had been pushed back into him so much by DTs.
  6. I agree with you. Alpo=dog just wants to make himself sound like he is the gm and knows what he is talking about, which he doesn't. Let him have his dream as Fantasy Football GM.
  7. wait...its lame because it had little to do with the topic? who brought it up? Yeah, cuz Jim Kelly's teams never threw the ball, ever. We need to run the ball, because we haven't had a decent WRing corps since the 90's.
  8. NO kidding THE pass is just as important. Tt was evenly balanced and thats the point. You were the one stating that you only run the ball because the receivers suck. Thats not true. Good teams are evenly balanced which both you and alpo dawg don't seem to understand. If you doubt that Im telling the truth, look it up yourself clown.
  9. I guess you missed the pt. as you always do. By the way, the Bills SB teams of 1990-94 ran the ball more than they passed it, even with Kelly, Reed, Beebe, Lofton, etc. They ran over 52% of the time. Look it up Thurman!
  10. Boldin averages 3 missed games a year. Do you really think RW will rip up his contract and give him a new one and have your two WR's make that kind of money on a team that needs to be able to run the ball in Buffalo to be successful? please.
  11. You imply that the Bills know what play action is. When was the last time they even ran a play action play?
  12. Are you serious? Its one thing to want to be on the field for your team, its another that in the most important drive in the Franchise's history to be on the sidelilne screaming obsentities and threatening the OC who is standing next to the head coach. Its childless, selfish and disruptive. Reminiscant of TO in SF and Scotty Pippen in the playoff game when Toni Kukoc took the last shot and Pippen took himself out and sat on the bench to pout, as Kukoc made the shot. I live in Phoenix so I get to see and hear about Boldin everyday. He is a great receiver and warrior, but.......he is a typical Rosenhous client who puts himself above the team and even though he moaned about a contract two years ago and they resigned him to a new contract, now wants another one. He wants Fitzgerald money and he is not in Fitz's category. In addition, he is injury prone, just check out how many games he has missed the last 4 seasons. The Bills will never trade for him and give him the huge salary he wants. Say what you want, but he was jealous that Fitz was getting all the balls and TDs.
  13. I agree, either he or Jason Brown should be priority #1 in Free Agency. though Browns natural position is Guard. Birk might command too much $ as the top O/L man available though.
  14. It has nothing to do with ESPN. Unlike yourself, I watch more than just the Bills games. Rogers has 30 more tackles, but that position is not always about tackled, but you still need to look at that.
  15. He was not the player that either Kris Jenkins or Shaun Rogers were and they both were acquired for the same price draft choice wise.
  16. Im truly surprised that Ralph did not fire Jauron and make his precious little daughter Linda Bogdan coach!
  17. Steve, All you did was make a fantasy list of who you want on the Bills. Do you really think that Hayneworth, Peppers, Ray Lewis and Suggs will help us??? please, no kidding. When was the last time we forked over huge money like it would take to get them here?? Maybe Spikes? Doesn't happen often, keep dreaming. Have you ever watched Leonard Pope play?? I live in Az, see him all the time......Big, no speed, can only catch jump balls, not much of blocker for his size. Pass. Why would Kurt Warner, who will be in Top 5 for MVP want to come to Buffalo to back up Trent?? Do you really think that?? Please tell me you Don't.
  18. Your points may be taken a little more seriously if only you had a clue on how to spell!
