    With all do respect, I seriously doubt that the Bills game plan was to allow Miami to get 6.2 yards per play and punt just once in the entire game.

    Can you imagine Belichick going to the Jets after the fiasco when they tried to hire him and all the crap he’s talked about Woody Johnson since?

    I wouldn't trade anything for him now, but if you believe in the principle of "buy low, sell high" then maybe take a flyer on him next season. He had a major leg injury just last year and his play should improve when he fully recovers. I think there's a chance that he develops into solid depth in the right system.

    Actually, I thought McDermott seemed unenthusiastic at the time, IMO. They posted the video of the draft room when Boogie was picked and McD looked kind of stunned for a couple of seconds, then said “hey, you can never have too many pass rushers” or similar. It wasn’t “wohoo, we got our guy” like with Rousseau. It was more “ok, I guess.”

    So once the team doctor gives the medical report to the team staff, they can then pass it along to reporters, agents, the public, etc. as they see fit without the player having anything to say about it? Sounds crazy.

    It still amazes me that reporters can publish medical information about players without violating any HIPPA laws.

    Rapp was better than fine last night. Gives me hope that he might actually turn into a solid starter with a better partner.

    It’s surprising to me that the Bills can run the ball as well as they are despite opposing defenses paying no respect to the WRs and playing everyone at or near the LOS. That’s where having at least one guy who can’t be covered 1v1 is invaluable.

    It’s mostly scheme related. The Bills play a base nickel defense with 2 high safeties most of the time, so they’re going to be vulnerable vs run. What really concerns me, is that despite playing like this they are still giving up tons of explosive 20+ yard plays. That should not be happening.

    This is the kind of thinking that makes me hate the Jets. They’re a 2-4 team that hasn’t made the playoffs in 13 years, just fired their head coach, and are on the verge of imploding, but people are penciling in win after win like they’re some kind of juggernaut.
