  1. i am in total agreement with your thought on what the stadium will be used for if it has a roof.. outside of a final four B-BALL, what would it be used for? no need for a roof..FNC can handle any indoor events that the city wants to host.
  2. http://www.buffaloruse.com/sports/doug-marrone-blames-patriots-for-deflating-his-balls-too/
  3. is that george soros's group???
  4. i agree, the league could be headed to a WWF perception.. between the latest deflategate and the blatant blown call in the dallas detroit game, people will start wondering...
  5. no argument there.. agree 100 per-cent..
  6. most of what you enumerated could be held at the FNC.. im not against a new stadium necessarily, but very anti dome.. anti roof, anti covered stadium..
  7. ok.. what "revenue producers" do you have in mind? i hear that reason all the time, but have yet to be convinced of what those events would be.
  8. i think the term "dome" is used interchangeably with "roof".. same premise.." open air" or "uncovered"
  9. please explain , how is it throwing money away??
  10. agree on both counts!.. and as i said in other posts regarding this, the frozen four will not be coming here every year, nor will the NCAA regionals.. WTH are you going to use a covered stadium for ?.
  11. and a very, VERY sterile atmosphere..
  12. i sure hope you were referring to the steelers! LOL.. i have had enough of "tank"..
  13. those events are worthy, but dont seem like permanent events.. sporadic..lots not seem worthy of a 75,000 seat stadium.. i saw a senior prom listed..if you assume there will be 10 football games and maybe a regional, a frozen four, but they happen every 5-10 yrs at best..
  14. i am curious as to what other events a downtown domed stadium could hold. i am not trying to be a wise guy, but i hear all this talk about "year round events".. i really cant think of any "sure things" that would justify a covered stadium..
  15. analysis? opinion? whatever you deem worthy of calling it, i happen to agree with it and am aware many disagree..
  16. very well stated.. one of the best analysis i have seen on here regarding the stadium situation..
  17. this topic has been discussed at length and rightfully so... as for me, hard to really offer an opinion.. i am torn.. love the tailgating obviously at the ralph, but also realize the economics of today's NFL.. like anybody else who loves the area, i want to see it prosper and a downtown stadium just adds to the mix of buffalo's re-development.. but my biggest fear is the design.. again, that has been discussed , i am firmly opposed to a dome, just my opinion, if i was king of the world i would want an open air stadium like the steelers or seahawks stadium.. with a little character.. the idea of hosting a super bowl is a pie-in- the- sky idea.. not going to happen.. all that being said.. retro fit the ralph..
  18. AGREE!.. no red helmets..
  19. not a helluva lot difference between that and the ralph..
