  1. be glad for the choices! if anyone who remembers the original food in 1973 , this new stuff is from a different world. the hot dogs back then were floating in a tub at the concession stands. almost unedible .. but beer was cheap , and you were drunk , so it didnt matter
  2. probably too early for a map of the first few weeks coverage. living in philly , im hoping for the pats game to be carried here.
  3. LOL!. i agree, it seems no matter who we cut i e: hogan, thigpen, cassel , bellicheat will grab em!
  4. my only contribution was agreeing with someone who said brown for a possible 5th rd pick.. nothing earth shattering. just kind of going with the flow .. and certainly not witty , or cutting edge.. like "not trading marshawn lynch".. which i dont get.
  5. yea.. why stick to the topic. , you are right, lets have an open mic.. last comedian standing.
  6. not the point, was interested in the responses to the OP topic.. thats all, just speaking for myself, but the usual . predictable glib comments gets tiring .. and your obvious jauron reference .. jeez.. hint.. get some new material.
  7. if the injury situation was different, i agree about brown..
  8. why does everyone have to be a comedian? ok we get it.. you guys are "edgy"
  9. JMHO. based on what i read , i have to go along with o'leary as a disappointment, really thought he was your typical late round "steal". and go with henderson as the surprise. "surprise" based on the fact he was going into camp in the proverbial doghouse.. seems to have totally righted himself.
  10. as one of the old guys on here, the bills drafted al atkinson a linebacker in the mid 60's, they cut him after training camp, picked up by the jets, was a very important cog in the jet defense for years.. played on their super bowl team
  11. a mentor or"'babysitting role".. for this guy .. for kromer?..http://pro32.ap.org/article/ryan-bills-hiring-pat-meyer-has-no-ties-kromers-status
  12. i live for football , and hockey, to a lesser extent. the NFL gets to me lately because of the "pop culture" aspect it seems to be embracing. i am 63, an old-schooler for sure, the pre-game shows are unwatchable, and some of the other nonsense that goes on gets under my skin. all that said, i will watch as always , but do appreciate the OP point.
  13. too long of a thread to see if i missed anything , but if they give in to brady, IMHO, the league loses cred.. screw the threats of the NFLPA, do what is right, keep the integrity of the game. again, just my opinion.
  14. the eagles are somewhat interesting, but i have absolutely no rooting interest in them. chip kelly is colorful, team could be good, or flop, the fans here are funny they are the most critical , fickle fans i have ever seen. i hate NYC teams, but their arse h-le fans are at least consistent.
  15. IMHO, the best uniform in sports is the chicago black hawks road whites.. totally classic..
  16. is it over now? .. give this and any other michael sam thread a peaceful burial..i would almost rather read about analysis of the 2016 draft than michael sam.
  17. never heard of him.. but ok. maybe he was covering something other than the bills, or not even in the business 4 years ago.
