what is about ESPN and the bills? it has been a constant for a while now. by no means am i condoning the ineptitude at one bills drive, but they seem to have specific love affairs , i e : favre, jerry jones, snyder and the skins, and bash the bills at their convenience. not very creative, but like i am sure lots on here will say, winning will cure it.

i agree!, look at recent history with O lineman, robert gallery, mike williams, you better be sure. i realize it is the draft, but some O lineman turn out to be busts more often ( maybe it just seems that way), but am wary. i still would try and get gaither and fill that need with a proven commodity.

i, for one, am sick of mock drafts. i was not mocking "wes bunting", just the general mock draft overkill that fans are facing. speaking for myself, i really do not actually give a sh-t about the credentials of draft "guru's"

hey, i take nothing away from kiper, he was ahead the curve, and obviously was responsible for creating the cottage industry that mock drafts have become. this thread proves it, never heard of the guy projecting tebow to the bills.

i saw bill tobin, a former GM of indy , absolutely crucify kiper on espn a few years back. some of his quotes.."who is mel kiper?".. "my neighbor knows more about drafting than mel kiper". with that it mind, just get to the freakin draft!, enough of these guys spewing draft nonsense. i know the NFL loves the year round pub, but move it up to march, its becoming a circus, allowing guys in their basements to gain attention.

i think his stock is rising quite rapidly and i think he will not last until round 2. as how it relates to the bills, if they arent sandbagging, they appear to have a genuine interest in him, so much so, that i heard a few pundits say they could see them taking him with the 9th pick!, not sure how i feel about that.

ideally, trade down, add a pick, then take him later in the first round with that pick. lets face it, its as much a crapshoot as ever, who really knows?, i am sick of draft talk by the "experts", see tom brady.

totally agree!, after enduring the drafts of the 2000's , what is there to lose?, if they feel tebow is the guy, i am on board, have a degree of confidence in nix's judgment. go get him!

i would think it would depend on the subject matter. how much prep does a philosophy prof have to do?, a history prof?, i think they spin the same old sh-t, to be quite honest. again, just an opinion. i wish they would refrain from "mandatory" research and take a sabbatical. maybe try a job out of the classroom, see what is actually going on.

i was responding to the previous post, part of which dealt with the salaries of college professors. you may want to re- read the entire post before passing judgment. i guess "assine" is in the mind of the beholder. you sound uptight, relax, life is good.. tax time..

bingo! university professors make wall street crooks look like choir boys!. they are legally stealing money. to command the salaries and perks , and not have a clue as to what goes on in the real world is maddening.

my total focus is always on keeping the bills in buffalo, where they belong. i know, green bay was grandfathered in as far as community ownership goes, but i think some heat should be generated by the politicians on the league to allow buffalo, if there is interest to do so, be community owned. i am aware of the "jerry jones" type arguments about "franchise value" and maintaining it, but i do not think the NFL wants to be like baseball. they want the small market in their league. i think it should be explored, but if jacksonville moves to LA, then all of a sudden the leverage is gone for the ever threatening owners . outside of san antonio, there will be no more markets to really go to that are realistically viable.

wow!, thank you so much!, i am old enough to remember 1960!, i actually attended 3-4 games that year as a wide-eyed 8 yr old. just looking at old war memorial stadium brought back so many memories. that stadium took lots of PR hits , but i absolutely loved it!. i loved it so much i used to attend double a baseball games in the 80's just to have the chance to go back inside it. the uniforms in 60 were just simple blue and silver, wish they would go back to them even, compared to the clown outfits they wear now.

i could see the old regime picking tebow at 9, the russ brandon 'wow" factor to sell tickets. this group, i dont think so, they seem to possess some football acumen. as for using their second, i would be ok.

it depends on who you deal him to. a second from an also ran is obviously more meaningful than a second from san diego. i am stating the obvious, but i am sure it is a consideration.
