  1. flores NEVER wore 21, he wore 16 , not the number he wore in oakland. i believe he wore 15 in oakland, kemp had it here , obviously.
  2. i am not sure of the level of interest in him as far as the bills braintrust is, but it will obviously boil down to dollars, and if they are equal, it will be denver, as we know. i hope, more than anything else, that this regime restores the bills as an organization that can shake the irrelevancy and return the team's reputation as a desirable place to play, a team that is committed to doing whatever it takes to win.
  3. this is the first hint of adams being connected to the bills since he was cut. i say.. "why not?", like you said, the more the merrier...
  4. what is wrong with lynch? i know he is a complete !@#$ , but he has a heckuva upside as a running back. i envision him contributing this year, but the attitude is indefensible. i am strictly evaluating his ability to contribute to the success of the bills , but my patience is wearing thin.
  5. non-story, please do not take offense, nothing personal, but why give this attention- seeking jackass the time of day. he is a good player, no doubt, but getting sick of places like PFT filling time with non-stories.
  6. that can only help, goodell being from the jamestown area originally, that is two , HUGE, actual power brokers with WNY roots. i think it may help in preventing a quick grab of the bills and relocating them .i do not care about ethics, rules , etc, I WANT THE BILLS TO REMAIN IN THE BUFFALO AREA , and having these two on our side helps.
  7. lol!, that is their own fault!, the current uni's are a laughingstock.. go back to tradition, it sells!, just ask green bay, dallas, giants, teams with the classic look.
  8. yea, jack kemp was born and raised here!, who cares, slaughter has been in office too long! all the people that B word and complain about washington, well she is the poster child!.. an old comfortable incumbent ,..kick her a$$ fred!
  9. i think they will give maybins every chance to make an impact. but as the previous poster said, john mccargo is certainly suspect!
  10. i see mitchell under the gun , especially if batten and moats show anything! as for a surprise, (if you assume spiller delivers) will be steve johnson. just a thought, nothing earth shattering, i know.
  11. i happen to think the bills will be better, but never expected espn to acknowledge it. on the pre-game show, the bills are an afterthought(probably somewhat deserved), lets hope mort is right.
  12. when anybody from espn says anything remotely positive about the bills, it does make you wonder if the END is truly here. cannot believe it is mort. when i saw it, just thought he had absolutely nothing he could tweet about, so he made something up.
  13. mortreport RT @Jfalse33: @mortreport I think that the Bills are going to surprise, especially in the AFC East. > They'll be better but so is division about 5 hours ago
  14. i think that also. parking is great, access is good, stadium is in decent shape. why the need for a new one?it has luxury boxes that realize a profit. everybody cannot be NY or dallas. we are buffalo, money is made off the bills, decent profit!.
  15. the greed of the NFL is appalling. they want to bleed every cent they can out of the public. how much is enough for these guys? i believe in the free-market system as much as anybody, but there are so many galling examples of greed that they could give the crooks on wall st a run for their money! not allowing bidding for the NFL ticket, strict enforcement of the blackout rule, PSL'S, i cant think of anymore right now, but the list keeps growing and i do not get it. they probably will kill the "golden goose".
  16. i like schobel as much as anybody, but my own impression of him is that he never really embraced being a BUFFALO BILL. hard to explain, but i always thought he showed up, did his job, then left. that is fine, but he seemed detached, could care less as long as he got his sacks, stats looked good. i am probably all wrong about this, and will accept my punishment, but its a gut feeling about him. would i like to see him back, SURE, but i am a bills die-hard, who will accept anything , as long as it makes the bills better.
  17. i could not agree more, "majical times" they were for sure!, it always did feel good being on top of the football world during those years! you are right!, just enjoy them , and i will!
  18. very mixed emotions!, i love looking at the glory years , but it is so bittersweet, the eventual losses in the SB coupled with the state of the franchise now, (and how it was allowed to get there) just puts me in a negative zone. guess i need a life outside of the bills.
  19. totally agree!, a second , and name the DB, you want(except mcKelvin), and the deal is done. shoring up the O line seems to be the only area of need, assuming you get consistent play from the QB position.i thought the D was decent last year, on the field too much. Really, i like the D, as it is now constructed. i anticipate a very competitive team if you get the left tackle position settled. then, just line up , and lets go. lets see what we got!
  20. absolutely!, espn is now speculating, the bills may be looking at brown from new orleans .
  21. easy answer, the super bowl. while i am a huge buffalo sports fan, a super bowl victory dwarfs a stanley cup championship. i want both, but feel the bills are on the right track, the sabres frustrate me with their attitude. larry quinn and co should be gone, they have played the sabre fan base as stooges long enough. ruff and regier entering year 14!, are you kidding me?, any other city would have run them out long ago, cannot understand the free pass ruff and the sabres get.
